"We came to visit Dallas a few months ago and saw Dos Tacos. My husband kept mentioning we should try it. Let me start by saying don't be fooled or even a little nervous to try it out because it's attached to a car wash/gas station. It is very clean and I love the outside patio if you decide to eat your food there. We both ordered taco platters I did the classic and he got the loaded. My tacos were al pastor and it was okay there was something missing. My husband enjoyed his taco but didn't wow over them lol Here's why I'm giving them a 4 is because we also ordered quesadillas and they were delicious. I got the spicy chicken and my husband ordered the steak. The quesadillas were a good size and had a lot of the chicken & steak throughout every bite. I love quesadillas but sometimes feel like the protein is lacking not the case here. If you're in the area give them a try"
"Nothing I love more than a good hole in the wall spot, and this place is the embodiment of that. The people, so sweet and helpful. The food, insane. My fiance and I recommend this place to all of our friends. It feels like we go here every weekend! You will not be disappointed if you stop by."

"I have been here twice, and I feel like it is enough to write a review. Granted I got the same burrito twice and I was not disappointed. The service was fast given that I called in my order. The inside is nice and clean it's welcoming. The reason for the 4 stars is cause it's on the higher priced end along with their hours. But other than that I will continue to go here"
"Delicious food, quick service. Clean restaurant and relaxed atmosphere. Lots of great options for food as well."
"Food looks pretty and taste good. The menu is good, very big. My friend got the french toast and it looked PHENOMENAL so I might have to come back to try. I got the american with classic eggs bacon and pancakes. Everything was good and for the price it can't be beat!"
"Super great atmosphere, coffee, and people. Sometimes the making of the coffee is a little slow because of volunteers but I don't mind at all :)"
"Hands down, best comfort food I've ever had. Everything was so good! I cannot wait to share this place with my family and friends. It's a little out-of-the-way but so worth it. Perfect excuse for a road trip.I had the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. My daughter had the mac & cheese burger with sweet potato waffle fries. Everything was delicious including the ice tea with crushed ice. Perfect."
"I haven't been to this location in about 3 years or so. There are two simple and innocent reasons for why I don't come more often. First, I'm usually on my way somewhere and not hungry when I'm at this intersection. Also, their second store is much closer to my usual route and I've been content with frequenting that spot. However, stopping by on a Saturday morning just after 10am reminded me of all the things this location has to offer! First, for those of you passing through, this location is super easy for getting on and off I35 without disrupting your trip too much. It's next to the Care Now and behind the Dickey's in the corner of the strip.Second, this taqueria has a better layout and is less crowded with their seating, so it has a more relaxed atmosphere. Also, they have about four tables out front in a patio area. It's not covered, so that will depend on the weather. It is shaded in the mornings due to the height of the building. This location is extremely fast and that's actually harder to find in a taqueria setting, so they get major props for that! People had to go orders ahead of me and I still got my food within 5 minutes.I ordered the taco plate, which is my go to at both locations, and a medium agua fresca. With tax, this came out to exactly $10. I ordered the asada, pastor and carnitas. All 3 are executed a little better here than at the one on University, but it's just minor things. The asada is less chewy, the pastor is less greasy and the carnitas aren't as dry. The seasoning was on point for all 3, as I would expect from either location. Even the potato that comes with the plate is a little more flavorful. The beans, rice and agua fresca are about the same, which is to say very good and flavorful.I regret not getting the barbacoa. As we had stopped in on a whim, and a very nice lady was immediately ready to help me, I ordered off the top of my head as I scanned the list of meats. What I should have done is ordered the barbacoa. The barbacoa at the second location is the best I've had in Denton and I've never had it from here. Judging from everything else on this visit, I bet it would have been just as outstanding if not more so!They had 6 agua fresca's ready to go. I went with the Jamaica and it was quite good. They also had breakfast tacos stocked on the counter for grab and go. They have fountain drinks and bottled drinks and ready made desserts available as well. This Taqueria Monterrey is extremely organized and clean, I really like it a lot. It's a great stop for solid food and I'm glad I got a nice reminder of that with delicious agua fresca, yummy rice and above average, well seasoned meats. A 4 1/2 star experience that deserves to be rounded up for speed and service because you can see they are more prepared than many of the other local taquerias around."
"We went here on a weekday night for dinner with some friends and the restaurant was pretty busy. Their patio area is enclosed so it was nice to sit out there and it wasn't too cold or noisy. Our food was all very good. My entree of the filet was amazing, my friend got the steak frites and said the chimichuri on it was great! My girlfriend's soufle was also incredible and she wished she could order again! Our service was great as well!I would definitely recommend!"
"I come here often and the food and service is always great. They have a big menu, I have tried several different dishes and they are all great. It is also super affordable , compared to other breakfast restaurants."
"Being from Calfornia and frequent trips to Mexico. It took me YEARS to find some good ass Carne Asada, YEARS. This place is definitely number one so far after many, many try's. The service was great. Just a small simple place with amazing food! They also have a super great salsa bar. I got 2 Carne Asada, 1 Cabeza, 1 Asado and 1 carnitas. My only regret is that I did not get all of them Carne Asada. Will be back and I cant wait to take my wife here."
"Terrible food, disgusting flautas that aren't anything like the picture on here. No flavor at in anything the rice, beans it all sucks. Will never go back ever."

