"This is a small time shop with an indoor and outdoor seating. The chef who creates the menu has a great taste in food! There's many different, unique flavors. The place is very clean and the quality of ingredients are great too. They have a variety of coffee and pastry items. I recommend! :-)"
"The food was solid. Unlike most places; your bread, polenta, and bananas/plantains are in the buffet area with a lot of other items which are self served. But here's a small story. Hungry. Angry. Hangry! That is the mood I got myself into after not eating for so long. The husband and I decided to drop by here at 4:00 without realizing that they didn't open for another hour so we kill time by going to Dillard's down the street. Once waiting and getting here the ambiance was quaint. Not too warm, and not too cold! You'll need a light jacket if you're running on the frigid side. Were greeted by our server Adelino and that was one of the last times seeing him besides him dropping and picking up the check. Everyone else was solid; the food? Delicious. A little salty but it works out. There's a nice fat cap on a bunch of the items so it retains that extra flavor and juiciness. But why the 3 stars raj? There was a server with an electric fly swatter and he was doing it over and around the bar where drinks were being sent out. Please by the love of god do that not in service and in front of guests. I suppose what really got me and rubbed me the wrong way was of an auto gratuity when it was just a simple date night between eyad and I. If I hadn't had seen it, I would've tipped the average 25%. But oh well, you lose some and the server definitely lost that extra 5%. -should shrug- we paid and left but just be cautious and weary."

"I started with a frozen strawberry margarita that was so strong it warmed my cold, little heart. For the main course, I had the green chicken enchiladas with Mexican rice and beans. The enchiladas were packed with flavor, and I especially appreciated the chicken being all white meat. The rice was perfectly fluffy, and the beans came with fresh cotija cheese on top.Overall, great food, a drink that hits harder than my caffeine habit, and a relaxed vibe. I'll definitely be back--next time, I'll try not to fill up on margaritas before dessert!"
"My family has been going here since before I was born and it remains my favorite restaurant. The best arepa and tres leches I've ever had. Service can be a little slow depending on who's working waitstaff but they'll come to you right away if you flag them down."
"The food was amazing! The service was great but the restaurant is very dark! Hard to even see the menu. Didn't bother me too much because the food and service made up for it!"
"Walking to this cute hiddden gem will take you back in history!!! The service was amazing! Ordering took a little long but once you get to the register you see why they truly are attentive to each customer! The food was AMAZING very flavorful and fresh! Fair pricing!"
"Came here on a whim with a visiting friend and absolutely enjoyed my experience, although I wish we had better seating it didn't take away from the beauty of this place. The food was fresh and made to order, absolutely delicious and my drink was okay but not to much to mention. I would definitely come back, the hostess mentioned a wonderful brunch I would love to try."
"Final review, to average out my visits. I'll just say, when they're good, they are excellent. I've had a couple of blips but they will make it right. Definitely give them a try."
"Really friendly people and pretty decent Mexican food. Affordable for lunch. They have a reasonable lunch menu. Place always seems clean, especially the bathroom. Nice outdoor seating area for the nice days. We like to go here for lunch. I would love to check out the nightlife scene. They do have a full bar."
"The coffee was fair. Kind of expensive. $7 after a tip for one lg flavored coffee. It was very sweet also. The Cuban coffee was not very strong and was also very sweet for my tastes. The empanada was small and just ok. Service was fast but not friendly at all.over all if your in the area maybe stop in but I would not definitely go out of my way again to mate a trip here for breakfast and coffee. Price was high for what you get in my opinion."
"I have been on the hunt for good Tex/Mex cheese enchilada for years. I finally found them! So delicious and stuffed full of cheese. I will be back."
"Fantastic Peruvian foods! We feel very welcome walking into the restaurant. You can choose to sit at any opening table and this place is family and kids-friendly. Very good service and their foods are reasonably priced. The music is a bit loud but that goes well with the fun & relaxing vibe of El Tesoro del Inca. We love the ceviche and beef steaks served with rice, fried eggs, and fries."

I visited Latin Deli when they first opened and loved it! Over ten years later, the food still stands! I loved the chilaquiles. Such a delicious feast. I added eggs and chorizo and would do so again in a heart beat. The coffee was strong and the outdoor patio was perfect for us with our dogs. Definitely a solid spot that is tucked away in Dallas

The only reason I'm taking away a star is because the service started off pretty slow. It took a while to get acknowledged by a waiter and the drinks and apps took a while to come. BUT when we got it everything tasted great! Loved the ceviche. The empanadas were really good especially the chicken. Didn't get to finish all 4 of the amigos tacos but it was really good as well. Restaurant was cutely decorated for Valentine's Day.

