"Such a small mom and pop restaurant with a big heart.Start with a FLAMING Cheese Saganaki! Literally delicious! The pita is fresh and the cheese is creamy! (See pic)The best part of this place is they treat everyone so well! The customer service is fantastic. It helps that the food is delish, too.A special (dinner meal) comes with FOUR sides. F.O.U.R. not 2. So you will be full. Trust the process. Not sure if I got all the pics, but we had shrimp skewers, baked tilapia, and salmon (our party of 3. My only recommendation is for the green beans to be fresh... with the seasoning and way it is prepared, canned or frozen beans wither easily. I'm It's a little off the beaten path but easy to get to and a pleasure to enjoy!"
"I come here often and the food and service is always great. They have a big menu, I have tried several different dishes and they are all great. It is also super affordable , compared to other breakfast restaurants."

"This is now my go-to Greek restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and attentive service. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure every detail was perfect throughout my meal. I ordered the gyro platter, and it was absolutely fantastic--it reminded me of the delicious gyros I used to get back in Chicago. The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender, the tzatziki was fresh and tangy, and the pita was soft and warm. Every bite was a burst of authentic Greek flavors that transported me right back to the Mediterranean. The portions were generous, and everything tasted incredibly fresh, which made the experience even better. I would rate this place a 1000 out of 10 and can't wait to come back and try more dishes!"
"My husband and I tried this and really enjoyed it. The food was well seasoned and hot, the server was very attentive and it was nice and quiet."
"Quite unimpressed by this restaurant. My bf and I walked in on a weeknight. There were several takeout orders and two other tables. We ordered right away, two appetizers and two entrees. I enjoyed the calamari and the eggplant dip, the pita is soft and the bread service was nice too. The chicken souvlaki and mousaka are both good, especially the souvlaki. Sides are ok. The meal itself was not wow but priced right.I like the ambiance, it feels like a family restaurant. And the busser is a very nice woman.Coming from someone who has waited tables, I'm docking two stars because the big man host/waiter was not welcoming at all and seemed to have an attitude. Drop slid our plates in front of us like a diner would and walked off, did not acknowledge any time we said thanks, just seemed like he wanted to get off work early but the other tables stayed later than us (we were out by 8:50). Any other Greek restaurant is probably same food quality and price with nicer presentation and friendlier service."
"Once in a while, my wife and I crave for a good gyro. We came across this location and decided to try it. The place is small and narrow but the menu is brightly lite and they had a lot of specials advertised. We obviously had the gyro with just the lamb and added lettuce to it as it normally comes with tomatoes and pickles. I am not a fan of pickles and I have to limit my tomatoes consumption. I also ordered the falafel appetizer as I really enjoy a good falafel. The gyro sandwich was good. Very simple and to the point . The falafel was not that good at all. But I know finding good falafel is hard to find. Not a place I would try again but at least I know where to find a sort of decent gyro. For the price, you just got the gyro only but the combo comes with fries and a canned soda. For the value it was a bit much in my opinion."
"Best chicken shawarma in town, hands down. We went on a night when they had a live guitarist softly playing up front. This is a BYOB place that offers fresh, delicious food is an atmosphere that is comfortable but understated.Try the baba ghanoush, the lemon rice soup, and the chicken shawarma (duh)."
"This pizza is mediocre. Nothing special about the flavor at all. The customer service can be very rude sometimes. It's not a place I really care to return to for lunch, but I might try a pasta dish next time. The pizza just isn't good enough to desire again. I also might give the caesar salad a try, as I've heard it's pretty good here. The pizzas are large, though.. but they come with a price, just like everything at this hospital."
"This might be one of DFW's best kept secrets. It's tucked away in a small shopping plaza off of Hall-Johnson/121 with plenty of parking available and very reasonable prices.Walk in and look at the expansive menu, which is essentially broken down into different variations of plates, kabobs, platters, and sandwiches. Order up and sit at one of the available tables/booths. What we got: Gyro sandwich contains plenty of nicely flavored gyro meat, veggies, and a warm, soft pita. We've tried the kofta kabobs, chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, and you just can't go wrongThe guys running this place (or at least always at the counter/preparing the food) are always super nice and patient. Shout out to them for always maintaining a positive attitude, whether its during a chaotic day or a slow day.Note: This place can get busy, so you may not have any luck calling in your orders and/or you may have to wait a little bit, but it's worth it!"
"Imagine your favorite cafeteria line, only Mediterranean and it's meat and three, and that's my best description of Fadi's. Located in a busy newish plaza, I was totally unprepared for the wonders inside. I chose baba ganoush, Greek salad, and root vegetables paired with a sauced chicken and the whole thing was amazing. I realized too late I probably should have chose falafel because that's something I don't get at home; or just all veggie sides because they were so amazing. I also failed to add a dessert to take home, but now I have a plan for the next time I am in Dallas, right?I consider this a must-visit."
"The service was amazing. The moment we arrived we were greeted with warm smiles that felt so genuine. All of our questions were answered with patience. Jon was so amazingly nice and courteous. We ordered to go.Lamb shank: tender and savory with rice and eggplant. It was very tasty and not a drop was left behind.Four kebab: each were so tender and not a bit dry. Each very flavorful and even my very picky daughter ate it up. The salad lightly seasoned and fresh. Eggplant: very well seasoned and hit home. It was very nostalgic for me and reminded me of when I was little eating something so similar that made me smile with every bite.Dolma: just the right amount of flavoring and with every bite bursts with flavor. Was the right texture.Turkish tea: so light and not bitter. Very refreshing even on a hot day.Loved coming here by just the great aura Jon and staff gave. So warm and made you feel right at home. The food is great and has me craving for more! The ambiance is just amazing! Thank you again for making my day!"
"When I'm eating Mediterranean food, I'm always gonna have fresh produce on my plate. Whether I'm ordering a shawarma plate or falafel or lentil soup or hummus, I need something crisp and raw with it! A Greek salad. A little side salad. Pickled veggies. Tomato and cucumber slices. Lettuce and carrots and onions. You know how it is. And the freshness of the produce is pretty important. A couple times we've ordered from Gyros to Go and the produce has been colorless, limp, and watery. I'm not expecting picture perfect, ultra-radiant veggies or anything, just a little color and crunch! Besides the bland produce and the to-go orders being a little messily and loosely packed in styrofoam containers, we've enjoyed the food and prices here. The chicken and beef shawarma and the gyro meat are all so well seasoned and delicious. Jon loves the garlic fries. The hummus is a great texture. Quick delivery!"

