"Good street tacos at a reasonable price! Their salsas are flavorful and got some heat to them. I like them both the green is a thicker salsa and the red pours easy on your tacos. Both of them pair well with whatever you order. They provide you with 2 salsas one of each with your order. I ordered 3 tacos and got two salsas. Today I ordered 6 tacos and asked for more than the two they provided. So he charged me .50 cents for each extra salsa I ordered! I don't mind paying for the extras as long as I can get what I want! But I believe it's reasonable to assume that the more tacos you ordered you would get a couple of more salsa's with the order? I do understand a small business watching the controls as some customers would take as much as they can get for free! I'm just a person who really likes my Mexican food to be drenched in salsa! I normally use one container per taco if I'm able to get it? Sometimes it's a hit and miss? But like I said I don't mind the extra charges for the salsa cups I wanted! I just think two cups is just not enough for 6 tacos and this time it was hard to pay that price! He did give me the taco Tuesday prices but by the time I paid for the extra salsa it made it regular price so I guess I save $2 so that's somethingGo check them out they i'm at dialysis have a drive thru and are fairly quick with the orders and I've like everything I've tried so far! Just keep in mind the extra charge for the salsa as it's posted on the menu board as well"
"tried the onion rings and they were delicious! it's a large serving and i had plenty left over to reheat in the air fryer the next day. they have a drive thru and the ordering process was simple, the guy who took my order was nice and they were really fast even though they made my order fresh."

"Best breakfast in town!Eggs are awesome and are cooked as ordered. Hash browns cooked right. Only thing was the honey, it kinda tasted weird."
"Old school diner type cafe...no frills, but the counter employee was friendly and I'm excited to see if the food lives up to the reviews. FYI - You order at the counter before finding your seat. Food was very good. Bacon was crispy and the potatoes were well seasoned. No complaints at all and would repeat."
"DO NOT COME HERE. When I got here, I SPECIFICALLY asked the door person if there is free seating. He said yes and pointed to the wood tables. Said they were free all night. I told him I have an injured hip, so was he sure we could sit there all night and watch the fight. He assured us yes. We ordered food and drinks and was celebrating my mother's birthday day. We were one fight away from the main card and a guy comes over saying they sold our table for $500 and we had to get up and move. UMMMM WHAT. I told them we were specially told we could sit here all night and the table was free. He goes to say that they can sell the table at any given time throughout the night. UMM WHAT. So why wasn't that mentioned. Not only that - There was another wooden table top across from us with caucasians, including men, but they sell the table with black females only. Hmmmmm ok. So, with an injured hip, I had to attempt to stand and watch the fight - but ended up leaving. Not to mention barely any of their sections, that cost over $1000 to reserve, were filled. MOSTLY EMPTY. So at this point y'all are being greedy. Where are your actual customer supposed to sit if you're selling the free tables and removing all the chairs around the bar. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. THEY DO NOT CATER TO THE CUSTOMERS ONLY THE MONEY. WILL NEVER RETURN. THEY RUINED THE NIGHT. Happy Birthday Mother"
"Great delicious food! Love the weekend specials, one savory the other sweet. Yum! Our favorite server is Kiley. 5 Stars!!!!!"
"This is a quintessential American diner. When you walk in, it's like every great diner you've been to your whole life. Chicken Fried Steak - very good. Biscuits - excellent. Soft and dense. Gravy - very good. Pancakes - excellent. These are heavy, not light and fluffy. But they are really good. Cinnamon roll: goodEggs - ordered over easy, came out over medium -hard. Bacon - really goodSausage - goodMac-n-cheese - very good. (Son says, "it slaps."It's fast paced, busy, packed, and yet the service was great. Go in expecting a diner experience with good food and you will get it."
"Everything here is great! The food is just good ol' fashioned home cooking! The people are out of this world amazing! Go for your birthday and have Brenda sing to you! It's a local establishment which is awesome! A wonderful, family environment! Love AYCE Catfish Fridays! Get up and go visit! Kim and Austin work hard and are just as nice as can be! Stop by and God bless..."
