Les G. "This entertainment c NYT is pretty sweet. There is so much going on inside, including a small zip lining area. There's an entire game area that's unbelievable. There's also a restaurant that's inside and outside, and has large screens for tv viewing. The theaters are LARGE with recliners and pods. Lots of room to stretch out. So much sound the chairs shake. The popcorn and drinks are self-serve, so I was shocked that they ask for tips. Of course it's up to you if you tip or not -- you could always tip yourself. But once inside in the recliners, you can order food to be delivered. That'd be a good time to tip."

Cole C. "We went here because of a pogo pass we purchased and are doing our damndest to take advantage of. We are not typical indoor playground people, mostly preferring the free and outdoor city park options.I thought this was an excellent choice for a billion degree afternoon when forcing my kids to play outside felt like it crossed a line into questionable parenting. It's basically a big McDonalds play place (like 10x the size) they can run around in for as long as they want. No time limit. Shoes off, socks required. On a Tuesday evening in the summer it was not crowded at all.I do have to tell you that my kids have renamed this place "poopmania" because they discovered not one but TWO separate poops on the play equipment in our two hour time span there. To their credit, the Kid Mania staff was prompt and thorough in their cleanup/sanitizing process, but the experience was still a little unsettling. How exactly does this occur with such frequency? Regardless, I don't blame "poopmania" for this experience, and we will for sure be back to use our second pogo pass and let the kids get some energy out on a hot or rainy day in the future."

Haley K. "Time Rift Arcade is a sister location to Electric Starship off of 377. Its a great location, in a shopping center with two restaurants in the same strip, with a few other restaurants across Harwood & Central, and dessert options. Plus, Time Rift does have drinks and some snack options. They have a number of old school consoles to be able to play on, along with a lot of awesome arcade games & pinball machines. Staff was friendly, and when we had an issue with one of the games not working, they came over to get it fixed really quickly for us. They have a small party room that you can reserve if you're planning on having a birthday party or get together here. It very much that dash of nostalgia that folks can enjoy!"

Ana A. "Cool concept just a bit outdated. The place reminded me of diversions game room. It has a bunch of arcade games and game counsels such as Nintendo/Xbox. We ordered a combo meal deal they had on the menu. It came with a large pizza, cheese sticks, fries/onion rings and 15 wings. The pizza and wings were better than we expected. The wings were just the right amount of crisp and very flavorful. Props to our server. He did great given that our party was large and assisted us mostly himself. He was never rude and attended to whatever we needed. Check in on Yelp and receive a free dessert."

Jen T. "We decided to do a company outing, and Cidercade won the most votes. Upon arrival, they have a parking lot in the front that was full since it was around 5:00pmish on a Friday. I didn't feel like street parking since you do tread into the residential area if it gets super packed. Luckily, I found some parking in the back of the building next to Splinters Axes & Ales. This place surely exceeded my expectation. Think arcade, food, and cider! The foodie in me would talk about the grub first. Their 10" thin-crust pizzas were delicious. I love how they have the flexibility of substituting the crust to either gluten-free or cauliflower for an extra free. The margherita pizza was light, flavorful, and yummy. The meat lover's pizza was on the drier side, but just as good. One of my coworkers was not a fan of pizza in general, so she opted for the cinnamon roll pizza that was a little too sweet for her palate. They also offer salads if you are avoiding carb overload. As for drinks, I had the unlimited soda, but in reality could only finish one cup of soda. Let's talk about the games. I had loads of fun playing Pac-Man and basketball arcade. Be prepared for pinball machines, pool tables, etc. The machines may look like you need tokens or coins, but the games are unlimited with the admission fee. It's definitely a great atmosphere for both the young and old to have a good time. Service was fast and efficient. I shall be back in the future."

It's also a good time for the family. I would suggest that they get better games tho. A lot of them seem redundant. Good for about an hour worth and that's it."

Haley K. "My oldest had just finished a theater production, and one of the mom's decided to have a cast party get together here. I'm glad she decided to have it here so that we could check out this arcade for the first time. The price for all you can play is extremely reasonable, and they seem to have decent rates for the snack bar. They have a party room that you can reserve as well, though I'm not sure how you go about getting that set up in advance. I liked how the games ended up being laid out. Spread out just enough and wasn't getting to hot to enjoy the experience with as many machines as they have going. I sent some pictures to some of my friends and they were surprised at some of the games they have here because they hadn't seen them in an in person setting in a number of years. Plus they have some cool decoration items ... Like a gremlin holding the candy bowl behind the table and some of the celebrity/character card board cut outs. Before we even left I had already made plans to come back when some of my friends are back in town. Until next time Electric Starship!!"

Jin C. "Came here for a birthday and definitely enjoyed our time there.Atmosphere - 4/5 - It is great for younger kids as it is smaller, so easier to keep an eye on them. Although the space is limited, there are plenty of games for the kids to play on.If you are hosting a birthday party here, please note that there are only 2 tables (kind of long), so it will not seat a large kid party. I suggest calling to get the actual number it can accommodate. Staff - 4/5 - Didn't really engage with them much, but they do seem friendly.Food - N/A - It was a birthday party, so it was catered from elsewhere. As mentioned above, they do have plenty of games for the kids. There was actually a race car arcade where if you kept winning, you were able to keep playing. I do not know any other place that has a game like that, so that was fun.Overall, my 3 year old had a great time here, and I can see ourselves coming back in the future."