First time here, came in for a late lunch. Place was empty, but slowly people came in and most were take out orders. Our food came last even though we were there before the other two tables. The gyro was delicious and the Greek potatoes were a first for us...healthier option than fries. The only thing missing was some hot sauce/chili. I will definitely come back, I am surprised I hadn't found or tried this place before! But I guess the name doesn't help it's identity as a Greek spot.

We have always had great food and great service at Chubby's. I ordered the chicken parmesan this last time, and it was so good! The dining room is pretty clean, and there has never been a wait for dinner during the week. We will be back.

I won't lie, I didn't have high hopes for a Greek place in a shopping center but I was looking for a healthy lunch and figured it was worth a shot. I'm glad I went in!I got the gyros salad. It was a hefty meal, full of fresh vegetables, tender gyro meat, and a creamy tzatziki. I left incredibly full and more importantly, satisfied. The service was fast and attentive. If I lived in the area I'd come back to try the rest of the menu.

Cafe Medi is cozy yet spacious. It's located in the heart of old town keller. After perusing the reviews, I got the chicken schwarma sandwich and upgraded my order to include the small lemon rice soup. The order came with a bag of pita bread and garlic sauce. The prices are on par with other Mediterranean places. When I came to pick up my order, I was greeted quickly and given my order quickly. The lemon rice soup was bursting with flavor and paired well with the pita bread and garlic sauce. The chicken schwarma sandwich was delicious as well.

The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. The services provided by the professional management and staff are the main reasons that we keep coming back. The old world elegance is a rare thing, and we value their focus to make sure that everything about the dining experience is excellent. I highly recomend this restaurant.

