"Coolest place ever!! They have private rooms and i brought my service dog. They gave him a pup cup and were so friendly. I have been to dozens of coffee shops but this is the one that stands out, service, quality, and vibes. not to mention that the people there are so friendly!"
"We loved our experience at the Yolk in downtown Dallas so we decided to give this location a try. Let me start by saying this location is crazy busy (Sunday morning) and extremely loud, almost to the point where it is difficult to converse. We did the wait list thing, showed up on time, and still ended up waiting another 15 minutes or so after that. We were seated by the kitchen which added to the noise level. My second main point is that the food was good, but not as good as downtown. The wife's corned beef hash was dry. My chicken and waffles were good but not knock you socks off. The waffles were outstanding, light and fluffy, and the chicken was seasoned and not over-battered. Yet, something was missing to bring it all together. The sausage gravy is very good. They work really hard when the restaurant is so busy and so I understand our server may disappear for a time. When we had his attention he was efficient. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. We are still fans of Yolk, but we prefer the one downtown."

"The iced coffee was super strong, but in a good way that kept me juiced up all day. Sandwich was superb and a good portion for the price."
"Wonderful neighborhood counter order cafe! The restaurant at looks like it was a Victorian home converted to a restaurant. There's plenty of seating, prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious!I ordered the French Toast Platter:it came with 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, breakfast potatoes, and 4 pieces of french toasts with fresh cut fruitParking is right behind the building, and there's plenty of it!"
"My family and I have been going here for the past 5 years or so. We all LOVE the boba and its really good. My kids get the Lychee Peach black tea, and its amazing! DEFINITELY TRY! The service is also very nice! And, the entire place is really cute."
"Interesting looking place! Had live music and open mike! Really liked their outdoor area. Had a great salad with grilled chicken! It was a nice portion as well! The young lady that took our order was very helpful since we had not been there before."
"My family has been going here since before I was born and it remains my favorite restaurant. The best arepa and tres leches I've ever had. Service can be a little slow depending on who's working waitstaff but they'll come to you right away if you flag them down."
"The food was good, coffee was just okPastries were good but my husband ended up finding a long hair in a bite and that just grossed me outWish they offered a full refund, instead they just gave me a new slice of coffee cake"
"Honestly, 5 stars for not asking for a tip in a walk-up restaurant. I had the keto bowl and a waffle, both were good. Coffee was good. Price was reasonable. They have a deal M-F where you can get a breakfast sandwich and drip coffee for $7.50."
"I used to frequent this cozy little cafe when I lived in Dallas, now living in the suburbs doesn't make it so easy, but decided to revisit this place once again, and it never fails to satisfy my craving for tropical Cuban cuisine. We started out with appetizers, ordering the Yucca Frita, Cuban Empanadas, and Bolitas de Bacalao. All of the sharable plates came out hot and fresh. My dining partner tried the Ropa Vieja (my all time favorite Cuban dish) and I decided to try the Arroz Con Pollo. Both were exceptional, and both tasted great! The Arroz con Pollo is enough to feed two people! We also had dessert, the bread pudding and the Chocolate Coconut cake and both were the perfect ending to a tasty meal. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a unique dining experience!!"
"This cozy spot offers quick bites as well as a sit-down option. The food was delicious, and the service was great too."
"We passed by for breakfast. This place has truly exceeded our expectations. They don't have a kids menu but they will make Mickey Mouse pancakes for kids. I ordered chicken and waffles. The chicken breast was lightly breaded, very tender and crispy. We will definitely come back whenever we are around."

came here the first day of 2025, and it was packed. was actually glad they were opened during New Years day. I wonder if they open on other holidays? Anyways, we ended up getting a latte and a cold brew.Obviously, the cold brew was quick to make, but the latte took a bit longer.... i suppose it takes time to make the latte art. I know during the holidays, they have a coffee flight where you can pick 3 different types of holiday drinks, that come with a small treat with each drink. I didn't try it this time, and maybe next time i stop by i'll check to see if they are offering a rotating flight list.very cozy place to drink coffee and get work done or catch up with friends.