It has several of my favs, Guitar Hero 3, Galaga, PacMan, DigDug, Ski Ball, Pinball.. etc. Place is pretty open, has restrooms upstairs and downstairs, very convenient. Pricing is resonable, $12 for adults all day. There is a monthly pass you can get which I've been thinking about getting, just waiting to switch from working nights to days. I've only been twice, so I'm sure I can write a more extensive review once I've been several times. But I am sold, this place is a great place to spend time with some friends."

Suzy B. "My husband and I have been golfing our way thru a number of states. We were happy we chose Jurassic Zone for our last nite in Texas. The greens were extremely well maintained and in good order. There were many challenging holes. They rated most holes par 2 or 3. Good luck. Quite a few of the what we call "ant hills". You know, if you don't get a hole in one and you're off to the side, tricky getting that little ball up that hill at close range. There were lots of kids inside with the amusement games, so great place for the fam. I wouldn't have a little tyke play this course. Gave it a 4 because no senior or military discount. Come on guys? But we had a great time and he beat me by 1 stroke!"

Kendall S. "We had a meeting nearby and had been wanting to see what Freeplay is like, so we popped into this one. We thought, oh let's just get a drink and take a peek at what's going on. Well you can't just get a drink, it's $12 (after tax) per person to get in at all. But y'all, it's so worth the price. All of the games are ready to play--no tickets, coins or scanners involved. It really is so fun and freeing to be able to walk up to any game and just immediately play knowing you have endless turns ahead of you! The skee balls just keep rolling out forever, haha. There's so many games here. Lots of retro video arcade games, which I'm not very familiar with outside of the few that were at my local Cici's Pizza growing up. Mortal Kombat, Pac-Man, a football game, I think? I feel like I spent significant time in there, I'm surprised I don't remember better. Going to Freeplay takes you back, definitely, but there are newer games too. So many pinball machines, lots of race-cars. Basketball tossing. Those dance games where you stomp on squares. Vintage pong. Pac-Man of course. Guitar Hero. Some kind of DJ game, haha. Something called "Granny and the Gators" where it appears you play as an elderly woman shooting alligators, ha! I played a few video games but mostly I like skee ball and reading menus. Speaking of menus, Freeplay has an impressive, extensive bar menu. This is what their website says about it: "we have one of the largest and best beer lists in the metroplex. named one of DFW's best bars, our award-winning bar also offers cocktails, wine, liquor, ciders, and spiked sodas. because we stock seasonal, limited-run, and exclusive beers, our drink list is subject to constant (almost daily) change." They have daily specials, too. We went on a Thursday which is 40% off all craft drafts. The food menu is great, too, and not what I expected. I thought it'd be more traditional, casual, bar food, like deep fried stuff and chicken wings (yum). But the options here are a little lighter and brighter.. for a starters you've got veggie crudités with a buttermilk dip, a fruit and cheese plate with crackers, hummus with veggies and pita, and mini street tacos with shredded green chili pork. Then there's 10 hot pressed sandwiches to choose from, served with potato chips. Lastly, there's 8 hand-crafted, personal-sized flatbread pizzas to consider. They honestly all sound so good, but if I could have one it'd be the Garlic Cheese flatbread: garlic olive oil, provolone, mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan, and fresh basil. Mhmm. There's a Freeplay closer to me in Arlington that I see myself visiting soon, because what's better than a cheese plate and skee ball??"

You can play pickleball and corn hole outside, go bowling, watch movies, and just snack and lounge around. It's a bummer that everything is a separate cost, but I hoped all the activities were bundled together in one price. I'm sure they have that option, though, and if they do, that would be phenomenal. We saw dune part 2. I thought you could order food in the theater but we couldn't, which was a bummer. The employees are very helpful and show me how to win certain prizes or reset the prizes for me when needed. My favorite game to play here is Angry Birds slot machine since it's easy to win tickets from there. The prices of the machines are decently priced. I came out winning so many plushies between my friends and I. We had the room for 45 mins to do cake and presents which was plenty of time. The kids enjoyed the whole event! I highly recommend this place for a kiddos birthday party! My only reason for rating 4stars instead of 5 is that we were not allowed to bring any food in except cake. My son wanted pizza and we couldn't bring that in- there is food/concessions there but nothing my son wanted to eat. Most birthday parties offer food and cake but this one we only did cake. On the other side of that, the party venue was a steal and offered extras such as the token room where the kids got to play for tickets and cash in their tickets for prizes. BTW, this place has been around for a long time! I remember going 25+ years ago when I was a kid. Great neighborhood place and way to keep it local!!"

Gabriella A. "I had my birthday here and it was pretty cool at first. I just stopped in when I first saw them. And thought that it was cool that a VR arcade was near me. They are super nice and friendly and the place was nice and clean. There website was a bit confusing but you can call and they set you up and make everything easy. When it was time to go they set us up in the VR increment. It was quick and painless and they made sure that we were taken care of. But the reason why I'm giving it such a bad review is that it fails at the VR. It's almost impossible to play the games. They use a Quest 2 system then they use a external app to run the games. And when you enter this app it is a jarring difference from the Main hub. I tried to play job simulator but it started to glitch, lag, pause randomly, and sometimes the screen would glitch to one side and the other would be just white screen. I thought it was just that one app so I tried a escape room type game but it was even worse. The music would fade in and out and the glitching made me go everywhere in the room. I thought it was maybe just my head set so I called a attendant. and when I exited the app it all stoped like it ran completely fine. So we rest the headset and it worked for a little bit then the problems started again immediately. So I rested it again it just started again so I just stopped. And when I asked my friend at the party if that happened to them too they also said the same thing. I just think the app that they were using just sucked and if they fix the games that the VR is running on they would be golden. Really this just sucks I would love to come back but it's just unplayable."