"Babe's Chicken Dinner House is always good!!! My family and I have been visiting Babe's together for over 15 years and it has long been a favorite gathering spot for holidays or special occasions. The food is great, the service is attentive, and the atmosphere is unique - creating a memorable dining experience. At the Arlington location, the interior is decorated as if you are in the midst of a small southern town. The facades of businesses line the walls and fake chickens are placed on any available surfaces. The lighting is dim with cozy string lights and neon signs illuminating the corners of the restaurant. The food is all served family style with large entrees and bottomless sides & appetizers. For $20 you can choose between smoked chicken, fried chicken, fried catfish, chicken tenders, or chicken fried steak (I'm not ashamed to say I've tried them all over the years). Each entree is served on a large platter and is definitely enough for more than one meal! The appetizers include an iceberg lettuce salad with a simple vinaigrette and biscuits. It may be the nostalgia talking, but I believe their biscuits are the best in the world. After getting full on salad and biscuits alone, your meal arrives with family style green beans, mashed potatoes, creamed corn, and gravy. The sides are delicious and you can ask for more of whatever you like! Their fried chicken is crunchy and juicy - and tastes amazing smothered in gravy. After you've eaten so much your top button on your pants bursts, you can take home the leftovers in plastic bags lined along the walls and pay up front on your way out. The servers used to dance the hokey pokey every hour - but I fear they've stopped doing that (at least at our most recent visit they didn't). In all, Babe's is an amazing value and a memorable family-friendly dining experience! I can't recommend it enough."
"Searched online for a burger place and this came up in our search. We like what the webpage had to say. We were not disappointed. For sure that old time diner feel. Our server Carolanne was amazing. Burgers and fresh cut fries for both of us. One added a fried egg Burgers was cooked as ordered. $25 for 2 people for lunch........can't think of another place for great food at that price."
"Blink, and you just might miss it! Abby's Place has been here for a while now, and still remains one of the best little diners in Granbury. Perched right off Fall Creek Hwy (Between DeCordova and Pecan Plantation), Abby's Place delivers great basic diner fare for a great price. Everything from Burgers to Philly Cheese Steaks (and everything in between), this quaint little diner really delivers! Occasionally, they will even have some "ethnic" specials like "Chicken Curry." Great selection of diner favorites, and fast/friendly service. The regulars love it, and so do I. Very well kept and clean. Just can't beat it!"
"Great homecooking spot. Service was great. Place was busy but service and food were quick."

My recommendation? Skip the fast food and come here instead. They even have a drive through, though I dined in.FoodThe food was great! Literally the only thing we had that I wouldn't recommend is the funnel cake and I can't wait to keep coming back. I want to try literally everything on the menu and I am so excited about the prospect.Everything was made fresh and you could tell. The fried mushrooms were little boiling hazards for a while, straight out of the fryer. Scores (Keep in mind I'm not a professional critic. Just an average scorer so I may be more lenient than a lot of people.)Mushroom Swiss Burger 9/10 Could use a sturdier bun, otherwise perfect. Even my onion hating sister enjoyed a bite.Gyro 9/10 Sister said she's only had one better than it before so I'm giving it a 9.Chicken wrap 10/10. Sister loved it and absolutely wants to get it again. "ASAP". No notes. And that was with it being to go and eaten later.Mozzarella sticks 8/10. Good family restaurant fried cheese sticks. Wish it came with marinara as an option though.Fried mushrooms 7/10 Could use more flavor for my tastes but still good. If you like plain fried mushrooms this will be exactly what you want. If you prefer them seasoned or marinated and with seasoned batter, I'd skip these.Ranch 8/10 Solid ranch. Fries 8/10 Good for the type of fry they are and have a great seasoning. Some of them could use a bit more seasoning but even the fries without it were still good.Tiramisu 8/10 for me 7.5 from my sister. Solid but have had better. 