The food was very delicious and extremely affordable. We took it to go and it was ready in 15 minutes, quick. It's not a place for big crowds, but it's definitely delicious food and unique from other Mediterranean places. The greek salad is something I'm usually picky about but they had more than enough toppings and dressing. Would eat there again :)

Walked right in and was seated for a party of 1! The ambiance was very nice. Christmas music playing in the background. Quiet enough to hear it. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Food: I ordered a few items for myself... tried the appetizer with 3 sides- hummus, tzatziki, and babaganoush with pita bread. The only one for me was the hummus. For my entree I ordered the beef swarma plate and upgraded my salad to a Greek salad for $3.95 extra. It came with green beans and rice as well. $17.95. Service was great. The owner, Matbolli ( I think that's how you spell it), came and made his rounds at tables and asked how everyone's experience was going. I told him my meat was a little over cooked and he brought me another order of medium cooked beef! That meat was PERFECT! IN ALL HAD A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE.

I come from a place where Greek / Mediterranean food is really popular. With that being said, this is one of the best Gyros I've had. The tzatziki is homemade and the other ingredients are of great quality. Gotta try it!

"This is my second time having Plaka's Greek Kitchen and it is definitely some of the best Greek food I've ever had. Their Gyro Wraps are amazing and so is the Falafel and hummus. Also want to mention the owner is extremely nice and provides excellent customer service. I highly recommend them!"
"The HUMUS is HITTING!! 5 stars for the Humus alone. I will try humus at restaurants but usually I am not a fan. I just spent the ride home thinking about this humus, when will we go again and what size should I order on the next visit. It truly was some of the best I've ever tasted. You get a little side order of it when you get a plate. We ordered way too much food to begin with so I stuck with what I got. The hummus homemade, I verified that. Ok the rest of the food. I got the Chicken plate that came with grilled chicken, seasoned rice, HUMUS, side salad with dressing and 4 slices of pita bread. The chicken and bread were solid. The rice was pretty dang good fluffy with an excellent flavor. Besides the top dog Humus on the plate this side salad was really good. Fresh everything with a nice dressing. Again, usually I'll just pick at a side salad, respect your body, but I ate all of this one. Double chefs kiss for the Humus & side salad. I will be back to try more!"
"Everything I've tried has been great. The service is also top notch. You should add them to your list of places to visit."
"Pak A Pocket has been around since 1986 for a good reason - the food is high quality- fresh and delicious. It brings back memories of the insurance company I worked at right out of high school in..... - - wait for it... 1986! It was one of the only places around to snag lunch and we weren't mad about it. Not much has changed since - except for an occasional price increase - but who can blame them. Liz is still around to greet customers with a smile and the Wednesday special is still the taco Pocket - my favorite. If you haven't dropped by I highly recommend that you check it. Parking can be challenging during the lunch hour but the worst case scenario would be parking at the Valero. Best is to visit before noon or after 1:30."
"Having dined at Spitz numerous times when visiting the Minneapolis area, I was completely unaware that a couple of locations have opened in the DFW area. Once I discovered this, I quickly made plans to stop by for some delicious eats. Per the staff, this location opened a little over 6 months ago. For those who are unaware, as I was told by staff at location in Minneapolis, the best description of the menu at Spitz is 'Mediterranean Street Food'. Whatever way one decides to describe it, just know it contains lots of delicious eats. The Spitz menu consists of wraps, salads, gyros, wings, etc. All meats are halal certified and they have a vegan menu plus gluten-free options. Similar to the Minneapolis location, this one also contains a bar consisting of cocktails, wine, sangria, and numerous beer options. This location has indoor seating that consists of table/chair setups plus bar seating. Weather permitting, there are also table/chair setups, outside on the sidewalk patio. The outdoor area is dog-friendly. As for decor, there are there are splashes of bright colors along with a few murals throughout the space which just helps enhance the laid back feeling. There are two restrooms which are not gender specific. This location is part of a fairly new strip mall and has plenty of parking in the shared lot. On my first visit to this location, I went during 'off-hours' so upon arriving I was the only customer. I placed my order at the bar (I ordered my favorite item, the Street Cart Doner wrap with beef and lamb wrap), was given a card to put at the table so they know where to deliver which order. After paying, I chose a table and waited for my food to be prepared and brought to the table. As it was my first time at this location, the staff assured me wrap would be as delicious as I remembered from the Minneapolis location.Speaking of staff, everyone was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu. Add to that, they exhibited a great deal of pride in what they were doing along with the brand. After a short wait, my order was brought to the table and it was everything I remembered. In addition to being super tasty, it was also very filling and it took me back to my first visit to the Minneapolis location. The only thing missing was a mural of Prince. Going forward, this Spitz location will be in my rotation of fast-casual healthy eats."
