"So I started typing a play by play of my awkward and embarrassing encounter today, but I'll spare y'all the details. I decided to come in super early, because after reading some reviews I wanted to avoid peak times due to it being a new business with freshly trained staff. Well, I was charged my total transaction, because the young lady at the counter did not understand that I was here for the Yelp event. I told her multiple times and even explained to her what the event included. It was so awkward. A manager came over and resolved the problem. Maybe leave a sticky note at the register? I'm glad there wasn't a line behind me.The food was delicious. The five and dime was everything... crispy bacon, fried egg, cheddar cheese, and moist fried chicken breast between tender biscuits then smothered in gravy. The potatoes o brien was bomb! Loved everything about it. I opted for the iced caramel toffee crunch latte. It was really sweet for me but good. Training needs some ironing out, but the staff and manager were all friendly. Overall solid food. As always thanks Kendall, Yelp, and MSBC for this event. This is a "I was here" review since I didn't get to officially checked in."
"Hidden gem! we didn't know what to expect coming into this place.. but to our surprise it was a great spot! environment was good..Quick & attentive service..Food was pretty good! We LOVED the Thai chili wings & the Brussel salad was delicious! (Everything we ordered was amazing tho) drinks were really good as well (not pictured) Our server and the manager were so sweet! Wonderful experience overall."

"This place is different. You get desserts and you're able to shop for hype beast stuff. If you're into shoes and stylish clothing trends plus live desserts, you def should stop by. I love crop tops to wear daily and they actually have a good selection. They also carry their own brand and it's so colorful and pretty. I also like the shirt the girls who was working wearing. Hopefully they'll offer it soon like how other food spot carry certain shirts exclusive to their brand. I tried the unicorn breath milkshake which consist of sweets and pebbles cereal. It was good but personally i like my milkshakes thicker. There were so many selections to choose from too. They have cereals you don't see in stores. They're still testing out boba tea flavors and toppings. Tried the Thai tea and milk tea. It was good and not overly strong. If you're Asian you probably wouldnt like how they make it but i actually like mine less sweet. They also had a hood selection of Asian snacks :)As far as service, the owner and other employees were there. Very nice and welcoming. Just service is a little slower bc they are short on workers if it's busy. I actually went before the rush so i didn't have a long wait. They did say they're coming out with new ideas and another location. Def worth a try and I would go back for desserts."
"Giving 5 stars to offset some senseless reviews. Otherwise, I'd give at least 4. Always good. Hard to get a seat sometimes. Service good. Very happy that the city supports local business instead of corporations. Wish all these people would support Jake & Dorothy's as much. Unfortunately, Stephenville is becoming corporate business establishment like any large city, killing local businesses and the hometown feel.Sad..."
"Everything great and actually better than expected aside from our server who disappeared after randomly deciding to give a table her unsolicited political opinions lol. She's harmless but funny and not the most focused..no big deal. Breakfast potato's were AMAZING! Perfectly crispy on the outside and indulgently soft on the inside. Eggs were perfect and portions large. Coffee great. Highly recommend!"
"The location of this place is a shopping center, so there's quite a bit of parking! I'm going to be honest this place doesn't look like much, but boy is everything top tier! Although, the staff mainly speaks Spanish they were all so kind and patient. The bathroom was clean. Anytime the stove/kitchen are visible it gives me a certain level of comfort because I can see the food being prepared!I ordered street tacos with corn tortillas and steak, so yummy! I ended up ordering 4 more...My mojito was perfect! And I ended up ordering another one of those as well...Although this place looks quite humble, I highly highly recommend it! I'll definitely be back"
"A Delectable Delight at Coaches Box: Hickory Bacon Burger and Chef SaladRecently, I had the pleasure of dining at Coaches Box and indulging in their Hickory Bacon Burger and Chef Salad, and let me tell you, it was a culinary experience to remember. The Hickory Bacon Burger was a true masterpiece. The burger patty was juicy and flavorful, cooked to perfection with a delightful smoky hickory flavor. Topped with crispy bacon, melted cheese, fresh lettuce, and tomatoes, all sandwiched between a soft, toasted bun, every bite was a burst of savory goodness.Equally impressive was the Chef Salad. A vibrant mix of fresh greens, crunchy vegetables, savory meats, and creamy dressing, it was a refreshing and satisfying choice. The combination of flavors and textures was simply delightful, making it a perfect accompaniment to the hearty burger.Overall, my experience at Coaches Box was exceptional. The Hickory Bacon Burger and Chef Salad were both delicious and satisfying, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a tasty meal. The next time you're in the mood for some good food, be sure to give Coaches Box a try--you won't be disappointed!"
"Biscuits and gravy are one of my favorite breakfast items and Flat Top's version was so tasty. I look forward to trying their other options.Service was fast and friendly. Watch their Facebook to find the truck's schedule; looks like they are mainly in Tarrant County."
"Came back again and it was just as good as the first time we checked the place out which prior to the pandemic. The food still had great flavor. I had a kids meal with Mac & cheese and mash potatoes with cream gravy. The Mac & cheese had really good flavor and was creamy. The potato's had some skin left on and the gravy had real bacon in it. The kids meal comes with a drink. My fiancé got the daily special which is $3 cheaper than regular price. He got the chicken fried chicken with mash potatoes and gravy and corn. The chicken was cooked just right not dry at all the breading was crispy and had a good flavor. We split the banana pudding and it had chucks of banana in it and was so yummy! I hope we make it back sooner and not wait so long."
"Fried Chicken the way it's supposed to be. The service is first class and the country decor fits the menu. The family serving style is unique and caused more family engagement without cell phone interrupting. Flavors =YUM"
"Awesome chicken wing spot located around the Lakewood area! I got the 2 piece dark chicken combo that came with fries and a drink and was left full and content, especially for the price. Only $7 all around for quality chicken and quick service. Also, the fries were seasoned to perfection too with their Cajun seasoning. They only allow drive thru at the moment, but the service is fast and there's never a line. All in all, if you're looking for a chicken spot and want something simple and quick, I definitely recommend checking this place out. The people inside are wonderful and polite too!"
"Service was excellent. My cheeseburger was cooked well and not greasy. Bun not too soft or sweet. Just right. Place is clean and nice. The complimentary bread was delicious!"