This is my updated review after visiting Zaguan again last week after about a year ago. It's just so lovely here!! From their website, "Zaguán is the elaborate entry-passage in the grand old colonial homes of Spain and Latin American." I always get so impressed when places like this exist in Dallas. It's like an escape from the day to day. If you're looking for a gorgeous mosaic of stone and tile, menu items like cheese arepas, empanadas, plantain chips, and fresh veggies, come here. Order yourself a cappuccino, sit by a window, and live your best life. The staff are so kind and patient with you and make you feel at home. 100% recommend for a work/study date.

Te Deseo is, hands down, one of the most exceptional dining experiences. From the moment we walked in, the vibrant ambiance, impeccable decor, and lively energy transported us to what felt like an upscale Latin American oasis. Every detail of the restaurant was perfection. What truly made our evening unforgettable was our incredible server, Thalia. She went above and beyond to ensure our experience was flawless. Her warm smile and genuine enthusiasm immediately made us feel welcome, and her knowledge of the menu was outstanding. Thalia's recommendations were spot on, and she guided us through the menu with the expertise of someone who clearly loves what they do. We started with the ceviche, which was fresh and bursting with flavor, followed by quesadillas and nachos that were nothing short of divine. Each dish was beautifully presented and crafted with high-quality ingredients.Thalia's attentiveness was unmatched; she anticipated our needs without being intrusive, and her cheerful demeanor added such a personal touch to the evening. She made us feel like VIPs and turned an already amazing dinner into a truly special experience. Te Deseo is a must-visit for anyone seeking exceptional food, a fun and lively atmosphere, and top-tier service. And if you're lucky enough to have Thalia as your server, you're in for an absolute treat! To help us celebrate 15 years of marriage she also left us a nice treat at the end of the night. Thank you, Te Deseo and Thalia, for a night to remember. We can't wait to come back!

This is some of the best bbq I've had. I drive from Arlington to eat here. The citrus rubbed ribs and turkey are very impressive. The burnt ends are nothing short of transcendent. The brisket is great, and the Chicharrones are to die for. A great twist is the Venezuelan influence from the owner's wife. Their cachapas are excellent. I haven't tried the arepas yet, but I do imagine I'll be impressed. I love the drinks. The service is great. Never had a problem. The dining area isn't large, but it's pleasant.