"I loved this place! Love the concept, the service and food! In particularly the food, fresh, amazingly tasty, large portions, great experience! The restaurant is casual with semi-self-serving; you select your choice of meal at the entrance, salad, sandwich or platter. The platter comes with choice of 1 meat and up to 4 sides. Their prices are affordable, $10.99 to $18.99.As you enter, you encounter the menu printed in large, colorful print on the wall; the flow of the restaurant is circular counter with the fresh pita bread being the second encounter here. At this point, I am 100% hooked! If you look towards the back of the fresh pita offerings. you can see the oven where these magnificent breads are being baked! Oh my! What a perk! All platters, come with 2 pita breads! As you proceed down the counter, you can see the appetizer section, followed by the side choices, and finally the meat selection choices. Almost at the payment section at the end, there are some desserts and freshly baked offerings. The whole place was like a candy store but with delicious Mediterranee food! Amazing! You give your meal selections to the server, who will place the side dishes together on your plate, while the meat is served separately. This particular evening, I chose 1 meat platter with 4 sides! What can I say... I wanted to try it all in one sitting! My platter consisted of hummus, falafel salad, crisp cauliflower, rice, and chicken. I loved it! The portion for me was enough for 2 meals. I had leftovers for the next day! Loved Andalous Mediterranean Grill!"
"It was decent, I thought that the Greek fries were generously topped and the gyros were on par. I prefer this to Wayback Burger, which is the lunch spot inside the gas station."
"Was in the area with a friend and was looking for a place to grab a bite after a day of moving, and found Stop-n-Go. It's an inviting, casual space, which had a steady stream of customers collecting to-go orders when we dined. No surprises on the menu, everything was fairly standard but well made and tasted fresh. No complaints about anything we tried, which in my case was a shared appetizer of dolmas and greek fries, and a gyro plate that I took home with me. Overall, great fast casual spot, with fresh flavorful food."
"So damn good. Food is better here than austin. Fadi and his guys were super nice and recommended what should get. It was great especially the garlic fries. I'll be back!"
"Was out of town on a work trip and was craving a gyro. So went to Yelp and Stop-N-Go popped up.It's a 8 out of 10 all around . Nice and polite employees but good luck on parking. It's worth the value to cost"
"This place is fantastic. They went over the top for us when we dined in earlier this month. We each ordered and entree and drink. And was given hummus/pita and fries complimentary!!! I don't know if it was because we shared it was it our first time there or if it was because we were dining in or just because it was later on the evening. Either way, without that... the portion sizes were plenty!! The food was delish and the guys were friendly and on top of it. I went to ask for to go containers and they were already walking out with them for us! We will definitely return!"
"Wow. Seriously tasty and fresh. Way bett3r than expected...and friendly service! This gem is located on Rufe Snow. I hit the drive-thru and order3d their 1/4 pounder with cheese meal. I traded the fries for onion rings. My diet coke was HUUUuuuuGE....and was even better than McDonald's fountain drinks! Truth! The burger was really good and held fresh veggies. The onion rings needed a little salt, but oh so good. I went through the drive thru, so the ambiance was minimal...but i love seeing Tex with the big yellow star. Did I mention the soft delicious bun?! So good!"
"Friday night dinner around 6:30p with family. Walked in, pleasantly welcomed by staff, and entered the line to order. Everything looked delicious. I decided on the 1 meat and two side plate. It comes with 2 pita. Pita is being made right there, fresh. It's so good!! Dining area was nice and clean. Plenty of seating and we were checked on. No complaints about anything! 4 meals of the 1 meat/2 side plus drinks and tip was less than $80. Not bad considering the amount and quality of the food."
