"Very impressed with the chicken wings, well seasoned and taste great. Went for lunch so not much of a wait, they cook the food fresh. We'll definitely be back to try the catfish."
"Nothing I love more than a good hole in the wall spot, and this place is the embodiment of that. The people, so sweet and helpful. The food, insane. My fiance and I recommend this place to all of our friends. It feels like we go here every weekend! You will not be disappointed if you stop by."

"Wings: 5/5 (The bone-out wings are real dark meat chicken, not processed crap!)Sauces 5/5 (I tried the caribbean jerk & island heat sauces and both were expertly crafted)Potato Chips 5/5 (Very good although I'm not a potato eater so i'll stick to the wings)This is the best food i've ever received from a food truck... Generally speaking, I find most food trucks to be lacking in quality but that's not a problem here."
"I been meaning to stop and try this truck for a while and they did not disappoint! The ribs was fall off the bone, chopped brisket sandwich, brisket nachos all were on point! They have so much more on the menu to try. The customer service is amazing and they truly put their heart in their food. I will be sure to consider them for our next catering event!"
"Support your local food trucks!! This taco truck exceeded all expectations. Tortillas were perfection. I loved my tacos de pastor. I liked the green salsa with the pastor. Husband loved his chicken tacos. The asada supreme fries were too good to resist and I'm glad we got them. There are a couple picnic tables on site which we enjoyed for our taco Tuesday date al fresco."
"Some know how to fry chicken and some absolutely DO NOT. Chicken Heads- DOES! I'm addicted to the crunch.. I thought I was going to taste something spectacular in the chicken being that it's Cajun but it just tasted like regular fried chicken to me. The chicken was juicy, seasoned very well.. and the wings were a good size. I got a side of the smoked Jambalaya which was good, definitely tasted the smokiness of it however it was a little dry for my liking- this is the only reason I gave 4 stars.I will be back to try the other sides as the other review said the corn was good. Imma always support!!"
"They have delicious Latin cuisine coming out of this food truck! Yay!The churrasco is tender and scrumptious. Don't forget to add homemade plaintain chips with keymayo sauce! The sauce is totally drinkable!"
"I brought my work team of 5 here to commemorate Black History Month through our support of a local, black-owned business. We didn't have an issue with service being slow like some of the other reviews mention. We had a wonderful experience at lunchtime on a Wednesday. The restaurant was near empty. The waitress sat us quickly and brought us carafes to refill our waters. Background music was great and the perfect audio level for weekday lunch. We got a free appetizer of the corn muffins with honey butter, which are just so delicious. And lunch itself was yummy. My gumbo was a little saltier and spicier than my personal preference but the sweet cornbread muffins balanced it out for me. The gumbo was served with dirty rice, also yummy The team also ordered the hot chicken sandwich and the fried catfish meal. Servings were generous and everyone really loved their dishes. We were out the door maybe by 1:15pm? So total dining time of about an hour. It was totally within timeliness expectations for a corporate lunch hour. Don't hesitate, and check out Southern Gourmet Kitchen if you're in the area!"
"Don't r as this book by its cover, Best darn shrimp and crawfish, seasoned and cooked we have ever had. Small market with a few tables but can have cooked and bring home too. Is now our go to place for seafood.Great friendly service too."
"Update:I stopped by on 1-11-2025 and the delicious bistec-asada tacos are still so delicious and the bomb. Still so flavorful and the best authentic tacos with the salsas, grilled onions, and jalapeño that I remember from my first visit. Everything from ordering, wait time, food, and customer service was exceptional The owner Don Ramon is friendly, and attentive and ensures his customers have a great experience. Sughey was very welcoming, and friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I had an amazing experience again which shows their consistency in food as well as customer service. If you still haven't tried their delicious tacos I highly recommend you give them a try. My friend was raving about this taco spot. I made a trip from CA to see what the hype is all about. For starters the customer service was amazing. They were so friendly patient, and attentive, and I felt as if the owner and staff members treated me as family. It was a great environment. I had a total of 8 Bistek tacos. I lathered those delicious tacos in their green homemade hot sauceI also had a green chili on my second round of tacos and I felt the burn but still good nonetheless. These tacosare authentic Mexicantacos for sure. It's hard to findauthentic Mexican food, especially here in Texas. Check this place out and you won't regret it. I have postedsome pictures. Oh, and the hype was legit. These tacos wereworth the hype and the trip."
"I am so glad that Lola's has finally gotten a brick and mortar! We came here last week and ordered the pork, chicken, stuffed plantains, and beans, along with mango juice, a cubalibre, and a mojito and all were delicious."
"Would do 4.5 because the to-go order didn't have the 2 tacos.Ordered 2 meat (brisket/rib), potato salad and Mac and cheese was more than enough for my wife and I. Both meats were outstanding. Mac and Cheese is good. Potato salad is different from "traditional", but I good different. Definitely going back. Will check order before leaving next time.Cool atmosphere. Look forward to eating there.Staff was very nice. Better IMO than other BBQ in area."