Food is good service is great as well. But one thing I can say is that it is expensive for the portions you get.

I found La Pasadita via Yelp: it's about a seven minute drive from our home. The translation means "the passageway" but this is not a narrow alley of foods. There was plenty of parking when we went there for breakfast during the week, but I think even on a busy weekend the parking would not be a problem. You can't miss it because of the bright colors. This immediately put me in a good mood and I was happy to find the color scheme extended to the interior as well. The dining room was immaculate. As you enter, rhumba to your right as you'll order at the counter. The staff is very helpful with regards to explaining ingredients and matching your hunger level to their delicious offerings. I was starving, so I had one of the breakfast plates and Frank opted for the smaller breakfast bowl. The restaurant was not crowded at 8AM but if crowded there are a variety of seating options from intimate to staff meeting. Our meals were delicious and I look forward to enjoying many more of the La Pasadita's tasty foods. Prices were in line given the quality of food and the South of the Border ambience.

Looking for a spot to eat while shopping in Cedar Hill and this place pops up on Yelp. It didn't disappoint! The location is easy to find. Parking directly in front. Walked in to a quaint self seating dining area. Outdoor seating is also available. Greeted quickly and handed menus. It was no time until we had drinks and orders were taken. It really seemed like just a couple of minutes and the food was delivered. Wow. This might be the best little breakfast/brunch spot ever. The food was so delicious! I cannot believe how tasty everything was. The pancakes might be the best I've ever had. Light, fluffy, slightly sweet. Sooo good! This is absolutely my new brunch spot.

My granddaughter & I found this place while looking for somewhere new for breakfast and were so glad we did!We timed it right - they were not busy at all at 10am on a Saturday, so we grabbed a booth instead of waiting to be seated (sorry!) and were promptly approached by Chelsee. She was smiling, asked questions and was genuinely interested in getting our order right.I ordered a vanilla latte $5.50 and she ordered a caramel macchiato $5.85. I never eat all my food - it's a problem, lol. So I ordered the oatmeal $9 and the pancake combo $16. My eggs were cooked according to order and everything was so good! I only had a few bites of everything, as the latte & water had filled me up. I've had better lattes, so I switched to regular coffee. My grand had the french toast combo which she loved.Great service, great food, we will definitely be back!

Stumbled upon this coffee shop tonight. Not only was the service friendly and the coffee good but the feeling of being in a place where healing and freedom happens fills the place with peace and joy. Kristin talked to us about what they do at Freedom House and the importance of the coffee shop to the ministry. The space is lovely, some comfy couches or large tables are available. There were a couple of groups there tonight and it made the place lively. I'm glad places like this exist in the community. We will not only be coming back but we will be telling all of our family and friends about it.

This taqueria is amazing. They always have good service, the quality is always consistent, it's surprisingly affordable considering how good it is and there has never been a long wait even when they are busy.So far I've only tried various tacos, you can get them with either flour or corn. I typically don't like corn tortillas but their corn tortillas are amazing. They also ask if you want cilantro and onions. It's no brainer to me but there are some that apparently don't like cilantro like my wife so I'm glad they ask so you have the option to get it without cilantro.I have tried most of their tacos, my favorite by far is asada. Al pastor, barbacoa and chorizo. I haven't had tacos this good anywhere else and I have had a lot of tacos.I tried the huevos rancheros while it was good it didn't wow me like their tacos does. This is a must-try restaurant if you like tacos.