"This place is a classic! I came here over 20 years ago regularly and was so excited to still see it here when I came back to visit family. Wonderful, friendly service! The food is still tasty! Comes out hot and fresh with perfect fries. And don't forget to save room for the baklava!"
"Been to this place multiple times times. Great Mediterranean food! Great service from staff. They offer complimentary bread for starter. You can enjoy your meal in a great ambiance."
"Intimate setting, bright but still cozy. A superb and varied menu is easily vegan or vegetarian adaptable. We requested a vegetarian tray and not only was it artfully displayed, it was delicious! Our servers were attentive, but did not hover. A wonderful lunch, evening or special occasion place."
"I love chicken shawarmas so my husband and I wanted to stop by and give this location a try, it did not disappoint. Walking in, we were greeted by the friendly staff and ordered our food which came out super delicious!! We also tried the cheesecake it was so good too. The place is small but very clean and pretty busy too. Only reason for the four stars is the homemade red sauce( I asked for red spicy sauce) I wish it was actually spicy and not as salty and the fries were a bit too seasoned but it was a great experience overall!"
"Man, oh, man. Feta's always delivers great food. It is so very good and you can tell they do not cut corners on the quality of ingredients. Everything is fresh and homemade! My hubby and I split the gyro, french fries and some dolmas. God, I love tzatziki! They make it the right way. The fries stay crispy. They make the dolmas too! Chewy grape leaves filled with lemony rice and spices.Well? What are you waiting for? Go there. Get some. Life is too short for boring food!"
"Sahara is the epitome of never judge a book by its cover, because based on the area it's located in it's easy to feel reluctant to want to dine in. Once inside though all of your worries wash away & are met with inviting staff and comforting decor. What's cool about Sahara is that it's both a restaurant and a market, so you can shop authentic Persian/Iranian produce while you dine in or wait for your to go order. Today I tried their $15 lunch special, which comes with your choice of protein - rice or salad & two sides. Everything was made to order and fresh, was well seasoned and well proportioned. I have no complaints. I was also finally able to try some potato tahdig, which was a highlight for me because a lot of middle eastern places in the DFW metroplex don't serve it to guests. If you're in the area, give Sahara a go."
"Looking for something fresh and light, we found this place on YELP!(Always best to eat before the Costco run!). What I couldn't believe was this place has been here 5 years, almost 250 reviews, and I still hadn't heard of it! That's a real #hiddengem right there! There was only one lady working, and I felt she might've been the owner. She cooked, she cleaned, she served, and she smiled-- A LOT! And watching her knife skills on the gyro cone was impressive!I cannot say if this is Halal or not, but there are vegan and vegetarian options here!We started with the appetizer sampler: 4 dolmas, 4 spanakopita, 3 falafel, black olives, hummus, tsaziki, and pita bread! Plenty for 2-3 to share! The gyro was mounded high with meat, and full of veggies! Highly flavored, and delicious! The pita was hot and delicious!Of course, we had to end with baklava. This redeems most of the sadness I've experienced inthe baklava world! Full of nuts, with phyllo puffed high, and tons of high flavored honey! I doubt I'll eat baklava anywhere else, ever again!Easy 5 stars for great food, and great service!"
"Generous portions.Decent prices. Clean location. Fries were a little dry though they were seasoned well. Next time I'll ask to cook my falafel longer so inside isn't mushy."
"Decided to check this j place out for dinner before some relaxing at turning Point brewery down the road.. Can you ever go wrong with authentic Lebanese Mediterranean food?? I love this family owned BYOB café we had the baby ganache and the Awadi dip They were both very tasty and generous size portions prices here are very reasonable many options to choose from even some cool non alcoholic drinks.I had a Gyro sandwich my husband had a lamb shank came with salad and rice I was so stuffed I couldn't even finish my entire sandwich or the appetizer. The waiter said they had been there 12 years - my bad for never checking them out before! Don't be like me and wait that long!!"
"What an amazing Gem, very cute place, perfect ambiance, they have great local wines from Turkey, perfect little casual Date night or during the week.We ordered the hummas that came with turkish bread fresh out of the oven, the hummas was amazing. We ordered the Iskendar Kebab (bread gyro smothered with red sauce, very fresh flavors, and served with plain yogurt in the side) super yummy. My absolute favorite was the Moussaka ( egplant was amazing with layers of potatoes and beef served with delicious rice.We ordered the Turkish tea and the kunefe for desert OMG it was so good, I am so coming back for more! Narjes (hope I spelled your name right) Gave us excellent service - Thank you! I will definitely be back, keep up the amazing work!"
