"Great burger spot. Fresh patty and buttered bread. Price is reasonable. You order your food at the counter but they'll pick up your place when your done. Not a bad spot to come for lunch"
"Love the turning doors to go in! It's a walk up order or use the digital screen to place order. I ordered the chili dog without onion and side of onion rings. Also ordered a cheese burger with a side drink. The burger was delicious way better than Whataburger! Onion rings were kinda over crispy and you can taste the oil. Next time I'll stick to the fries. Chili dog was good, kinda small but overall good food. They do serve beer! Which makes it a place to hangout for a bit. Nice setting area plus they have a patio area"

"This is a solid burger joint that has fresh meat with fresh, grilled vegetables.... Not to mention the sweet potato fries. Good service and a quiet place to enjoy your lunch."
"Several years ago, I watched my favorite comedian talk about this chocolate cake shake at Portillo's while he was in town doing a show in Chicago. The story was funny of course and left me wanting to try this shake the next time I visit Chicago. Btw, can anyone guess the comedian? Anyway, although I was excited when the first TX location opened up in Frisco, I resisted. Whenever I would pass by on my way to Dallas, I would peep over and see the crazy long line. So when one opened up near my house, there was no more resisting. They've been open for a few months now, but I waited for the crowd to die down and then a short phase of a vegan diet. Anyway, I pulled up to the drive thru and surprisingly there was no line to order. I did some research before and decided to try the beef sandwich that I've heard good things about from friends. It did not disappoint. I got it the standard way with sweet peppers. The Maxwell Street Polish sausage looked delicious. It certainly tasted delicious with a snappy sausage and topped with tangy mustard and tons of sweet grilled onions. I finally tried a Chicago style hot dog! It was just ok, not for me lol. Too much going on. Now, for the shake. It was everything I hoped for and more. This is the only way I want a chocolate shake from now on...with bits of chocolate cake in it! A small size was still plenty and my mind went to a place where calories did not exist. The drive thru staff was really nice and efficient. There was a little line at the window but it moved fairly quickly. I had such a great experience that I came to dine in during lunch. Plenty of tables inside and there's even a patio outside. The staff was cranking out orders during lunch in a timely manner. We didn't have to wait too long. Y'all have to come try it out. Don't forget the chocolate cake shake!"
"Our server Alex was great . Nice Texas ambiance. Children's meal is large and great deal at $5.99. Son had cheeseburger, fries and drink included. My chicken tenders were disappointing. Ok for quick bite."
"If anyone had told me that I'd be eating and ENJOYING burgers out of gas station, I would have hissed at them like a cat in the face of such an insult. But, y'all, this place is really good! I had been eyeing it, but was scared to go....since it is a gas station. But, then one of my "high maintenance" friends told me that she loved the burgers here. I figured it they were good enough for "Miss Fancy Pants," then they'd be good enough for me.You order at a tiny side counter from a very friendly lady who also prepares the food. A nice young man rings up your order. The first time I went (yeah, I've been here a lot now, but forget to check in), I ordered the patty melt and curly fries. That has become my favorite to go order here. At first bite, you can tell that they use quality ground beef. The cheese, onions, buttery Texas toast, and ground beef are delightful together. Even my curly fries were perfect --- crispy & non greasy.I do take out there. There is a very tiny seating area with a large drink selection area ----- they are a gas station and convenience store, so the tons of drink options make sense. There are only about 4 or 5 very small booths. They do have an outdoor seating area which I'll try in the Spring. The food is priced fairly and the burgers are huge. Burgers are cooked to order. The nice chef gave me a printed menu and let me know that I can call in orders. That has worked out wonderfully for the hubby & I. He calls 'em in and I pick 'em up.Parking isn't a problem, but they do get very busy some evenings, so it's nice to able to call in and pick up."
"Always passed this place up on my way to Kroger from Woodside Drive. One day I had a routine doctor's visit and was really craving a burger afterwards. While my go to burger spot is at Parks Mall didn't feel like mobbing that way and searched in my area and found Nearly Famous. I'm a sucker for a catchy named establishment and the proximity to my house was unmatched. I walked in and it was busy, which is always a happy site to see, but there was only one worker who I think was the owner, but he was taking it all in stride with the multiple orders that he had. Inside is plentyful seating but a little tight. It's a simple establishment to eat your burger and go. After talking with some other polite, patient patrons, my loaded fries and double cheeseburger were ready in about 15 minutes. Establishment also has an amazing "pay it forward" policy that you should inquire about if you don't already know about it. If you like to be a bit philanthropic or looking for a good deed to do for the day, you can help someone in need by contributing. When I got home and started eating, everything was absolutely delicious. I added some avocado to my burger, and I am absolutely stoked that I have them within arms to reach of my house."
"Excellent service, and tasty hot dogs and tots. The hot dogs had that nice pop when you bite into it and reminded us of Nathan's brand but fatter. We left with full bellies despite having left some fries and tots on our plates. I look forward to returning to give the ax throwing and the serve yourself drink tap a try."
"Local is almost always good. This one was really good. I went more out of curiosity, wondering if it was just another coney place. I assure it wasn't. The place is neat, country eclectic with a lot of hot dog and city related items, that was the deco. Small sitting area, not meant for huge groups. The dogs weren't part of a q quick serve recipe. They obviously had to prep parts of the fare. I had the Aimee dog and the Texas dog. Both were amazing. Aimee dog was bratwurst, looked steamed or boiled. Was gray and moist, not dry and charred from a grill or a pan. Skin still snapped when bite. Sauerkraut, bacon, grilled onions, and spicy mustard on top. Great taste!! Texas dog was a spicy dog, shredded cheese, grilled onions and jalapeños, topped with bbq sauce. This was a really good combo. My first thought was the bbq sauce may throw it off, but it's a light amount and doesn't distract, adds to the overall flavoring. Really good. Haven't had anything else yet, they all look good. I like a place with variety and goes off the list of normal fare. Definitely recommended."