Walking around the various food truck options, and thought Cajun is always a good choice. Well, I was not disappointed!Tried the jambalaya and catfish with their signature sauce, it was fantastic. I like my food with larger chunks of vegetables, and the rice with onions and sausage was awesome, not fine chopped onions, but real sized you can see and enjoy. The flavor, give it a 9, I just wish it was spicier. But, I like HOT food, so it is very satisfying. Come hungry, it's a good sized portion The catfish was seasoned well, light batter with enough crisp to enjoy, but not overpowering. Fried to perfection, and able to cut with a fork. Definitely be back to try more, it's that good.

Late night hunger strikes. And so does the need for drinks and conversations with friends after long days. My friends and I will pop up to the Tail Feathers truck, put in our order then head over to Abbey's for Jamesons and beer. The food sometimes will take a while since it is one guy running the truck who also delivers to the bar you're at (within the area, of course). The food is so good. I always get their spiciest and my friends will venture and try their other options. The wings are packed with flavor. Don't forget their potatoes; that's the best thing about them. Not sure how they cook them, but they're sliced like coins and crispy. Extra ranch please (because I like my chicken and potatoes with my ranch).

Its tough to be a BBQ establishment in a place like Texas where everyone has their own opinion of what good BBQ should be like. I tried this little food truck at the Truck Yard thinking it was a safe bet. I went to place my order and there were some kids manning the truck. It seemed as if mommy and daddy were trying to pass down some responsibility but they were not in right mind frame. They were so confused. The guy serving my plate couldn't find the serving spoon and they were all giggling unable to process a simple one plate order. Took them forever. Once I got my plate I opened it and it was laughable at how miniscule these ribs were. ~Dont want no itty bitty teeeny weenie short~...My sides were baked beans and potato salad and let me tell you I could swim in those beans! They were probably the best baked beans I have ever had. The potato salad was also quite delicious. Maybe next time I'll just order sides.

Stopped by here on a whim after work. It's tucked away and well worth the small effort to park on gravel. My boyfriend and I love birria and this was no exception! I was so pleasantly surprised by how crispy the quesabirria was when I got home, especially because home is about 20 minutes away. By far the best consome I've had so far as well

So, I've seen the trailer on Rosedale, in the parking lot of Dollar General, several times on trips over to the southside, and got curious about it so I started searching. Saw nothing but good things so figured I would try it next time I got a chance.I think they stay open from 6-9. I ordered the dime piece special. Six wings and one side, I got the Zydeco cajun pasta, and wanted to try the fries so I ordered some of those. It was about a ten minute wait, I got my stuff and headed to the house.Just a TLDR, everything was pretty damn good. I agree that the chicken didn't have what I would call a cajun seasoning to it, but it was seasoned perfect and it was fried perfect. Great crunch, great flavor. I think they threw an extra wing in there and I still ate every one. I was gonna save a couple for lunch the next day but I couldn't help it. Great fried chicken, and the sizes are pretty big.The pasta did have a cajun twist to it, plenty of crawfish, and although I coulda used a little more spiciness, it was really good. I ate about half of it and the rest for lunch the next day and it tasted even better. The fries had a good seasoning to them, but I wish they would've been cooked a little more. They were a little to soft for me, but I still ate what I could handle. The servings for the pasta and fries were what I consider pretty good portions. Last thing in the combo was a can soda. Everything was $20, a great deal on this stuff. They have different specials. The Zydeco pasta was the special when I went, and I know to get whatever is on special. I'll be going back to get some of that great chicken and whatever else is on special. I kept check on when they are open on Facebook. They are good about keeping current on hours and locations.