1 point bump to the score because I got it to go.Funnel cake 5/10. The bites that didn't have too much oil were good, and it looked very pretty. Unfortunately the parts that had too much oil were most of it and you couldn't taste anything else. I'd save the money and get something else instead. Now for the other things to consider for visiting.Other AspectsOverall the prices and service were great and the food was awesome. The owner is very nice. There's a tip jar there but unfortunately I don't carry cash otherwise I would have left a tip.Wait time was not bad at all. We came just before the lunch rush and it still didn't take long for things to come out. Bathroom is a single occupancy, which is perfect for me, and very clean. It has a pull door to get back into the restaurant though and only a blow dryer, so bring your own paper to get back in the restaurant without touching the handle. Has a cool vintage cash register in there for decoration.Even though it's a small place there are a variety of seating options available for most people including ones that fit short and fat people.Accessibility It does seem like you might have issues if you're a wheelchair user. It's a relatively hole in the wall kind of place and navigation in the dining room might be a little tight. I'll keep a closer eye on that next time I go. I'll also check the bathroom for aspects of that next time too. I was just so relieved it met my medical needs (private bathroom) that I didn't think of the more common accessibility needs. I think it probably is a tight squeeze if it's accessible at all though. Likely not comfortable.OverallFor me and my sister this is a place we will be going back to and probably ordering delivery from. I can't wait to try literally everything on the menu. The menu also varies enough I think it could hit my mood most days. Overall between the atmosphere, price. service, and food I would give the place a 9/10. Will definitely be back.

This place was packed on a Saturday morning! When we drove up to the place to meet a friend, there was almost no parking so we expected the food to be really delicious. We wound up parking on the street. This café is very well known in the area when you first walk into the store you're basically walking right into the dining room so there's not a lot of area for you to stand, but luckily the host and cashiers and other servers were able to get us seated right away. The weight staff is very attentive and never let my coffee or water go less than 3/4 full.We waited a little bit longer for the food, but they were so busy so we understood. I ordered the scrambler which is scrambled eggs with cheese vegetables came with a side of your choice. I chose hashbrowns and sausage patties. The food overall lacked seasoning and everything tasted a little undercooked. The bell peppers and onions were still more on the raw side, and the eggs were a little bit runny. The hashbrowns, even though they had a nice crust on the outside they were kind of undone in the middle. Not sure if I would come back to this place, but the customer service and cleanliness of the café was on point.

Great breakfast. Coffee is ok. It is pretty pricey. We had 2 breakfast specials, extra side of bacon and grits, 2 coffee's, and a soda for $47. The biggest thing for me, as a mom that serves her family breakfast most mornings, I want to be served when I go to a restaurant. The coffee is at the register, so you serve yourself and take it to your table. If you want a refill, you need to go back up. It is not a big deal really, but I rarely go out to eat and just wanted someone to come serve me coffee for a change. If that doesnt bother you then it is worth a try.

We are sticklers for reviews. Olivia is likely the best server we've encountered in a very long time. We experienced Woolworth in Dallas the day before and although the bar was similar, the service at Woolworth was terrible. Having said that, the bar service is not the only thing fabulous. The food quality is pretty terrific. Rosemary spiced fries...need I say more? Just treat yourself to any of the establishments adjacent to The Sporting Club such as Blum which will surely please. Olivia asked me what I liked to drink as opposed to ushering me into a drink on the menu. Thus, I tasted and absolutely loved the French 75!

We are at Mama's Daughters for the first time the other day. It got the old time diner vibe and we loved that! We noticed that the servers seemed to know some of the patrons quite well and loved that too! The food was good and the service terrific!! We will definitely be back!!

Best cut of liver that I have had in quite some time. Being so easy to overcook, I have become accustomed to tough liver & onions but this was cooked to perfection.Service was prompt & courteous. The dining room was clean and calm, despite a full house. This diner has managed to retain the small town charm of my favorite diners as a kid. I will certainly be returning.