What a great new spot in keller! We went around 10am Saturday and it was packed but they were able to handle the crowd quickly. There is plenty of seating in spot of the crowd and there is also some outside (however there is a major fly problem they need to deal with ) Staff was all very helpful and on top of keeping everything clean and restocked. I got the farmer and it was really good I was afraid it would be to sweet with the apple butter but it wasn't.The maple coffee was delish too! I love you can drink offer from a real mug! It always tastes better that way to me.Thank you Yelp and Maple street for a wonderful experience we will be back!!

Tried this place for the first time and I was very pleased! The atmosphere is good and so is the service. The food was very tasty and they have a large diverse menu. The prices are a bit high, but you get what you pay for! If you're in the area this place is worth trying!

The food was delicious, and it was perfectly prepared. We did takeout and it was ready when they told us it would be. They gave us everything we needed in our takeout bag.

Great family style menu restaurant! Very friendly staff, clean with an up to date (Texas) decor/ atmosphere. Check out included menu pictures. The $12.99 price (for many items) could seem high until you see the large portions of fantastically prepared food. I love the Real Texas Omelette, it's a meat lovers plus! However, I'm never gotten anything which wasn't exceptional! They also have great homemade pie, too! This place is a must try!

If you love, small family, Mexican restaurants, this is certainly a great stop. Food was above average and prices are very reasonable. The service was quite attentive, but not intrusive. I had the nachos which are typically a favorite when I try out a new Mexican restaurant. These were the full plate kind instead of the pile of chips with Velveeta sauce over the top, which is more to my liking .Great place for lunch or an early dinner. Take the whole family. They are certainly welcome. It looks like they want my review to be a little longer. Let me add that they can see large and small parties as the tables are four top, which can be put together to see 8 to 12. It is casually decorated and a very warm and welcome place to have dinner.Again, a little Mexican restaurant to keep in mind the next time you're looking for a Mexican fix.Chris

Ehhhh... honestly the food was decent. It was absolutely not what I wanted to eat. I was hoping for healthier options to choose from and there just wasn't anything that hit.The wings were good, service was great and atmosphere is def a lot like BWW or... twin peaks. Def like a sports grill. Which is probably exactly what it is.