"Food was fabulous and the interior is very hip! We went around 10am on a Sunday and did not have a very long wait. The outside is gorgeous as well. Would definitely recommend if in the area."
"Super legit Birriia tacos! Authentic food at its best. Highly recommend this little gem."
"After an early casting of my ballot down the street,I sought out this spot for some heavy fuel to propel me through the day. This cafe has been here forever and about 15 years since I've eaten here . It used to be crowded throughout their breakfast and lunch operating hours. However,8:30 and I'm the only one here? I immediately feel on guard and ready to make a decision to leave before I have an average breakfast experience. The friendly waitress finally appears handing out menus and taking drink orders.I ask her if there's been a change of ownership and she responds "yes a new Partnership". At least she was honest.I've seen it a lot lately. These older traditional family run cafes changing hands due to retirement, death or fatigue. It's predictable as the once well oiled machine begins slipping.I decided to throw caution to the wind and give it a chance. I'm glad I did. They serve up a multitude of daily breakfast plates for $12+ dollars. Ours were decent but not memorable.I'm afraid these endangered species cafes are no longer in demand and slowly withering on the vine. However,if your in the area and want to fuel up for the day,I say...Go!"
"I came here for a work lunch, had no idea the are this place is on existed. It is a really cool area and The Tavern fits right into the area...I will give this place a 5 on atmosphere. They have done a great job bringing in the tavern feel and ambiance. The place has a really nice vibe. The service was really good. Our waiter was was attentive without being obtrusive. He checked in regularly and got us everything we needed. Our food came out in reasonable time and was fresh and hot.I ordered the Lemon Pepper Chicken. It came with mixed veggies and mashed potatoes. The chicken was good but the lemon was a bit overpowering in some bites. The veggies were seasoned with lemon pepper as well, and that was a little too much. Mashed potatoes rocked.Fun place, I will be back!"
"If I could, the score would actually be a 4.5 but, here we are. Bloom is a charming Mediterranean-inspired brunch spot that has something for everyone from young to old with standout items like Shakshuka and Nutella Crepes. The customer service was excellent right from the start, and I was particularly impressed with our server, Kiara. She went above and beyond to tailor our recommendations to my tastes, ensuring I had the perfect seasonal dish. The overall atmosphere was just as inviting as the food, with an interior that felt like a quaint French Bistro, adding to the overall dining experience. But, my imaginary -.5 comes from the reservation/seating process. Despite having a reservation for two, we ended up waiting for over an hour to be seated. The hostess seemed overwhelmed, struggling with both the online booking system and managing the influx of customers. This disorganization was frustrating and put a dent in what could have been a flawless experience. The other ding is the A/C when I visited in July it was out and I lost at least a pound in sweat; there was no warning/heads up but, hoping it's since been fixed."
"Always friendly and good home cooked food. Lots of seating never had to wait. I also ordered to go frequently and the food is always plentiful and on par with what you would get in the restaurant."
"(Chris Helmsworth voiceover)The vibe is Hawaiian Coffee paradise right on Dallas Parkway!Riley warmly greeted us!Went with the Day Dream! Coconut goodness! Cocomon w/ 4 shots. mmhmm. "I visited Salad and Go in Dallas, TX on Thursday, 6/27/24, around 4 PM.I decided to order the Cobb Salad. It came with a hard-boiled egg, bacon, avocado, tomatoes, romaine lettuce, mixed greens, and chicken. I opted for ranch dressing on the side. What I liked about the salad was that the ingredients were super fresh. It was light and refreshing in every single bite. The price point was very affordable as well. The customer service was pleasant and quick. I placed the order in the drive-thru line and received the salad in under 5 minutes. Overall, I truly enjoyed the salad from Salad and Go. I highly recommend coming here."
"Amazing food, friendly service and very unique coffee drinks that are sooo yummy! I eat here almost every time I come to town, highly recommended"
"Good healthy breakfast and great service. A variety of pancakes and they are delicious."
"Dee, the manager was absolutely outstanding & above & beyond & beyond!! Because of him we will be back as many times as we can! Also, the food, the ambiance and a fantastic, healthy menu certainly were not overlooked!"
"Why no one ever told me of this place. OMG, this is one of the best hidden gems in Denton. May not be so hidden. Perhaps I'm the last one to know about it. Before the first bite, I was in love. The waitress was wonderful. She walked us through the menu and was as much excited as we were. Then the food was to die for. I had the chicken omelette, but I want to try everything on the menu. This my new Saturday hangout. Please try this place out. You will not be disappointed."