Just like the name suggests :-)The menu has a lot of different types listed but I am going to guess that all taste almost the same. It's a good old burger without any fancy in house sauces. You get mayo and mustard and that's it. You can choose from many sides. My burger was cooked well as I like it but I guess some raw meat lovers might call it overcooked. Give this place a try!

Burger was made fresh to order. Was very delicious and can't wait to go back. My husband had the turkey burger and it was not dry and juicy. Service was excellent and fast. Friendly man who took our order. Sitting was nice, clean. We will definitely return to try other foods on the menu.

A quick update after my last visit. The Italian beef didn't impress me, so I tried the Chicago style hot dogs. It's certainly different from any hot dog I've had before. My first bite, I tasted nothing but that huge slice of pickle. I took the pickle off of both dogs and tried again. I loved them! The taste was great! I will definitely get the dogs again. And I'm going to give the Italian beef another try, but order different than last time. The fries, same as last time, need to be a little bit crispier. I don't especially like limp fries. Hooray for the hot dogs!

Buffalo burger is okay- wrangler burger is okay. Was looking forward to a memorable Texas Burger and definitely less than impressed. Have had better in chain restaurants. Definitely a tourist trap. Portions on sides are fine. My husband says he give his burger (wrangler) 8/10. Service was - BAD- 2/10. Had to ask waiter several times for mayo and ranch as he was too busy hanging out with the hostess to deliver what we asked for. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't return.

this place is more like a 3.5 out of 5 stars. This place is located inside a gas station. to be honest, one of the best burgers i've had in my life was at a gas station back when i was living in California. So don't let the location fool you. The reason i gave this place 3.5 is that the soda fountain was broken and the seats near the gambling machines were a bit dirty with some flies flying around. Anyways, we got curly fries and the junkyard burger. We also bought a bottle of soda from the store. The burger is massive and will definitely fill you up. It was an amalgamation of different items, but made the burger pretty delicious when put together. The curly fries is also a massive serving and we couldn't finish everything. they have some condiments near the cashier. (hot sauce, ketchup and mustard)PS: not sure why people like to gamble at the fake slot machines. you put in real money, but can't win real money. honestly, what's the point?!PPS: they have like 4-5 tables inside, and more outside on the patio.

I visited here today after reading about this place in Arlington Real Foodies Facebook group. I was not disappointed. The kraut dog was delicious and there were chopped fried onions in the sauerkraut. The French fries were freshly cooked. The place was kind of off the beaten track--I've lived in Arlington since 1991 and didn't know it was here, nestled in a quiet area of Little Road. My only suggestion is to sell smaller portions of the French fries as there was clearly 2-3 servings of fries on my plate and I had to throw some away. Next time, I'll bring a friend and we can share the fries. I will definitely go back. Price around $10 for the dog and French fries.

This is a pretty dope spot. I came in on at 8:20ish on a Tuesday. First thing I noticed when I walked in was that it was clean and it was really warm. It's a pretty nice spot and a lot more spacious than it looks. Crave has tvs that has different channels on. Pretty solid for game day for sure. They have a a solid assortment of draft beers. Couldn't find the alcohol list, but they had it showing your choice on the drafts.Service was great, and the people were cool. Overhead the manager's? Hospitality with a customer, so shout out to him. He was very personable. We got the chili cheese dog, Chicago dog, and brisket bowl. Pretty solid hot dogs. I never had a Chicago dog before but it was really good. Chili dog was alright. Brisket bowl has some really good flavors to itI think the only cons I can pick about is the credit surcharge and kinda wish the hot dog buns were grilled, but other than that, pretty nice joint!