"We tried to eat here today after church. We werent sure if they were open or not as they had an open sign flashing, along with a closed sign posted too... checked online to see their hours and it said 11AM. We were there a little early, so waited for them to open at 11:00AM and checked the door, but it was locked waited for about 10 minutes, and the doors never open so we left. Not a good look for a new restaurant."
"Disappointed ordering breasts via their website for pickup. Subsequently got phone call from Royal Fried Chicken stating only 4 breasts currently available. do you So this is a fried chicken specialty place that cannot stock enough different chicken pieces even in preparation for a weekend afternoon? Really? Three stars awarded for responsive customer contact and not too difficult to get reimbursed on my credit card for the website charge."
"Rico café y comida exquisita. Excelente servicio y atención maravillosa. Lo recomiendo 100%"
"Wow. Seriously tasty and fresh. Way bett3r than expected...and friendly service! This gem is located on Rufe Snow. I hit the drive-thru and order3d their 1/4 pounder with cheese meal. I traded the fries for onion rings. My diet coke was HUUUuuuuGE....and was even better than McDonald's fountain drinks! Truth! The burger was really good and held fresh veggies. The onion rings needed a little salt, but oh so good. I went through the drive thru, so the ambiance was minimal...but i love seeing Tex with the big yellow star. Did I mention the soft delicious bun?! So good!"
"Came here for the first time for a Hawaii gathering this past weekend. Being born and raised from Hawaii, it was super nice to see fellow locals thriving in this area. I've tried many Hawaiian dishes and a lot were mediocre and/or below average, especially the poke (raw fish), but this place, was on point for sure. We ordered the kalbi plate, mixed plate (garlic chicken and bbq chicken plate), both the Hawaiian poke and spicy ahi poke, spam musubi, and a piece of Chantilly cake. The garlic chicken are in chicken wing form which isn't the normal cuts, but the flavor was the same exact way I remember it from home. The kalbi and mac salad was on point. The bbq chicken was ok. The spam musubi was the best that I had here in TX. The spicy ahi poke was more flavorful of the 2 pokes. Chantilly cake was amazing. They also sell a lot of other desserts, snacks, and Hawaii canned juices. Highly recommended.Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Lots of tables to dine on. Clean restrooms next to a cool Spam canned wall and lots of parking outside. I'm pretty far from the DFW area, but will definitely be back if I'm ever in this area again."
"Not going to mince words here. This chicken is fantastic. I'd go back every day of the week if it was healthier and I lived close. Unfortunately, it's not the healthiest meal and I don't live close. When you enter, you wait in a line to order at the counter, and then take a number and sit down where they bring you your food.Tenders, wings, doesn't matter. It's worth your time. It's worth your commute. It's worth the calories. Go now, before you change your mind."
"Stopped in after I got the request to "give an honest review of this place. We've had reports that it's not good for our area" So here is the factual experience I was a part of. Stopped in on a "Friday" with very minimal attendance in place already. Tried their "special" with a Philly Cheesesteak.5:50pm and my order arrived. A lady with freckles came out of the back and apologized for the long wait as she said "I had to make pizza dough to prep for our orders later on tonight". Philly had good flavor though. Of that counts for something. I left the establishment feeling not valued as a customer. Little to NO interaction from the bar staff at all. Some gentlemen kept hovering around the bar with his toddler as seen in the picture here. Even though this is a local hangout, as a local I felt unvalued as a customer."
"Let me start by saying, I've never been to Sanger before, but was there and hungry, so looked for a place to eat. I really wanted a burger, so tried here.At least when I was there, parking was plentiful, so went here and ate in my car listening to music. Also when I was there, no objections to them having 90s country playing since that's always a good choice. But now into the food. Let's start with the fries, since natural that's the first thing to eat (cold fries are nasty). I didn't like that they don't offer regular fries, just waffle fries. My issue with that is waffle fries are never seasoned enough and due to the shape, they tend to be undercooked or overcooked and rarely not one or three other since for the inside to be cooked, many times the outside it hard and too crispy. So they were about what I was expecting. Now into the burger. It doesn't use regular American cheese, which is a good call, though surprising since it's literally in the heart of a small town. But it tasted different, though in a good way. The burger tasted more like ground brisket, than hamburger meat and even had the right coloration. Overall it was a plain burger (wish they put mustard or whatever in the burger instead of just small packets on the side), but it was def the meat that set it apart from most places. The Smokey, flavorful meat was a nice change of pace for sure"
"Just enjoyed the sausage and egg sandwich. Stewarts has been open for about 46 years, I was told. Options for lunch are chicken, pork chops, sides of corn , green beans ,pinto beans, turnip greens, peach cobbler, banana pudding, deviled eggs and more"
