I don't know know if she thought we were just taking up space & anti-social, but there were like six other tables around us that were empty with no one waiting either. That being said, I also like that there's a lot of options to sit outside too. It was a little chilly so we sat inside, but definitely a great patio area.We ordered the big pretzel & the three dip with chips. Guacamole was okay, salsa was good, & the smoked gouda queso wasn't bad but it was pretty thickened up/cooled down a few knives after arriving to our table. Overall all food entrées from our table, the chicken tenders were okay. Pretty good portion. Fries were so so with both. My friend enjoyed his burger, then my other friend & I both had the smoked brisket grilled cheese... they knocked that out of the park! It wasn't greasy & didn't fall apart, yet had a generous amount of brisket. We had the mac n cheese with it, excellent. I'd go back just for that.Service overall was okay, good but not great. When it wasn't busy it took awhile for us to get our drinks, then a soda after that, then getting our initial orders in. Yet, when it got super busy, they were totally on top of everything!Overall it was a good experience, lots of drink choices & easy to see your options by scanning a QR code in the table."

"We loved the decor and the ambiance here. It had a lively after work bar area. Our server was very professional. The Buzz cocktails that we had were extremely delicious. My friends each got the 1/2 chicken dish and devoured every bite raving over the flavor. I got the Wagu burger with fries and thought that it was good but not great. I will give it a five as all things added up to me definitely being happy to return. They even make and sell their own soy candles which smell wonderful. They were burning here and there around the restaurant and added to the cozy atmosphere."

"Stumbled upon Lower Greenville upon a recommendation of a Dallas native. We drove from downtown to this area. Hide is located in the center of the Lower Greenville neighborhood. This area is known for Greenville Avenue, a lively dining and nightlife strip packed with trendy bistros, tequila bars and convivial patios hung with festive lights.Hide has two levels and the rooftop patio looks very inviting. We came early afternoon so that area wasn't open but Happy Hour was in full swing. Happy hour has a variety of drinks and food items. We got the the smash burger and crispy artichoke for food. The burger was really delicious. The crispy artichokes were too greasy. The drinks were super tasty. My husband grabbed an old fashion and he ordered me the Mai tai. Both cocktails on HH but you had to pay for the premium ice cube for the old fashioned which was used for 2 drinks. My husband liked the fact that they engraved their initial into the ice cube. Very good experience at this bar. Our bartender was engaging and had some awesome red tattoos. Wish I could give her a shoutout because her drinks were made with care. Check this spot out if in the area. I would hands down recommend this establishment."

Parking is hard to find so you either need to pick up order before or after lunch crowd."

The kids burger (ordered medium) was well done and not eaten. We waited at least 30-40 minutes from the time of ordering until our food was brought out. We also ordered dessert and it was all delicious (key lime pie, chocolate mousse, and creme brûlée) and waited about 15 minutes for them. Overall a good experience, despite a long wait times. The restaurant itself is very cute, but attire of some of the other waitresses made it seem very informal despite menu prices. One waitress wore a see through white tshirt with no bra and nipples were very visible to everyone; quite off putting for such a nice restaurant."

We were so excited and stoked about the quality of food, that we decided to go there again today (Saturday) for brunch. The food was again amazing for brunch. The staff is very friendly. The review lost one star because the chef was walking through the restaurant, stopped at our table, and reprimanded us for bringing outside coffee into the restaurant (we are from out of town and didn't know the rules and also double checked that it is not posted on the door). It is never a good feeling to be reprimanded in the middle of a family meal. Other than the one bad experience during breakfast, I would highly recommend this place! It is truly great food!"

The setting is chic yet inviting, making it a great spot for any celebration.While Uchiba is known for its sushi, they offer a variety of other dishes for those who aren't as into raw fish, and the servers were incredibly helpful in guiding us to options we'd enjoy. Their attention to detail and customer service really stood out.The only downside during our visit was some ongoing construction nearby, which caused a bit of inconvenience with parking. However, Uchiba offers complimentary valet service, though it's definitely a good idea to add a bit of extra time to your arrival and departure to avoid any delays. Despite this small hiccup, the experience was overall fantastic, and I'll definitely be back for another celebration!"

This is the place to go if you want mezcal cocktails. I went here for dinner and drinks, but the vibe inside is so otherworldly and interesting, I'll definitely come back for brunch and happy hour. However, if you're sensitive about art or religion, this might not be the place for you ;) My only critique is the service could've been a bit better. Despite wanting to order a lot of items, our waiter was extremely rushed the whole time and it felt like we were being pushed along. I would've loved to sit there and soak up the ambience and continue ordering drinks (they still had plenty of tables open, so I wasn't just being a Karen, I swear )"

We were sitting by the door and the waiter opened it to let some people leave and we got blasted with cold winter air which also quickly cooled off our food, just something that should be considered when eating somewhere nicer. "Walked in for lunch on a random Tuesday. It was light not too many people thankfully. The inside and outside is aesthetically pleasing and nicer at the Carrollton location. Everyone was attentive and nice, no issues with service. As far as food goes. It reminded me of an El Fenix, Ojedas, Chuys. The queso was really good and flavored well. The sauce that they put on the Carnitas Chile Rellenos should be replaced with another sauce like the salsa they service with the chips and salsa would par better. It was like pizza tomato sauce that's what I would compare it too. The rice was really good and the black beans were good as well. The frijoles were really good as well even took some home rewarmed them and they were just as good as when we had them fresh. As for the verde enchiladas and fajitas I would rate them a 3/5 could be fresher and more flavoring not sure if I can pinpoint the taste. The flan for dessert was excellent. The shrimp Brochette was actually really good just burnt, also I wouldn't serve the butter with this appetizer it just didn't make sense. Would par it with another salsa/sauce. Definitely not butter."

"A buddy of mine recommended coming here for the chicken fried steak, so the wife and I made it out this past Saturday to grab lunch. We always like grabbing an appetizer or two just to try things out. We love deviled eggs so we gave theirs a try. They were delicious!! We also had the Chili Lime Shrimp and let me tell you, that the shrimp were perfectly cooked and the sauce they had these guys setting on had a nice spice kick to them. I highly recommend them. Both appetizers came with thinly sliced jalapenos, this is Texas so yeah, we put jalapenos on everything. ;-)The ambiance is pretty cool. It feels wide open but yet if you get a booth, the walls are high enough to keep your table private. I will say this, I can see this place getting loud. We were greeted with a smile and immediately sat down. We also had a great waitress that was just super friendly and was very attentive. We will be back and for those drinks that I saw on the cocktail menu."

They served the children first which I really appreciate because they can be a handful if not taken care of. The event had a cash bar and the bartender was a master of his trade making some amazing old fashioneds. He also recommended a great wine. Metler Zinfandel. We had a choice between chicken, fish or steak. I opted for the steak which was cooked perfectly medium rare. The Brussels sprouts were charred very badly and so was not so great. They brought several rounds of appetizers to the table and they were all great. The service was great here. I'd like to try the regular menu some time. Give this place a try they do good."