"This is my second visit this week. I was invited on Monday to try it out with some friends and today my parents and brother were wanting to try it out. I love the decor and the ambience is so warm, nostalgic, and homey. There's a little display with different good quality souvenirs you can purchase. The first visit I ordered a chicken sandwich and fries with cheese dip. Oh my goodness, the fries are crinkle cut and fresh, hot, and crispy (not too salty but salty enough). The cheese sauce pairs perfectly with the fries. The spicy chicken sandwich was full of good flavor and not too spicy and freshly made. As for my visit today I ordered the rodeo burger. The patties is charbroiled with onion rings, bacon, cheese, and bbq sauce. It's a hearty burger with lots of flavor. I was impressed. As for the staff they are all super friendly and helpful and keep that place super clean. I am excited for my next visit."
"I've been to this location at least 15 times in the last few months. This restaurant is always clean and the staff is always nice and hospitable. The food is always hot The food is always fresh The cheesecake is always succulent The restrooms are always clean The staff is always smiling The staff is always neat (You can tell they take pride in customer service) Thanks Alma, Laura, & Brisa for making my day a pleasant one..!!!!!Good VibesGood Vibes"
"Burger box #1 Burger and bun were hot and fresh. Lettuce, pickles and tomato were cold and fresh. Definitely a good burger. Fries were hot and fresh with just the right amount of salt. Unsweet iced tea was fresh and tasted good. I'll be back and will bring the family."
"A quick stop in Fort Worth but vice made it worth it! The burger was delicious and the spiral fries and shake made it even better. Quick and kind service!"
"Burger box customer service was really good! I had a double turkey burger (don't recommend) cause the patties are huge! I wish I had known beforehand. The ladies there are so nice and you can tell they really want the customers to be happy. Food was made fresh! I also got the footlong chili dog and a regular chili dog. They were pretty good but I must admit the chili wasn't my favorite, however I will go back and try other options as well. The place is more like a traditional diner set up nothing major to say about decor. It's really a place just to get some good "junk" food eat it and go."
"The good: very clean location, lots of seating, easy to order, food came out fresh and hot.The bad: unless you're eating hotdogs or sausage, the menu is pretty awful. We had the fish sandwich and spicy chicken sandwich and felt like we wasted our money and calories. Probably the worst fish sandwich I have ever had and the chicken sandwich had the hubby feeling like we should've gone down Broad to another fast food chicken place. The fries were plain and unseasoned. No reason to come back, since we're not hot dog/pork people, but seems to be popular and well run, so hope they do well."
"Wow, talk about underrated I had a chicken sandwich and it was absolutely delicious Wife had a burger and was happy as wellPlace is clean, especially considering how packed it wasOur server was a bit frazzled, however she did a great job."
"I was in town on business and walked past the place one day after work. Went in and chatted with Chris and another employee. Great vibes and the rest was simple. Chris helped me place my order. The cheesesteak hotdog was the bomb!! Fries were crisp and seasoned, not wilted or soft."
"This is a 5 star burger place that unfortunately has a couple of things holding it back. The good:The food was great. The flavor of the burgers with the sauce and everything just went perfectly together. The buns were extremely soft and fluffy. I was extremely satisfied and if you want a solid burger you won't be upset. The bad:1. The burger patty was just too small, especially for the price. 2. The prices of everything were too high. $9 shakes, $12 burgers, $9 for a large fry (that tasted great) that wasn't a massive tray, $2.50 for an extra slice of cheese on your burger.3. They did not have tap water. Only bottled water for $1.50/each Honestly I could have seen myself giving them a 2 to 3 star but the food tasted so good it saved them. That being said, for me to frequent this place more than once every few months it will need to make some changes."
"We decided to give Archie's Garage a try on a cold, rainy afternoon. Initially, the parking situation was off-putting; the dirt/gravel lot might discourage some potential diners, especially in inclement weather. AG's should consider addressing this if they aim to attract more customers. The ambiance at Archie's is unique, set alongside an antique shop, filled with collectible race memorabilia which adds a quirky charm. However, the temperature inside was a concern; it was quite chilly, which might be equally warm in the summer, suggesting their climate control system might need to be addressed. On a positive note, we met the owner, who was genuinely nice and friendly. Hygiene was taken seriously, with visible cleaning using disinfectant wipes, which was reassuring.Food-wise, the burger was satisfactory but not remarkable. The fries came with a surprising seasoned salt, which was a nice touch. However, the Frito Pie was lukewarm, which, combined with the cold seating area, didn't help its appeal. The overall service left something to be desired. As more customers arrived, the flow of service became disorganized, especially when the owner, who seemed to be juggling multiple roles, including those outside of the dining area, was absent for 5-10 minutes. We saw a few enter, wait a few minutes and then just leave. And waiting 15-20 minutes for the check was frustrating, leading to an awkward self-service at the register.Overall, while there were some positive elements, the combination of a less than ideal parking situation, temperature issues, and service hiccups made our experience less than stellar. I'm not saying I wouldn't try them again, but I might try them solo first before I bring along friends."
"Do not go here I unless you are fully ready to blow your calories. But also know that it's one of the few calorie busting meals that's actually worth every single juicy, meaty, flavorful bite!"
"We have been to most Five Guys in DFW. love it! BUT this new location is very skimpy on the size of the party, the amount of lettuce, the amount of fries. As soon as I found out this franchise was finally in the area I live, I was ecstatic, then the experience was underwhelming. This place is too expensive for yall to be so damn skimpy. I will give them one more chance soon and if I experience this again, I will keep going to locations farther away. Please change this. Stop being cheap!!!"