While, I would come back just for the playlist, but, let's talk about the food. The menu boasts all the southern favorites you could crave, from creamy mac n cheese to sweet candied yams and crispy fried green tomatoes. There is truly something on the menu for everyone. While I wasn't a fan of the crab cakes, I cannot recommend the Southern egg rolls enough! They are crispy, well-seasoned, and served with the tangiest sauce. The wait staff adds to the experience; we had nothing but, polite and attentive service. They're always ready to assist with a smile, making you feel right at home. But, the wait for food is something serious -- expect upwards of at least an hour, even on a slow day/time. But again, I'd come back just for the playlist/experience.

"I came to this truck because of instagram! It was pretty good! I got the birria queso tacos and it was so savory! Waiting was bad, considering I came on 7pm on a Friday night. I'll definitely come back whenever I'm in the area."
"This place I'm telling you is one of my favorite tacos trucks. It takes a minute to get your food cause it's fresh made so it's all worth it.My favorite is the Pastor on corn tortillas with all the hot sauce and onions. The Carne Asada is good too, a little dry this last time but usually just perfect. It's a little taco truck next to a Mexican restaurant so if your looking for some tacos but don't feel like sitting down for a meal it's a great pick up and go spot. I'll be back for sure."
"percent recommend this place. I've only been on taco Tuesday for their $1.50 Al pastor tacos but if that's the preview to all the other delicious options I can't wait to go back. My next thing will be the pizza which I've heard is very good. Can't wait! Enjoy!"
"BEST SERVICE BEST FOOD BEST BEST BEST. They accommodated my gluten preference, brought unsweet tea for me. They served 50 of us for a conference. Local family business. I couldn't write enough nice things to describe how I would always always always book them, and stop by when I am in town. My client was there with me, literally born in Sicily...LOVED their food. Meatballs...just wow, loaded fries, the sausage was insane good, but the eggplant and chicken parm...I can't explain HOW out of this world good it was and I am an excellent cook. I am almost glad I don't live in this state they are in bc I would gain 30 lbs quick!!! BOOK THEM."
"Spotted at Rahr & Sons Brewery! Tried the number four gyro wrap (all beef) with fries and the Turkish Texan salad with brisket. Tasty, fresh food. I liked that there was lots of greens in the wrap and the salad. Neither entree felt too heavy nor greasy. Also really nice customer service! Check in on Yelp and get a free side of fries."
"Always the best brisket hands down! I won't go any where else for BBQ, absolutely amazing and worth it!"
"Best tacos and everything Mexican in a truck! They are sooooooo nice and always so accommodating! And super fast and they also never cheat you on the meat! They put a lot of meat in their tacos for sure! And it's real Mexican tacos! I personally love the lengua and my husband prefer their carnitas! And our son loves the asada! But to be honest cannot go wrong with any kind of meat w them! I'm tired of eating Tex-Mex! I think it's bullshit! If you can't cook real authentic Mexican food then don't call it Mexican! What the heck is Tex-Mex; I think it's fake Mexican! So.. if you want real Mexican food come to this food truck for sure! I also love their Milanesa tortas! It's freaking delicious!!!! Call it in if you decided to order as sometimes they can get super busy!! Keep it up guys! Cheers!"
"Husband and I just ordered two milk teas, one black w/ boba and one oolong w/out boba. Both are fantastic! The boba is good (isn't tough, doesn't taste old). The tea isn't overly sweet. We will definitely be back!"
"The tacos & elote are DELICIOUS. This is my go to taco truck. They are open late & if there is a wait it is super quick. The food is always on point. I've had the al pastor, barbacoa, and pollo (I couldnt choose a favorite cause they're all that gooood). Also try the Pina Agua and Horchata, it's a large cup so you could share but honestly it's so good you will want your own."
"After reading the reviews I had to try this place, and WOW, did it live up to the reviews!!! I tried the noodle bowl with chicken and the VF fries with chicken. Let's just say..... both were demolished in minutes. The flavor was amazing, however I do wish the serving size was bigger. I'll definitely be back."
"This food truck has been posted up on Crowley Road for months. It's parked in front of a tattoo shop and a bar. I pass by it everyday taking my kids to school. Finally, I decided to stop. They have $1.50 tacos, tortas, gorditas, burritos, and quesadillas. Asada, barbacoa, pollo, pastor, chicharron, and chorizo. I stopped and got 4 tacos; 2 asada, barbacoa, and chicharron. Cilantro and onions on top. I loved them all they were delicious. The green sauce that comes with it was good.Delicious, cheap, and 5 minutes from my house! They are open 8:30 am-9 Mondays, Tues-Sat close at 9:30 and Sundays they are closed. Cash or card, but charge $2 for cards."