While staying at the Hilton in a business trip, we found a breakfast spot close to the hotel. We were quickly seated. We had a tighter timeline the second day so told the server. He got us is and out with time to spare to enjoy our fabulous breakfast. The first day, I had biscuits and gravy but was out ordered with the two that ordered lemon blueberry pancakes. The second day, I got Nutella crepes with bananas. It was fab. First day service was meh but second day it was superb. Definitely a go back.

Such a cute coffee spot!! Really went in to try the creme brûlée latte but it's the middle of a heat wave in Dallas and that latte only comes hot because of the torching sugar portion of creme brûlée!!! Couldn't so it, so I went for my next option and got the Vanilla Lavender Latte with oat milk. We also got the passion berry lemonade and both were so good. The lemonade was so refreshing. Lots of places to sit inside and work if you wanted. Not many spots for large groups. The barista was super friendly and helpful...didn't judge me for wanting an iced creme brûlée latte! haha! Overall such a nice coffee place!

This is one of the cutest places in DFW. Murals, plants everywhere, vintage furniture, huge patio, just asking you to take photos for ig.It's good for a first date because you can meet for coffee and if it goes well, maybe you have dinner. If it goes really well, you can continue and have drinks. It's park style so you order at a counter and then get texted to come get your food. Everyone is crazy friendly, helpful, and trying to get you to stick around as long as possible.Live music on the weekend, and there's a ton of parking praise the lord Cocktails look good, but who cares they have blantons at a decent price.

This is my updated review after visiting Zaguan again last week after about a year ago. It's just so lovely here!! From their website, "Zaguán is the elaborate entry-passage in the grand old colonial homes of Spain and Latin American." I always get so impressed when places like this exist in Dallas. It's like an escape from the day to day. If you're looking for a gorgeous mosaic of stone and tile, menu items like cheese arepas, empanadas, plantain chips, and fresh veggies, come here. Order yourself a cappuccino, sit by a window, and live your best life. The staff are so kind and patient with you and make you feel at home. 100% recommend for a work/study date.

