"I went to celebration for a girls organization event. The restaurant looks almost like a home with lots of small rooms. We definitely liked the privacy. I ordered the turkey and dressing. My sides were mash potatoes and a salad. I highly recommend the cucumber dressing for the salad. It was delicious! The rest of the meal was good and all the other ladies enjoyed theirs as well. "In 2021, I said... "best biscuits in town." I'm pretty sure that still holds as of now. The biscuits are fluffy, buttery and paired with the best spreads: salted whipped butter, golden natural honey and sweet seasonal jam. You always need to start with an order of these here. Heck, you could go and just get coffee or a cocktail with them. You'd be happy with your breakfast! We were last there with a group so we had an order of biscuits, pimento cheese and entrees. I tried their chicken biscuit sandwich. It had a fried chicken thigh, kale apple slaw and honey. It was delish! Surprisingly, I also really enjoyed the pimento cheese. I'm not a typical pc gal, but this one seemed to have more flavor and heat to it. Overall, we had a really lovely brunch! The entire party seemed happy with the food, service (shout out to Melody for all the water refills and being patient with us!), ambiance and (of course)... the biscuits!"

"I used to frequent this cozy little cafe when I lived in Dallas, now living in the suburbs doesn't make it so easy, but decided to revisit this place once again, and it never fails to satisfy my craving for tropical Cuban cuisine. We started out with appetizers, ordering the Yucca Frita, Cuban Empanadas, and Bolitas de Bacalao. All of the sharable plates came out hot and fresh. My dining partner tried the Ropa Vieja (my all time favorite Cuban dish) and I decided to try the Arroz Con Pollo. Both were exceptional, and both tasted great! The Arroz con Pollo is enough to feed two people! We also had dessert, the bread pudding and the Chocolate Coconut cake and both were the perfect ending to a tasty meal. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a unique dining experience!!"

We had come during the lunch rush and there was one server serving the 10ish tables. She handled everyone's orders and requests with grace and went non stop. Give her a raise! The food - is good, but the biggest question mark was the beef. We had gotten the arayes appetizer, which barely had any ground beef, and the beef kabobs did not seem fresh. My partner had gotten the beef shawarma and same thing, good flavor, but can tell it wasn't fresh. The chicken was fine. The rice also was a bit bland.If you're craving some Mediterranean food in the Fort Worth area, Nish! Is an option, but temper expectations ahead of time."

"I was in town for a quick visit and had a hankering to come back to a chain that gave so many positive culinary memories. I used to go to the Keller Springs location but Lakewood was the closest this time. Some things had changed in the 4-5 years since I'd been back - or maybe this location is set up differently - but I have mixed feelings about the experience.First, instead of servers I was directed to a counter to order my food. Not the biggest deal but I liked being able to sit down for my order. Also, I recall a few different choices of buns. I was never asked and I found the default to be rather sad and flat. One intriguing change was the self-serve soft drink machines that featured offerings from a local supplier. The mandarin and lemon-lime I sampled wasn't bad although I would have also like some national brand options. The Wild West burger I got was okay. The meat and fixings were good but were brought down by the mediocre bun. My skinny fries were still pretty good. Like many businesses during these extraordinary times, it seems that Liberty Burger has had to make some pivots to save money. Unfortunately for me, a lot of it detracted from the previous experience I remembered fondly. At the very least, they should bring back the bun variety or have the counter staff be clearer that there are still options available."

I finally got around to leaving my review since I was looking at my foodie pictures. 1) They are open pretty late (I believe past midnight) 2) When we were at this restaurant, they had a Santa for couples/parties that want to take pictures. It was cute!3) there are many small/tight booths for couples and for our small table we had a small curtain for privacy. It could be loud due to music and chatter all around. It is really dim so watch your step. 4) My lover and I LOVED the service and we loved our server who greeted us, made us comfortable, and told us mini descriptions of our order. Our server was very friendly, humorous, and welcoming! 5) Food: We got the assortment of the cakes because we got more bang for our buck. It was very tasty! Even though it was just 5 slices, my lover and I thought it was still a bit too much for the both of us. The hot chocolate we got was alright, I wanted to try it out but I wouldn't order it again for the price it costs because I thought it was basic. It looked nice though! 6) My lover and I were the second to last people to enter the restaurant, we didn't realize that we were the last people there once we finished eating!! Nobody rushed us or mentioned that we were the last people there and they were cleaning up. We felt so bad! But we love them for that and their service. 7) bathroom: bathroom was spacious, supplied well, and cute! (I personally rank restaurants on their bathrooms as well haha) My lover and I would come back because we loved our experience!"

We come here at least twice a month and the big thing most of the diners around us are missing is that their tonkatsu is really the star of the show here!FOOD: While we've tried some of their ramen and don't get me wrong, they are good at what they do ramen-wise, there's no doubt in my mind that their tonkatsu is top notch. Wife and I have a soft spot in our bellies for a good tonkatsu and here's what we love about theirs: 1) they get the panko crust just about perfect every time. 2) they have never overcooked it, always juicy, and 3) it's a good sized portion! The only knock about it is that it's not the type of sauce that I prefer (the brown Bulldog brand is my favorite), but it's good enough. Maybe I'll bring my own bottle haha. The other thing we like is their takoyaki. I'm a big takoyaki fiend, and I always leave satisfied with how they make it. Never overdone, always hot and gooey on the inside, and just the right amount of Kewpie mayo and takoyaki sauce. They never skimp on the bonito flake either.SERVICE: Always spot on and very polite and professional. RETURN VISIT? Yup! This is one of the better if not the best Japanese restaurants in the area!"