"Legit BBQ place.Food was super delicious, one of the best Mac and cheese I had.Brisket and ribs are on point. Was not a fan of the dry seasoning, made it salty, so will probably ask next time to not have it seasoned. We will be back"
"I've passed by this taco truck so often but I've finally gotten the chance to stop by! They offer a range of tacos and aguas frescas. We ordered azada, buche, adobada, and desebrada tacos. I found the asada to be quite dry but the other tacos were very good and flavorful. My only complaint is that the tortillas were a bit too hard and the chiles weren't spicy. The salsa on the other hand takes a minute to get to you but is very hot.Overall this taco truck gets a lot of visitors and I can see why they come back. I recommend the desebrada (shredded beef) taco."
"Biscuits and gravy are one of my favorite breakfast items and Flat Top's version was so tasty. I look forward to trying their other options.Service was fast and friendly. Watch their Facebook to find the truck's schedule; looks like they are mainly in Tarrant County."
"I've been wanting to try touch of toast for a while and it was well worth the wait. I ordered the double traditional, which is essentially a cheeseburger on toast but MAN it was delicious. It was juicy and flavorful and quite frankly everything you'd want in a burger. The service was 10/10 and our food came out pretty quick. Overall, I definitely recommend to anyone who is able to get their hands on any of their food"
"Seriously some of the best bbq I have ever eaten... Reached out for catering for 3 people, received a quick response and was very friendly and easy to pick up my food. No brick and mortar location currently but trust me this is worth the drive to get catered. Support local and give Jacked Up BBQ your business!!!I ordered: Ribs, Pulled Pork, and Brisket Sides: Mac & Cheese, BBQ beans, and Cheesy Cream CornEverything was so tender, the ribs fell off the bone, and all the sides tasted like amazing. Also for once in my life I did not need any BBQ sauce to eat with my meal - perfectly seasoned and made with love Fun fact: Jacked Up BBQ was 2019 Lonestar BBQ Society Champion, and the 2018 State Fair of Texas BBQ champion"
"My favorite is the brisket mac n cheese!!! Love this little family ran bbq spot! Service is always great and they have reasonable prices."
"Tried them out today and was really impressed. My food came in under 10 minutes and tasted amazing. I had their burger and homemade fries, and they did not disappoint. The burger was full of flavor, and the fries were fresh, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. Definitely coming back to see what else is on the menu"
"Love this food truck and it is even better when they show up at your work, and work buys you lunch!I ordered the Butcher's 3-way, which is three sliders of your choice. I got one that was a meatball with mozzarella, one that was chicken breast with mashed potatoes and gravy, and one that was brisket with macaroni and cheese. All three were delicious!I was also amazed that they were so quick for as busy as they were. It took less than 6 or 7 minutes for me to get me food. How does one rate ambiance at a food truck? Hard to say other than the surrounding area of their food truck had a good vibe of happy people eating great food!"
"This is my second time having Plaka's Greek Kitchen and it is definitely some of the best Greek food I've ever had. Their Gyro Wraps are amazing and so is the Falafel and hummus. Also want to mention the owner is extremely nice and provides excellent customer service. I highly recommend them!"
"Ordered 3 barbacoa tacos 3 pastor tacos an 4 of the birria tacos that come with the dipping sauce. Total was 22 bucks they also tack on a fee for using credit cards but no worries the food was excellent I absolutely recommend the barbacoa tacos they were by far the star of the show"
"I'm from Los Angeles and this is real Mexican food! I had their breakfast burrito, chorizo, and egg and their taco plate. I tried one of each Asada, El, Pastor and Carnitas. The Carnitas is unbelievable.! I love the fact they run it like a real restaurant. You sit down and get waited on or you can just pick your food up to go. The servers were amazing and very attentive. Our waitress even offered to help back up our morning coffee. Good luck finding that type of customer service in Los Angeles. Lol JAMES Redondo, Beach, California"
"This is a cool little place, it's basically a trailer out in the middle of the country, and they have dang good burgers! I hate that they don't have french fries, because this burger would be so good with fries, they also do not have a fountain machine, they have a ice chest full of soda. Not ideal but again, the burger is the bomb. The burger is pricey, but worth it, I recommend this place and will be returning."