"When I tell you this place does not skimp out on meat! Honestly it's the best pho places I've been to. And no joke I've been here like 10 times in the last month ever since I've discovered this place. I've ate in and got take out- the portions are still the same. Fantastic. Flavor is good. And don't forget to ask for chili oil. Not paste. Oil. So good! If you are the owner reading this, please don't change your portions. Your customers will truly reward you by keep coming back."
"I love everything about this place! Thankfully, we arrived just before the college rush! The restaurant is definitely nothing fancy... Our server was super friendly! We ordered both types of the migas and I headed to the coffee bar! This is my favorite thing here... just love sampling the different types and flavors of coffee. They even had 2 decafs!!!It didn't take long for our food to arrive. Fresh and delicious... quite filling! I chose not to eat the potatoes so I could finish everything else! Reasonably priced and just as good as when I lived here 20 years ago! It was fun to be back!"
"We tried Anasofia's for dinner, and we loved the food. The ambiance was also perfect, and the service was good, though it was difficult for us to communicate what we wanted in English and understand the lady serving us as she was talking mainly in Spanish. Regardless, we got exactly what we ordered. We were a group of 6 and ordered vegetarian and non-vegetarian items on the menu; every item was good. They have delicious margaritas as well. Since I am a vegetarian, I will write about what I tried specifically. For starters, we had the chips & salsa. I had Chili Relleno ( vegetarian version with no meat or beef) for the main course, and it was super yummy! We will be back to this place. It is a must-try!"
"@ Vickery Cafe there's always a space for you Great Service Great Food My First Choice"
"I was craving a strawberry spread bagel! This place did not disappoint. It seems like a local neighborhood shop family run. I love all the options they have. Although we came later in the day, they were out on most but still have a good variety of choices. I ended up getting everything bagel with strawberry spread. The hubby got the Connie (if i remembered correctly). Also tried the green tea latte and it was good! The workers were so sweet. We got to pick a surprise bag and ended with blue berry bagel and i think the other one was Asiago kind!"
"It was so good!! I loved the vibe and decor. The people were nice. Wished the place was bigger but I loved every minute of it!! The food was ok, but the drinks was what I came there for!!"
"The coffee and other drinks available are pretty decent. Even the available food options are just typical, nothing to write home about. The biggest thing Cuppa Espresso bar has going on here, is the huge dining area. The sitting area is huge and they offer free WiFi, so nobody's in a rush to leave and it's quite comfortable."
"Pax & Beneficia is a vibrant and versatile coffee shop where people can comfortably chat with friends, study, or even conduct business. The welcoming atmosphere makes it a great spot for all kinds of visitors. I also appreciated that their patio is dog-friendly--a nice touch for pet owners! The service was excellent. The staff took the time to explain the menu to my niece and me, which was super helpful. The coffee here is truly amazing! I was in town for just a few days, and we ended up coming twice because we couldn't get enough of it. While I wasn't a fan of the egg salad toast (I took one bite and decided it wasn't for me), the quality of the drinks more than made up for it. I'd happily return for a matcha or coffee the next time I'm in the area. This shop is definitely worth a visit!"
"My dad and I, practically tried all of the gelato flavors before we decided on one. LOL The server behind the counter was patient, kind, and allowed us to try multiple flavors. She said the gelato is made fresh everyday. It was nice and creamy and we enjoyed it! Would go back again. Oh and it was clean inside too!!"
"Great little coffee spot. Friendly, quick, and great customer service. I tried the iced Korean coffee, and it was delicious."
"Absolutely amazing first breakfast at Layered. The flat white was strong, yet smooth and perfect temperature. My omelette was nicely cooked with nice fresh veggies. Shakshouka was legit as well - done exactly the way you would expect it in Turkey or the Middle East.Service was great as well. Looking forward to coming back."
"Has this place bookmarked for a while and me and the wife finally hit it on a date night recently. We both loved the vibe and the food. I had a few Sazerac's and she had the Espresso Martini and we both enjoyed the appetizer cocktails. For the main course I got the pork chop and it is easily one of my favorite's in DFW (not overpriced like other's bone-in chop). The sautéed green beans really surprised me. She got the chicken pot pie and she had to keep slapping my hand away from sneaking bites."
"Met a friend here for brunch on a Sunday morning. I was happy that we were able to get a table for two right away. The service wasn't the greatest. Our server forgot to bring my friend's coffee cup and took a very long time to flag down to get it corrected or our bill, but we both ordered the salmon lox plate which was pretty tasty. They leave a pot of coffee at your table so you don't have to wait for refills. I'd go back to try it again the next time I'm in the downtown Dallas area."
"Ascension is so special to my husband and I. As a nod to how my husband proposed, we had our wedding rehearsal at Ascension and the staff was phenomenal. They were extremely helpful and responsive and bent over backwards to make the evening unforgettable. Cannot recommend them enough!"