"Quick and helpful service, easy to find, clean interior. Fantastic burger cooked fresh, great seasoned fries."
"I came across this place during the Castle Hills Art & Wine Walk. It's a teeny little place with great food, drinks and service! I had the birria tacos from the Chef's Menu board...they were delicious! The beef had great flavor and the melt cheese...just YES. Everyone at the table was pleased with their dinner. We met some neighborhood regulars who highly recommended the margaritas and made some dinner suggestions. The bar in back was busy with the football game on. And our server was great. I highly recommend this place!"
"Hot take: Peruvian chicken is by far the best version of chicken. Imagine a Costco rotisserie chicken but with an attitude and personality and that's a Peruian rotisserie chicken. Out of all the joints in DFW, Munay by far makes the best version. You can taste the seasoning with every bite, even down to the deepest sections of the breast. The Aji sauce is addicting and offers a nice spicy quick to the chicken. The Chaufa de Pollo hit the spot just right. Hot on arrival and packed with flavor. Tasted like it was cooked in a wok. 10/10 recommend."
"This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in all of the DFW. The authentic flavor of the dishes is incredibly comforting and the ambiance is relaxed and wonderful. The mangu, arroz and tostones were perfect. The meat was tender and full of flavor. The jugo de parcha was tart and delicious. And the morisoñando was absolutely AMAZING."
"Great restaurant turn salsa/bachata bar! Come here after 3-5pm and you'll see the crowd really transform! We came here from the draw of the music stayed for the food and dancing! This place get wild after 8pm so look to getting a reservation! I ordered there cubano and elote which was more than enough for 2 people. The cubano was just got off the press and smothered with meats of beef and jabon! I would really get this if you're very hungry and looking to soak something up with your enjoyable margaritas! The elote is fresh and so buttery it meats in your mouth in an instant second! What really got us was the ambiance of the either place. Come with good friends and you'll find yourself a great time! The dancing is amazing and the vibe is great with great hostess and very cool bartenders.Don't let them line fool you at front as you can be at the bar and order food until 2am!"
"OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!! My fiancé is Honduran, and we have tried so many different spots. WE FINALLY found hands down the best one in Texas! The food was delicious. The place is so clean and cute! The Pupusa revuelta was my favorite! We are big foodies, so we made sure to try a variation of items from the menu, and I will tell you....we are NOT disappointed! Trust and believe that we WILL be back!!!!"
"Amazing Latin restaurant in downtown Waxahachie! The food was flavorful with a great variety of dishes to choose from. Empanadas, Cuban sandwich, chicken tortilla soup, and my new favorite - brisket grilled cheese. The fried plantains and espresso martini are a MUST. Everything was fresh, and the vibrant flavors really stood out. A hidden Waxahachie gem. Highly recommend for anyone who loves Latin cuisine and is looking for some variety in Waxahachie!"
"Excellent food and service. Clean and well kept dining area. We were seated quickly and had very attentive waitstaff. My husband and I had the fajitas and the food was well prepared and very tasty!"
"I want to give a shout out to fellow yelpers! Manda C. thanks to you I found this place way back when I did. To Paige, the ultimate lover of great Mexican food... this taco is for you my man! Love this real taqueria. Inside a gas station but really great. They ran out of Gorditas today ...bummer but when they are good they go super fast. Always busy.5/5 Gorditas, Sopes and taco plate.5/5 Fajita beef 3 taco plate. Plump and moist. Squeeze of lime dripping off the onions and cilantro. Splash a little salsa verde and bam!!! Soo great. Love the rice and beans. Both are homemade with the touch of highly trained master. The grilled Jalapeño is the icing on it all. Love this place. Cheers."
"Best tortilla soup I've ever had.great parkinggreat ownersThursday is karaoke nightSaturday is Latin Night I think. The sour cream enchilads are greatIma a fan. there is patio seating a full bargreat customer servicebilingual great prices lots of spaceand so much more. This place doesn't disappoint I'm definitely a regular and will probably see you here soon."
"I am not an expert on Central American cuisine, yet. But maybe soon I will be. Tried a pork chop today and a chile relleno. Both were unique and very good. There is an extensive menu, and they offer breakfast all day. But most importantly they are neighbors trying to make it like us all right now. Great place to improve ones regional latin cuisine knowledge!!"
"I came here with my Peruvian friend who was super pumped to try Peruvian food in Texas. They also sell Peruvian spices at the counter too!I ordered:Ceviche: this was wonderful and flavorful and I really liked it. Felt super healthy and freshAnticucho: my husband liked this and the meat was cooked wellBeef fried rice: was flavorful and pretty deliciousOverall was great. I would have given this a 5 but they were missing a lot of items on the menu, I also am in love with this aji Verde sauce they have at other places and I couldn't find it here."
"Try the menudo on the weekends no matter the weather outside. Trust me I'm extremely picky with menudo."
"Okay. So it's open late night!!!! So THAT'S AWESOME. Moms and pops joint. I love the quaint vibe . No was in here when we visited. I was so glad that we doing this place."
"hard to find this restaurant, it's actually in the little condo complex on the lake. very cute on the outside, hot af inside... i dunno if their AC was broken or if they just don't have AC but it was hot and uncomfortable. plan on doing to go. the pina coladas were delicious and the food was good at reasonable prices. the tequenos were very yummy and the ceviche was great. i woudl skip the arepitas. cacapa was good but quite heavy. overall, it was pretty good, but i think i would try somewhere else first before coming back."
"Okay so my Wife and I have been looking for authentic Mexican tacos for a while now since we moved to Fort Worth. We had been unsuccessful until today!!! San Andreas was really good and flavorful. The red hot sauce was the icing on the cake!!! We even ordered a second round of tacos to be greedy of course!"
"Definitely the best seafood in GP, we always come here before Cowboy games, only five mins from stadium. Fresh prepared oysters are a must. The ceviche is bomb, shrimp cocktails and vuelve a la vida are super good. The micheladas are nice and tangy. Don't come here if you're looking for Tex Mex or enchiladas etc, they serve the best Mexican style seafood though, the caldo is the best I've had this side of the border. Also some of the best chips and salsa in DF-Dub no doubt!"
"Best tacos ever! I have had many tacos but these are really good I can tell the difference when my husband gets tacos from another place I can tell he didn't bought from Nelys. My favorite place to get tacos!"
"Service was quick and friendly. There was a nice and inviting atmosphere. The food was pretty good and the drinks were good and packed a punch. The corn was my favorite."
