"The Kenny's Franchise are some of my favorite' spots in Dallas from the wood fire grill, Italian to the burger joint. To that end, it is why this review is kind of bittersweet. We stood waiting to be seated for about 15 minutes after two people stated they would seat us and never came back. Finally, a young lady with a chefs coat came out and sat us. That was a little frustrating and kind of set the tone for our lunch. We had cocktails and ordered burgers and our waitress was fine and the food dis not disappoint. Burgers were delicious as always!"

"This restaurant is so cute inside, very aesthetic and beautifully designed. Food was delicious, we enjoyed the samosas, hummus, chicken shawarma, chicken kabob, and kufta kabobs as well as the mango and strawberry mojito mocktails. The service was also great! Our waitress checked on us often.I also wanted to mention that the five stars is in part due to the hostess in the front. She was so kind and really helped with our son who was getting a bit fussy. She made him a balloon hand out of a glove and a fun toy out of a water bottle. We very much appreciate her and would come back 100% because of her!! Thank you if you read this!!!"

"Did you ever go to the old Denton Independent Hamburger Company? If so, this is lime old times. Big hand-cut fries. Burgers cooked over fire in front of you. I got the cheeseburger and a side of cheese fries. Both have a cup of grated cheddar melted over each. It's really good. I got my burger all the way with mayo and mustard. To my pleasure, the mayonnaise was not sweet salad dressing like Miracle Whip, but instead was savory. The portions were generous.There are a few covered outdoor tables that overlook the new 50 West music venue open to the east side. There are several booths inside and maybe some tables. It's not enormous. I'm pretty stoked to have this in Krum."

"Yall. New favorite burger place for us right now. The Burger House takes an American classic and infuses it with Mexican flavor. These burger patties were well salted and seasoned - NO bland burgers here! They are generous with cheese, toppings and overall portion size. What more can I say?! Seeing the size, I had originally thought I was just going to eat half...5 minutes in I'm already close to done. Was just the perfect salty, juicy flavor. I washed my jalapeño cheeseburger down with an agua de Jamaica and the pairing was perfect - the sweet tartness of the agua with the salty, spiciness of the burger.Now the best part - THE CARNE ASADA FRIES. YALL. These are NOT an after thought...I regretted not just ordering that as my main meal! Not that my burger wasn't perfection! The carne asada was perfectly cooked - no chewy dry meat, seasoned and again the freshness of the veggies with the hot savory meat and fries with the cooling effect of the sour cream. "After an early casting of my ballot down the street,I sought out this spot for some heavy fuel to propel me through the day.This cafe has been here forever and about 15 years since I've eaten here . It used to be crowded throughout their breakfast and lunch operating hours. However,8:30 and I'm the only one here? I immediately feel on guard and ready to make a decision to leave before I have an average breakfast experience.The friendly waitress finally appears handing out menus and taking drink orders.I ask her if there's been a change of ownership and she responds "yes a new Partnership". At least she was honest.I've seen it a lot lately. These older traditional family run cafes changing hands due to retirement,death or fatigue. It's predictable as the once well oiled machine begins slipping.I decided to throw caution to the wind and give it a chance. I'm glad I did. They serve up a multitude of daily breakfast plates for $12+ dollars. Ours were decent but not memorable.I'm afraid these endangered species cafes are no longer in demand and slowly withering on the vine. However,if your in the area and want to fuel up for the day,I say...Go!"

While they differ a bit based on the neighborhood, one thing you can count on is the service and food/drink quality. This location is unique because of the location. They can be extremely if there an event taking place at any of the stadiums. With that being said they still do an amazing job at taking care of the guest. Ally in particular is an assets to this location and one of the reasons I keep coming back. She is always in a great mood, even when customers are being difficult. She is the type of person who remembers what you like but also treats everyone as a regular with fantastic service. My favorite day to visit it Taco Tuesday! With this economy everyone can appreciate a $1 taco!! Ally is sure to make my cheat night a great one but not feel guilty about it!"

The food came out hot and was good but just typical bar food. The music was slow country that would put you to sleep and unfortunately we had annoying people sitting next to us being obnoxiously loud drunks. It was grown adults acting like frat kids. Our server was nice and when we first came inside, we were greeted and also said good bye to as we left. I had also asked our server to turn the fan off and he did it immediately. I appreciated that. I wanted to give this place 3 1/2 stars but since there's no half stars, I did 3. It wasn't quite 4 stars because I probably won't be back and felt it was just average."

"I love the grill. It's a dive, but in a great way. The ladies who work here are super nice. The food is always super flavorful and properly made. The pork and barbacoa is braised in the juices until tender and juicy. The chili pork is spicy as hell. It's also very tender and succulent. The Barbacoa was not spicy at all but very juicy and tender also with great flavors. I have a hard time eating 3 of the tacos in one sitting. Normally I'll eat 5 spicy pork tacos at fuzzy's cause they are smaller. Here the meat pours out the sides of the tacos. If you are a boring gringo, they have decent burgers and gyros. At least that's what my friends tell me. I can never order anything but the beautifuly braised meats."