"Ok, so this place is super cool! We live in Ft Worth and don't make it out here often, but when we are in the area, we like to stop in. The ambiance is great but the food is even better! There is so much to look at, the wait for your food seems almost non existent. There is also mini juke boxes at your table where you can control the volume of the music - 50's of course! We've had the chicken fried steak, hamburger steak, catfish, fries, mashed potatoes, okra, green beans, just to name a few. Also, the peanut butter chocolate shake was to die for! Service is always good and staff is friendly. They also sell merchandise if your interested. We never have, but it's cool to look at as well as all the memorabilia. If you're in this area, I suggest stopping by, even if it's only for a plate of piping hot fries and a milkshake."
"Decided to take my nieces to breakfast here to celebrate school being over (18months to 6yo). We piled into a booth and proceeded to order a good portion of the menu--omelet, french toast, regular toast, biscuits, pancakes, T-bone, scrambled eggs, etc. Plenty of traditional diner fare. The cookery choices on the steak were "medium well" and "well done", I chose the former but got the latter. Eggs were ok, biscuits a bit burnt, but otherwise everything else was pretty unremarkable. The kids enjoyed all of their meals. Service was friendly but choppy (my Spanish proficiency was as good as our waiter's English) and the high chair we asked for was not clean.Overall, though, this place was okay. Hit most of the points I'd expect for a local diner--down to the eclectic music playing--and I'll likely come here again."
"Happened to stop for a layover at the airport .... Food service and ambiance is great !"
"My Husband (Kenric) and I have been coming here for years and still enjoy great quality food, amazing coffee and the friendliest, most warm servers and staff one could ask for. Lydia, we are so appreciative of the Eddie's family and will continue to make this one of our go-to places. Side note: the cow decor has a special place is my heart. Today there are Christmas cows."
"Let's preface this with first! How in the hell did we not know this place was here 5 years living right down the road! I am head over heels that we found this Amazing Place! If your a Bourbon Connoisseur they have you covered! If your a Wine Connoisseur they have you covered! If you enjoy Great not good but great food Chef has you Covered! You want Personal attention from your waitstaff, they have you covered! You want extremely clean and well kept they have you covered! If you want Food that makes the pallet dance with excitement waiting for the next course this is a place for you!Don't rush it take it in, the atmosphere, the taste, the smells of exquisite food.We came in and were promptly greeted by Ashley who seated us immediately.First thing that was noticed was the placement of the Silverware, which was polished to a brilliant shine, the Wine and water glass, not a single spot as one would expect in a fine dining establishment. Our Waiter Xander quickly came to the table, and when asked about house favorites was quick and knowledgeable about the menu and foods! Absolutely spot on descriptions, including the sauces and flavoring of the foods! We choose the Oysters and Deviled Eggs appetizers! What a great recommendation the Oysters were not only fresh ( clean and clear) the sauces sent with them were traditional and very fresh it is apparent in the taste! The deviled Eggs are not your Grandmothers Thanksgiving Eggs they are better just don't tell Grandma..My Wife ordered the smoked Duck meal, judging by how quickly she cleared her plate I can say it was beyond delicious, and she is picky as picky comes.I had the Ribeyes and I am a Beef purist, no sauces just give me the meat!Cooked perfectly, I didn't need a knife this steak was simply amazing, I have had 140.00 and Ounce WAYGU that was not nearly as tasteful and so perfectly cooked as this steak was. The sides were some mashed potatoes and asparagus both flavorful and perfectly paired with this steak. Now I orders three orders of the scallops with my steak as I love scallops, these were not dainty little scallops they were big and tasty. Perfect cook on the scallops seasoned just right still allowing that sea taste to come through! We opted for the homemade Bread pudding, wholly Mother of Mary! This dessert should be illegal it is so absolutely delicious you have to tart it all, you can be completely stuffed you will make room for this dessert!I can not say enough about how well we were treated by the amazing staff, our Waiter Xander was truly an absolute pleasure to speak with, and a consummate professional, his recommendations were spot on!We are planning our next visit and I guarantee you it will not be another five years before we return, so glad we found this amazing spot! To whomever owns this little slice of heaven Thank you kindly for providing this area with such An awesome and well managed establishment!"
