So, finding a Guatemalan restaurant brought immediate excitement, as I'd never had the opportunity to sample food from that country. The restaurant is fairly large, with an amply sized dining area as well as a coffee shop, bakery, and small store.Upon my arrival it was pretty busy, with a wait of roughly 20 minutes. I figured surely this place had to be good! Once seated I was given a rather extensive menu that had a multitude of options I wasn't expecting. Let's start with the drinks; they have a large selection of hot and iced coffee beverages, from regular coffee to specialty flavored and seasonal lattes in addition to fruit flavored creations and smoothies. Essentially, whatever kind of coffee you fancy, they have it!The food menu is vast, and there are an abundance of traditional as well as American breakfast items ranging from enchiladas and chilaquiles to omelettes, French Toast, and pancakes. Although it wasn't on the menu, the server was accommodating and allowed me to get a mocha. After a long hard look, I decided on the eggs with loroco and cheese. The mocha was a creamy blend of chocolate and espresso that was quite satisfying, while the eggs came with plantains, refried black beans, salsa, and a slice of cheese. Wow, the infusion of flavor was something to behold! The eggs were perfect, while the black beans and plantains delivered a boost of savory satisfaction. The best part of it all? "I don't visit my friends and family in Mansfield often (it's been 10 years), and we try different places but Our Place is the only place we have breakfast.The ambiance is delightfully cozy. They've freshed and expanded it in the decade since I was last there; all my favorite decor items were still there, still fresh looking among the newer things. And they all looked so good together.The wait staff is friendly and prompt and super helpful. And the food is always good.The last time I was there - 10 years ago - I had the pancakes and eggs with bacon and I still remember it. A whole decade later. Good food. They've changed the menu slightly but all my favorites are still there. This time, we ate there twice. Saturday morning, I chose the Texas Waffle plate, with eggs and bacon. And this time, they served the coffee in pottery mugs, lovely large pottery mugs. And they sold them. I got the dark blue one and will enjoy it and the memory of the people working there - hopefully not for another whole decade. I might return sooner. But until then, I have the lovely mug.We also ate there Sunday, before I returned home. This time, I had one of hte mini breakfasts - 1 egg, 1 piece of bacon, and 1 biscuit - plenty to see me off on my return journey.As always - delightful waitstaff, prompt, helpful, friendly, and the food hot and fresh, well prepared and delicious.The best parts haven't changed in a decade and I hope they last decades longer."

Let me start by saying this location is crazy busy (Sunday morning) and extremely loud, almost to the point where it is difficult to converse.We did the wait list thing, showed up on time, and still ended up waiting another 15 minutes or so after that. We were seated by the kitchen which added to the noise level.My second main point is that the food was good, but not as good as downtown. The wife's corned beef hash was dry. My chicken and waffles were good but not knock you socks off. The waffles were outstanding, light and fluffy, and the chicken was seasoned and not over-battered. Yet, something was missing to bring it all together. The sausage gravy is very good.They work really hard when the restaurant is so busy and so I understand our server may disappear for a time. When we had his attention he was efficient. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. We are still fans of Yolk, but we prefer the one downtown."

I've seen this place during the late party evenings but never during the day walker's shifts because I'm usually in bed and can't be bothered to leave it. Ask Eddie. It's true. I park my car right across the street from the bar windows to people watch, watch my car, and enjoy the brightness of the sun like an ancient Chinese grandpa while enjoying my glass of water. But I digress to the food. Touch down taco on corn - jalapeño wrapped bacon with eggs and smothered with cheese - I would probably ask them to melt the cheese a little bit but the flavor was stellar. Chef's favorite omelette - goat cheese, carmalized onions, mushrooms, brisket - flavors were lost for me. The mushrooms had texture and flavor that was absorbed by everything, you had the tang from the cheese, and the brisket didn't really do much. It was okay to say the least. Pancake - can't mess that up! For a single mini flap jack it was good."

The patio at Maple Landing perfectly faces the take off path of Southwest Airlines. The service is incredible. No sooner than seated, our beverage orders were taken. Some great suggestions were offered. They had brisket sausage. Yes, for brunch. I had the fluffiest french toast, with a ginormous pile of the plumpest, juiciest fresh blueberries ever. My eggs were a perfect over medium. My son ordered pancakes. To be honest, as big as they were, one would have been plenty. Super light, rose high enough to block a planes take off. Topped with caramalized bananas, nothing needed syrup. Best of all was the service. Every aspect of this experience was 6 star. Yelp has kind of spoiled me. I know know what to expect, and where to find it. The food and service was 5 star. The patio view of others flying off to great adventures earned a 6th star. Heck, you could go and just get coffee or a cocktail with them. You'd be happy with your breakfast! We were last there with a group so we had an order of biscuits, pimento cheese and entrees. I tried their chicken biscuit sandwich. It had a fried chicken thigh, kale apple slaw and honey. It was delish! Surprisingly, I also really enjoyed the pimento cheese. I'm not a typical pc gal, but this one seemed to have more flavor and heat to it. Overall, we had a really lovely brunch!