"Great Place!Warm greeting when you enter. Friendly waitstaff make this an enjoyable experience! The ambiance is is pleasant and pretty typical Texas cafe/diner. It was also impeccably clean which was nice.I ordered the Mimi's Omelette Breakfast which came with a large omelette that had ham, cheddar, onions and green peppers. It was prepared perfectly! It came with my choice of hash browns or grits, I chose hash browns and they were really good and not greasy at all. I also had a choice of Toast or Pancakes. The pancakes were delicious!I am a fan!"
"This place will be busy if you go to breakfast any time. This is not the business's fault but your own if you go and you're expecting to get seated 5 minutes after you get there. You can check in on their app, but if you don't check in within 15 minutes of checking in on the waitlist they remove you. That's only fair for the people who get there in person. It's a small restaurant, super cute, very modern inside. You can tell whomever designed this place thoughtfully did so from having beautiful plates with a lip, to putting the sound bar in the bathroom so it echoes off the ceiling and you can hear the music well. The food was outstanding and beautifully plated. The kids got Mickey pancakes and loved them. The kids cups super cute drink cups. Hubs got the Birria bowl with rosemary potatoes. He loved the flavors together. He wished he would've gotten the bowl with zucchini because he missed his veggies. The quesadilla was super good and he hates quesadillas normally. I got the veggie omelet. This was the best veggie omelet I've ever had. The flavors so complementary and nothing overpowering. We also got the cannoli donuts. The fry was just perfect to make a crispy soft donut that is an in between cake/yeast donut. The filling not too sweet. Lastly, the service was incredible. Nicole our main waitress was on top of everything. So friendly and had great suggestions. She even got me a to go coffee. The girls loved talking with her. Will definitely come back, we will wake up early next time."
"Great coffee and fun vibe with music and friendly staff. Fast and efficient service and good variety of options."
"I've always been drawn to their seasonal drink menu. I had the s'mores latte 10/10. It had a chocolatey smoky flavor. The star of the show was the always 10/10 ginger cookie."
"Nice start to hump day. There have been so many new "sweet shops" opened around Dallas in the last few years,I decided I'd better try a few.Next up on my list, is Palmeris. I found myself in this part of downtown on business so, decided to partake in a coffee and pastry. Palmieri came up with good temperatures on Yelp so, I went for it. Its located in the Gentrified area called Farmers Market. In my childhood this was a real working farmers market and you could come here on any day of the week and find a selection of common foods, from fresh vegetables to meat and everything in between. Now it's been enclosed and spaces rented to food stalls and shops. Nice area. Most businesses were still closed when I arrived at about 920am. I searched for a while until I found Palmieri cafe. I didn't realize it was a walk-up. No harm though, they have an excellent staff of three waiting to expertly help you.I ended up ordering a Cappucino and Cornetto. The Cappucino was perfectly prepared and placed in a Real Cup for my pleasure. A Cornetto is a pastry made with eggs, butter, water, and sugar, then filled with pastry cream.I have to admit. For almost $5 I expected more. The flavor of the bread was fairly average and I expected a bite of richness. The cream filling was almost nonexistent. They could improve here.I would say if you are here and in the mood for a coffee or pastry give them a try. Otherwise, I don't think id go out of my way to get here!"
"More great experiences to rave about this place! Their staff is so polite, knowledgeable, and kind. Love how they change their menu seasonally. Their fall and winter menus had some unique flavors and I can't wait to come back before their spring release to try a few more things."
"This is a wonderful boba shop. I loved the vibe of the place. The boba is amazing, and I was only in there for 15 minutes tops. It was great experience. Would definitely recommend going! -Katelyn Taylor"
"I had an early morning physician's appointment in the medical district. Since it was breakfast time, we decided to drop by one of our fav places for breakfast, Paris Coffee Shop. Each time customers come in, it's like they're family. All are warmly welcomed. We were happy parking was available and there was no wait because my wife and I were both hungry. Both of us ordered the two-egg breakfast. My wife decided on scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns. I ordered over easy eggs, sausage patties, hash browns, biscuit and a side of grits. I love grits at breakfast. Of course, piping hot coffee was ordered. What's breakfast without coffee? Our breakfast platters arrived quickly. Paris Coffee Shop has some awesome short order cook who have perfected their craft. Both of our platters were served and cooked to perfection. Yummy breakfast. Thank you, Paris Coffee Shop for an awesome visit."
"How much do I love this place? I ride my bike there on the weekends! 30 mile round trip! Renew is where I stop to refuel. A latte and the best homemade cinnamon roll in the area. The location is very clean. The owners are super nice! The staff is very efficient. The coffee is fantastic! I pass at least three other coffee shops to stop at Renew! Wonderful place!"