"We always visit, and I mean ALWAYS, Sweetipie's but decided to give Rooster's one good try. We were not disappointed! We were seated immediately and our orders were taken to the kitchen promptly. The food took less than half an hour to receive despite the busyness of Friday lunch rush. We started off with a half-order of bacon cheese fries which were soooo good! They are served with ranch. I ordered a patty melt since it was starred on the menu as a favorite. It was amazing, the sweet caramelization of cooked onion topped a cheeseburger and had a delicious sauce. I could only finish half the sandwich, it's huge. My kiddo had the Texas sliders (kid's meal comes with 2 sliders and the adult slider meal comes with 3). Hubby ordered a three meat plate, which I thought was just okay. The sausage piece I sampled from his plate was kind of burned and tasted like it had been reheated. I'm picky about smoked meat though, so I don't order unless I see it being smoked in front of me (ie Hard Eight) out of fear of it being old and dry. I do have a few cons to point out, but I didn't deduct stars since overall it was an enjoyable visit. Our server didn't keep our drinks full, she did walk over after we had our food to ask if we needed anything though. Also, she didn't offer to-go boxes even when she noticed how much food we had leftover. There is a bar so if you are looking for a Date Night idea, perhaps Rooster's would be a spot to try in the evening hours."

"Oh my goodness. We have been wanting to go here for a while but they were closed for repairs or something. When we passed by one day we saw that they were open and had to try it out.I love kimchi. Kimchi is love, kimchi is life. So when I saw the Kimchi burger I was immediately drawn to it. I'm not a burger fan, so at first I was skeptical to try a burger with kimchi and take the risk of the kimchi not being great. With my husband cheering me on to try it, I ordered it.We sat down, and our orders were brought to us. My goodness guys. These burgers were the size of my head. The pictures I took do not do them justice. We are staring at these two behemoths and don't even know how to start. One thing I do want to suggest is maybe giving us like a knife or asking if we wanted it cut in half. Maybe there were knives somewhere but I just didn't see, but I will definitely be asking for it to be cut next time!This burger was perfection. The kimchi was amazing, the burger was tender and juicy. The only bad thing is, I couldn't even finish 1/4 of it. Well is that a bad thing? I asked for to go boxes and ate the rest throughout the day. Literally a meal that fed me all day. The staff=amazing. The burgers and fries=fantastic. The atmosphere=chill and I was boping with the music.I will return to try more items from the menu, why would I not?!"

"Always passed this place up on my way to Kroger from Woodside Drive. One day I had a routine doctor's visit and was really craving a burger afterwards. While my go to burger spot is at Parks Mall didn't feel like mobbing that way and searched in my area and found Nearly Famous. I'm a sucker for a catchy named establishment and the proximity to my house was unmatched. I walked in and it was busy, which is always a happy site to see, but there was only one worker who I think was the owner, but he was taking it all in stride with the multiple orders that he had. Inside is plentyful seating but a little tight. It's a simple establishment to eat your burger and go. After talking with some other polite, patient patrons, my loaded fries and double cheeseburger were ready in about 15 minutes. Establishment also has an amazing "pay it forward" policy that you should inquire about if you don't already know about it. If you like to be a bit philanthropic or looking for a good deed to do for the day, you can help someone in need by contributing. When I got home and started eating, everything was absolutely delicious. I added some avocado to my burger, and I am absolutely stoked that I have them within arms to reach of my house."

"What an awesome afternoon we spent at Shaw's Patio & Grill's patio! A friend of ours was presenting numerous readings from her published collection of poetry. We were really excited to hear her beautiful prose and words. On top of that, it was a perfect afternoon to spend on the patio. Even though it was February and technically winter, the temps outside couldn't have been better. It was a glorious Sunday afternoon to be outdoors in Ft. Worth.Unfortunately, we found out that Shaw's kitchen closes at 4:00pm on Sundays. The only food item from the bar were chips and salsa. I don't know if they're making their own salsa, but it was really good with just the right amount of punch to it. As we were enjoying Shaw's excellent frozen Margaritas, we ended up getting a refill of chips so we could finish the cup of salsa. We didn't want to leave any behind.On top of the wonderful duo of musicians who were entertaining us, we also found out that on Sunday afternoons "Club Church" was held on the patio. It's a "not in your face" very casual service with scripture reading and even communion. It was nicely done. My wife and I both decided that we want to come back to Shaw's when the kitchen is open to try some of their delicious selections from the menu."

"I'm recommending Big Tony's for the catfish, seafood basket which was too good for words!!! That's almost my grandmother's recipe (one other place in Texas makes it the same) & those Chef's know how to knock it out!!! Wish I'd gotten everyone's names but the Order taker /Cashier and Chefs were so nice and thoughtful during their busy lunch. She raced around to clean tables & took orders, one of the chefs brought me extra tartar sauce that they make in-house. It's really got some secret recipe goodness! The shrimp were cooked to perfect & three times better than the fancier shrimp my cousins & I had at a place in Arlington a few day before. We're all visiting family from out of state & now we know where to go in the DeSoto areafor a great basket of fish, shrimp, banana pudding -- oh and those spicy fries!!! Not super spicy (though we can take it!) but very crispy & better than any fries we had in the Dallas area. (A Paris, Texas restaurant came close!) Thank you, Big T's -- we will be back!!"

"This is my new favorite street taco place in Grand Prairie! I love the trompo taco plate, never dry and the meat is delicious. I have never had a bad serving of rice, everything is fluffy and well-cooked and the plate comes with grilled onions in addition to the raw onion-cilantro mixture. With tax, the taco plate with a drink is $7.57, which is a great deal! There are tables inside the gas station if you want to eat on-site, plenty of parking, and both Coke and Pepsi options for drinks. The staff is always so sweet and will speak in both English and Spanish. Next time I come I want to try the giant tortas or chorizo plate!"
