A gem in an otherwise culinary wastelandThis bistro is located off the main lobby of the Westin at DFW. There are multiple budget hotels in the area and the only food choices within reasonable walking distance are Denny's, gas stations and an outdoor food shed at another motel.There is a well curated list of local craft beers (8). Make a point to ask for the separate alternative "healthy menu". The food on that menu is very different from the comfort food on the main menu and it is available in half orders. I tried a half order of chicken and avocado arepas and a half order of tuna tataki. Both were delicious and visually pleasing. Staff is attentive, engaged but not intrusive. Prices for these two items were $8 each, very reasonable.

Hotel restaurant inside the Westin that is above average for a typical hotel lobby restaurant/bar. I was in town for a week of training with bizarre hours so there were a few times I chose to eat here out of convenience. This includes a few nights at the bar and 2 nights in my room.The staff was never overly inviting but they were usually busy with a demanding crowd of hotel guests. Ordering through the Marriott app looked like a great option but it wouldn't work once they asked you how you'd like to pay. When you go downstairs and scan their QR code, it brings you to the same interface but on a website rather than an app, and that worked fine.The chicken wrap with fries was pretty good and was my go to. The house salad wasn't great and I wouldn't try it again. The half order of the tuna was decent but I loved the pickled veggies under them and would have just had a bowl of those!I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but having this inside your hotel for convenience is nice.

Food was decent and not too expensive even considering it's at Westin near an airport. That being said it took over an hour for Mahi Mahi tacos to come out. That was poor timing as I was tired and hungry when I sat down at the bar and ordered them. It was after 8:30 pm by the time they showed up and I have no idea what took so long.

Nice hotel bar and grill. Hit the spot after a cancelled flight meant another night in Texas. Sounds like a song. But at least the bar stays open late!!

Nothing bad to say about this hotel bar & grille. Great menu, attentive staff and food was great. Dips were all on point. Burger was cooked to order. Requested med rare and added Swiss cheese. Side salad with bleu cheese. All on point. I'm a huge fan.

Looked for someplace near our hotel for supper after driving all day from OKC. Turns out this restaurant is within the Westin. Regardless we were seated quickly (get there close to 5) and the waiter, Dominick, was informative and resourceful (when he couldn't find the drink I asked for he came up with something better). I had the half salmon with quinoa, Brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes. Hubby made his own pizza including cajun Alfredo sauce, sausage, mushrooms, and chicken. He let me have a slice, and it was very, very good. Thanks for a relaxing and delicious meal!

I really enjoyed my buffet breakfast at Byrn! There was a wide selection of foods. I went for the scrambled eggs, country potatoes, turkey sausage, fruit, yogurt, and coffee, but there were also breakfast pastries, a vegetable frittata, orange and apple juice, and more options available. The buffet option comes out to a little over $20 after tax and before gratuity.While the food was great, the best part of my dining experience was Maria. She greeted and sat me at a table, and checked in twice to see how I was doing and if there was anything she could do to make my experience better. Maria is so friendly and provides exceptional service in addition to great conversation. I enjoyed her so much that I will likely repeat the buffet breakfast just to say hi to her every morning that I'm here.

service was great, our waiter was a lone soldier on the floor but he really hustled. The atmosphere was relaxed with TV's on the walls and lots of space. The food hit the spot. my dinner mate had the quesadilla that was huge and tasty with the brisket. I had the Rib Eye which was done just right, due to the size and composition, lost 1/2 a star... Drinks hit the spot, loved the captain's wings.

Sat at the bar for 8 minutes while 4 bartenders chatted among themselves. No one greeted me, no one acknowledged me, no one asked me whether I would like a drink. One of the bartenders gave me a side eye for some reason. I'm here on a business trip...showered and put on deodorant, yet apparently wasn't good enough to get some service from this crew. I should have dined at the Denny's across the street! Westin's usually have much better service than this place.

Food was decent. We asked about tap beer then ordered one that wasn't available, so asked again about what was available. The hostess/waitress stated rudely "I just told you." It was a little loud and my husband doesn't hear well. We did order food and she was a little nicer. Maybe she was having a bad day.