"AMAZING FOOD!! Went to school with the daughter of the owner who plays for WNBA and Olympics!!! Local restaurant with HUGE portions and amazing prices! I recommend the BBQ student special!"
"Food is amazing and comforting. Service is stellar! It's like coming home each time we visit! The Cafe is warm and inviting. They'll keep you coming back. Make sure to try one of their slices of homemade pie or cinnamon roll french toast"
"CLASSIC CANADIAN DINER Maple Leaf Diner is a Dallas staple with delicious pies and breakfast items. Check out their holiday specials! I'm a fan of the Spiked Maple Nog. I also love their poutine fries and extravagant Chicken, Bacon, & Waffles.Holiday Specials: (Through Jan. 4)* S'mores Mocha Latte * Spiked Maple Nog * Cotton Candy Cane Mimosa * Special Order Chocolate Pecan Pie* Special Order Pecan PieGood service here. Friendly service. Cozy feeling cafe."
"This place is a regular lunchtime spot for me. The daily specials are priced low, with a great verity. Service is excellent to outstanding, depending on the obvious. Small town diner with big taste and curtesy. Cake with lunch till they run out!! Come early and don't clog up the system...this is no place to pull out your laptop, book, or hang out talking. They need that table"
"I don't usually eat breakfast but I love breakfast food. So when my friend suggested this spot for dinner, I was thinking we should save this for a special occasion weekend brunch kind of day instead. Little did I know, they serve breakfast all day! The inside was cozy and dineresque with a nature theme. The dining area was pretty large and spacious. The menus are printed on what looks like a newspaper and they include calories count for everything. They even have smaller portions for some of their dishes which is great if you're not too hungry or if the calorie count shocked you like it did me. Pierceson was our server and he was a super cool guy. He gave us some suggestions and was patient with our questions. Even though I was excited for breakfast, I wanted to try the dinner offerings too. In the end I opted for my beloved Benny. This one was the California Bacon eggs benedict which came with the standard English muffin and poached egg along with thick cut bacon, avocado, spinach, and grilled tomatoes. Now, the Hollandaise sauce was a let down as it was broken. The dish was still tasty but visually not appealing. The country red potatoes were delicious. My friend enjoyed her chicken fried steak meal. Overall, great addition to the area for breakfast any time of the day!"
"I came here for 3 reasons.1. Yelp review average 4 stars seemed legitimate2.Yesterday I ate at a place that takes no cash. This place takes only cash as pointed out in Yelp reviews3.One Yelper says the place needs updating and the seats are bad...im inOk I guess its 4. Im in the area for other reasonsIm happy to report the place is a legit hole in the wall! Yea!So lets review class. Yesterday I ate lunch at a place that had corporate chain written all over it. They didn't take cash.Today Im eating at a mom and pop owned for 40 years that, you guessed itTakes Only Cash!!!! Love it!So let me clarify a couple of things in light of some fellow Yelper feed back I received regarding my No Cash comment yesterday. I want everyting to be convenient for me the customer period. Im spending my money so If I want to whip out the Gold card Id like to be able to. If I want to lay a crispy C note with Benjamines portrait on it, I wanna do that. Taking cash leaves no one out.Not taking cash I believe restricts our rights and leaves a lot of folks out.Ok enough of that.Oasis restaurant has fantastic food at Fantastic prices. I was shocked when the waitress told me they'd been there forty years!! I've been up and down this street for 40 years. But the Decor of the place proves it.The waitress recommended the Migas(I usually dont do mexican unless well im in a Mexican food place) But I bit and wow it was delicious.Every single employee in the place was engaging and nice..Guy is definitely recommending a big ...Go!!!PS dont forget to bring Cash Only!!!"