"The place is a good option if you are around the area. It seems very popular for locals. - The food was good, but honestly it wasn't wow. It was well portioned, and it's the typical comfort food. They do have hamburgers, sandwiches, and salad options. - The service was extremely good. Our server Zita (I hope I am spelling that correctly) was on point with her recommendations, and very attentive. - Parking it's shared with all the other locals, so it may get packed at peak hours. - they have plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, and it's good for small and larger parties. They have booth, table, and bar seating."
"The best tacos we've had in a LONG time! The Barbacoa beef was something special and was our favorite. Pastor was very good too. The green salsa was super spicy and the red was just right for us. We can't wait to go back. Two thumbs up on the cheese quesadilla as well. Chivo worked at Miguelito's for years and so nice to see him open a food truck!"
"YES- drinks here NO- food here I live close by and I keep trying to Make Provender Hall Happen bc the location and vibe is so cool, but I've been disappointed in the food every time. Heavy, sad representation of Southern food. Drop by for a drink and to see the interior on your way to Lonesome Dove or Los Vaqueros for a meal."
"We were glad we decided to try a new restaurant. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and seated, by the host. Our server Angel was very attentive and friendly. The food overall was great! From the BBQ to the country style options. My daughter tried their smash burger & it was also really good. We had some pecan pie w/ vanilla ice cream & homemade banana pudding too... We will definitely be coming back for more!"
"What can you say about the perfect soul food restaurant? Just two words, really: go there! It's pure Louisiana soul food, home cooking, just like I was fed at grandmas house down in Pineville, Louisiana when I was growing up. Everyone, the owner, the wait staff, the chef, the bus people... Everyone is smiling and friendly, and make us old a white folks feel completely welcome there, and even though it's a black owned restaurant with all black employees. Try the coconut cake! The cobbler with a scoop of homemade ice cream! The smothered steak, the fried chicken! You're gonna love it here. I have been a patron for the last 15 or 20 years! Just South if Camp Bowie on Curzon at Horne. Walk in hungry, crawl out completely satisfied!"
"Meatloaf was literally 1/2" thin - was cold by the time it arrived. No dipping sauce for fried string beans, veggie plate had no containers or lids so everything soggy. No butter or honey for rolls. No silver or napkins.I understand saving money but don't skimp- charge more and satisfy!"
"Not quite what i was expecting in terms of ambiance, it was a bit more dive barish than I was expecting, but the staff and the menu were excellent. It seems this bar is a victim of its environment at some point, but regardless of the surrounding area, the patio still appears to be quite popular, this is definitely a local's hangout. I was impressed by the variety of the menu, even more impressed with the brisket sandwich! It appears regardless of where you are in Texas, the BBQ is top notch. The tater tots on the other hand are not worth trying, unless you're a fan of frozen tater tots. The staff are full of energy and very personable, this is a great place to hangout for a while. Cheers!"
"Excellent service and excellent food! 2nd time we have eaten here! Will definitely go back if I'm the area!"
"I was so happy to find this café in the middle of nowhere. It is so cute inside and super clean. I had the chicken and waffles and it was so good. this is gonna be our new breakfast spot."
"This place was unreal! I got the Southern slapped garden salad and the flavor depth was amazing. The portion is perfect size and doesn't leave you feeling too full. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Also DEF get a cookie."
"Our 2nd time eating here and we were just as happy as the first. We came a little later on a Saturday with a larger group (8) so we did have about a 45min wait but we expected that and were happy to wait. The guys went to the small bar to wait and the girls went and walked around some stores in the shopping strip. Service was great. Food was excellent. Everyone cleaned their plates. I tried lunch this time and got the Ranch Chicken melt. My Mom got the turkey bacon club. Fries were delicious. I want to try their okra soon and sooooo many other things on the menu. Their coffee is smooth and delicious. We purchased some beans on our way out to be able to enjoy it at home. I got a abuelita con cafe from cocktail menu and there was no question their was tequila in there. It was strong. I appreciate a strong drink. I did add some more coffee to it to meet my taste preference. Highly recommend this place if you want great food with good service. No reservations on the weekends. Don't be in a hurry if you're going on the weekend because the secret is out."
"Ginnie and Rico know how to cook for real for real. Everything that I've had from there has been awesome! I love their "Soul Food Sundays". I ordered the Fried Chicken wings, collard greens, and black-eyed peas."
"I came here one time for brunch and we had great service and food. This second time I came here because I wanted a good slice of cake and they definitely have some good homemade cakes and desserts! I also noticed they have an update on there entire restaurant which is nice."
"Quality product! , salmon croquets were good, a little hint of spice with good flavor. The potato hash was also done well. Overall I'm glad I gave them a try"