"Customer service is great, food came out fast and was plentiful, I ordered the chicken fried chicken with eggs, grits and pancakes. Pancakes had a good sweetness to them and were fluffy and good, chicken fried chicken was a nice portion and tasty. Grits could've used a lot of salt (but that was an easy fix) after adding salt, pepper, and cholula they were good. Love the ambiance, it's small and quaint but has good music and a good feel.Sorry no pic. Ate it too fast O_o"
"Cristina is a remarkable woman with an incredible story. This woman has transformed this former HWy 144 bait shop into our favorite restaurant in Granbury. The staff, service, and the quality of her food is superb. Everything we have ordered tastes incredible. The portions are generous. I love their authentic Mexican breakfast. And her Chili Rellenos and her tacos are wonderful. BYOB because she doesn't have her liquor license yet. They do have free margaritas two days each week. But her iced tea is also the best I've had in Granbury. And check out how huger her menu is! There is something for everybody at La Fondita de Cristina."
"I came here last Friday evening for dinner and the place was packed. I managed to get a seat at the counter looking into the kitchen. I was promptly greeted and checked on by several of the staff, even though the kitchen was crazy busy! I was given the complimentary chips and salsa assortment. The salsa and pico were soooooooo good! I couldn't stop eating it! I ordered strawberry frozen margarita and the El Miguelito entree. Everything was delicious, although the presentation of my entree was sloppy and was tipping to one side of the plate. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability of the menu, however beware the prices do add up as you order more drinks of course. The food was really good and I left stuffed. The ambiance of the restaurant is really cute and trendy. It makes for a nice date spot or setting for a small gathering of friends and family. This was my first time at any Mesero location and it certainly won't be the last!"
"Everyone was so warm and welcoming here! Got the chicken and waffles. Chicken fried perfectly and waffles had a pleasant surprise in side. BACON! So good. Once a month cause I got the itis!"
"The hills Blueberry Pancakes as a side and bacon were perfect! My boyfriend like the Chicken fried steak and eggs too."
"If you're in downtown Dallas and want some breakfast Elm Street Cask & Kitchen is a good choice. They also have lunch and dinner too, but I just had breakfast. The decor is cool and the restaurant is clean. The wait staff were all nice and breakfast was great.Check them out!"
"I chose their popular German pancakes and didn't like them. The pancakes were way too sweet that I could literally taste the diabetes. It's funny because I specifically asked for no powdered sugar but they still added it anyways. Our server was nice but maybe a notepad would be better than just memorizing the order. My wife didn't have a good experience either when she called the restaurant to ask if the biscuits and gravy had eggs in it. They told her no on the phone but said yes after we ordered them in the restaurant. She's allergic to eggs by the way. I will try again and the next time I'll ask again for no sugar and maybe no lemon either on my German pancake."
"The best senior menu arround. I picked the pork chop that are Homemade pan fried . The pork chop was huge . It was big enough for two people. The pinto beans were homemade beans , you can taste the bacon flavor off it. The mashed potatoes were soo tasty more like home made, at least they were not tastless like cardboard . The Good Days resturant are consistent in their menu. And very well priced. Not like over ones head proce. Its like a small town resturant with customers of a small town P. S. Sorry my picture has bite taking off on it. Its bc I couldnt wait to eat it"
"I tried, I tried and I can't give a good review. I've been here a half a dozen times and the burritos are all the same...luke warm, slightly cooked, and half melted cheese. I've been through the drive-through each time. The people at the drive-through are super nice and welcoming. However, when I leave with their burritos, they're always the same: luke warm (like really luke warm), slightly cooked, and barely melted cheese (like you can see the cheese unmelted). Also, the salsa *3 times* had a hair in it, and the green had a stench I couldn't use *twice*. I hate giving this review, but I really wish they'd fix this. Great location, great concept, and EASY food to make! Their green salsa is decent, but last time I had it, I had a hair in it. I know we all make mistakes, as do restaurants, but c'mon, my experience has been pretty bad. I also asked for either a cold soda, or water...all have been luke warm. I'm sad. I wanted to visit this place weekly, or even more, to my journey to Lowe's but I just can't take the luke warm, almost cold, breakfast burritos anymore. Montes, if you fix this, I will be the first to provide you at least a dozen more visits each month! Pretty please?"
"This place is so nice! Honestly best coffee shop in town. Good vibes every time I go! Great to sit and hang out or do some work. Coffee is good but the chai latte is probably my favorite. Staff is very friendly and always has a smile on their face. Service is fast and yummy!"
"Definitely my hidden gem, located in a building. They mainly serve people in the office, but I love the friendliness, ambiance of this place! My breakfast tacos here.. $2.09 and they're huge! I love it! And they can pretty much custom make any coffee drinks you would like! Mine is the iced white chocolate mocha (skinny), definitely better than the usual Starbucks quality and price!"