"It's completely authentic. Fine dining and the warmest hospitality. We order out pizza. There are a lot of pizza "joints" in N Dallas/Richardson. Fortunately there is Abova's."
"Great good and really friendly staff! Good prices too. We had both breakfast and lunch here on separate occasions. I'm not really a breakfast person but I loved it."
"This place was very delicious, we were around the area for a mini getaway and found this place was near us. We were very satisfied with the customer service, our waitress was very attentive and sweet. The appetizers were very good portions to begin our meal. And the burgers were very delicious. If you plan on coming here definitely try their shakes. We had the golden monkey shake and it was so good, we hope to be back soon."
"We came for the Sunday brunch buffet, $15/person. The wait was about 10 minutes. The buffet selection was really good, especially the chicken fried steak with gravy, they also have an omelette station. You can get a free desert to-go pie or cake when you leave."
"New adventure for us. My sponsor was searching for "Burgers" when she came across a Mediterranean restaurant that serves burgers. It had good ratings. Off to south Arlington we go. When ordering she noticed the burgers were Lamb Burgers not "Ham"burgers made with beef. I ordered the Gyro Wrap to stay within the theme of the establishment. We each ordered a side of fries and a single side of Baba Ghanoush. The owner and staff were exceptionally nice, making the experience remarkable. My sponsor was very impressed with the burger and side dishes. It is placed on our return list."
"Best pancakes in Frisco. This is a great stop for breakfast. The staff is friendly even though they are regularly busy. Their coffee is quite good too. I highly recommend."
"There are so many good things to say about Mama's Daughter that I'm not sure where to start. The cooking is perfect. The chicken fried steak is crisp and juicy. So is the chicken fried chicken. The gravy has a fantastic texture and is peppered just right. You'll want it on everything! The green beans with bacon are addicting. The cornbread is wonderful. The only thing here I'd pass on are the peaches because they're literally swimming in sugar syrup. Everything else is delicious. There's not a bad order to be ordered. The daily meat and three special gives you a an entrée plus three sides at under $12. It's a steal of a value. The only thing of better value is the service. You'll feel like you're a regular even if it's your first time. Staff is just attentive enough without being overbearing. They'll have that refill just before you realized you wanted it. That check will arrive just before you're ready to go. Their grins and pleasantries won't stop. The vibe makes you feel at a distant relatives home. Getting a table might be tough at lunch and especially after church hours. Arrive early, because even the small parking lot is tough to navigate. If you have a large truck this could be a problem. That aside it's a wonderful café inside and out that makes you feel at home."
"Really a nice place to grab a quick breakfast before everything opens, and enjoy your daughters time together, good service and tasty coffee"
"Just enjoyed the sausage and egg sandwich. Stewarts has been open for about 46 years, I was told. Options for lunch are chicken, pork chops, sides of corn , green beans ,pinto beans, turnip greens, peach cobbler, banana pudding, deviled eggs and more"
"Excellent everything! Had the omelette, super fresh and filling, my daughter had the Nutella banana French toast and I it was so good, I had to copy down the ingredients so I can make it at home. Heather was our server and she was a riot! So fun and spunky! Highly recommend!"
"I just finished my second meal at Cafe de France's Plano location, and I am again pleasantly surprised. On both occasions I went outside of high traffic times. The service was nonetheless excellent. They offer compelling menus and deliver an unbelievably good value. I will absolutely return."
"Went in on a Saturday for a late breakfast. The place was packed, but we got a table. I ordered the whole hog omelet, my wife had the eggs Benedict. My omelet was very good and well cooked. The hash browns lacked seasoning. My wife's Benedict left a lot to be desired. The egg was cooked hard, and the English muffins were too tough to saw through with her knife. The star of the show was the biscuits. I could eat my weight in them! The server was attentive and very courteous, making sure we had everything we needed, including drinks to go. The atmosphere is full-on old school diner. Lots of people and lots of food. We'd go back if we were in the area, just might make some different food choices."
