Burger Time Machine

I always want to support a small business over a large corporation. The staff are nvie and the burgers get the job done, with many options to choose from. What shocked me was the state of the bathrooms. I went into the ladies room and it looks like there is urine all over the walls. I would've never eaten here if I had gone in there prior to ordering. Please.... Have someone go in with some gloves, a mask and eyeglasses and deep clean those bathrooms and/or steam them. This mattersI would've preferred to email the business but they didn't have an email address.

This spot is the definition of "blast from the past". We came and quiet Sunday at 2:30 way past the lunch craze. The ambiance screams "throwback". They have a decent amount of people coming in and out. I wonder how we have driven past it without even thinking of it? Especially judging we both attended UNT 11 years ago. The service was friendly, fast and super affordable. We paid $30ish for two combo meals. I ordered the cowboy and hubby ordered the Star Wars burger. The burgers were good and for the price can't really be beat. 10/10 recommend.

This counter service restaurant is full of nostalgic memorabilia. We were greeted warmly upon entering. The food was served quickly. Everyone in our party enjoyed what they ordered. I got the Chicken Philly and my husband enjoyed his Cowboy Burger. This place is a Denton go-to for quick eats. Highly recommend checking it out.

Visited for lunch as this place was on my burger visit list and I was in Denton. Overall not bad, 3.5 probably but I am on a quest to visit all the top burger places in DFW and this place did crack my top 10 list. I like the unique atmosphere and they have lots of unique burgers to choose from. Please note my 3 rating is based on many top burgers joints in DFW, not comparing to chains etc.

It's been a while since I was this stuffed and satisfied! Burger Time Machine is a GREAT burger at a good price for 1/2 lbs. I didn't want to eat the whole burger in one sitting but I couldn't stop. The meat is well seasoned with a good char and the toppings were complementary, and didn't overpower the flavor of the meat. The bun is nice in size and although mine did have a barbecue sauce on it, it was not a sloppy mess. Really delicious, well proportioned burger and the fries came out, piping hot, fluffy, and they too were filling. I had the 1/2 burger, fries and coke for $15. The atmosphere itself is very relaxed with games like like Pac-Man and Galacia, there is even a small area for children to play, although there were no small children present when I was there. The staff is very friendly and efficient. My order was taken immediately and my food delivered promptly, I didn't see anyone standing around, everybody was hustling and providing customer service. The radio plays old hits like Ice Ice Baby, there are times you hear radio commercials, but there's nothing wrong with that. Overall clean from what I can see with simple self service coke products, a roll of paper towels and I like that they have a container of ketchup vs the nasty all hands on deck red squeeze bottle. I can't think of anything that they could do better so I guess it's a five-star rating for a very casual, stuff your belly burger and fries. Recommend!

Very good burger and fries. I had the Burger Time Machine burger with sweet potato fries. The person taking my order was polite and had my hot order out promptly. This is an older establishment but I was impressed with how clean it was. I will definitely go back a try another burger there.

We had some excellent burgers here while visiting town! I love diner-style burgers, so I chose one of the more basic ones, the galaxy burger. It was delicious! They have lots of unique toppings and options for their menu though if you're wanting something a little different. The food came out fresh to order, and they quickly cleaned off tables as people left. We tried a variety of the sides including fries and onion rings and all were crispy and not greasy, truly perfect. The nostalgic vibe is fun as well. If you're looking for a good ol' yummy burger, look no further!

Great burgers! Just the right amount of seasoning and flavor! Lots of variety and options. My goto is the chili cheese burger with mustard and pickles only. Super tasty and chili is just right, not too fancy, but also not canned flavor. Staff is always friendly too. I usually get it to go, but the diner ambiance and flair of the things from the past are interesting to look at while eating inside.

I hope Burger Time Machine never loses its charm. It's such a nostalgic feel when you walk in and see many classic movies referenced throughout.We ordered our food to-go and everything was well packaged. It was nice seeing all of the different things inside while we waited.The Texan Frito Pie was the cashier's favorite, so I thought to give it a try. The burger is a messy beast, but it's pretty good. It could use some salt or more flavor to the chili, but I'd get it again. I took a bite of the teriyaki, and it was pretty great! A well blend of flavor in that one. I love the house made fries. They were crisp and seasoned. I found out after we ordered that they have onion rings and curly fries I want to try next.

The food was amazing! Burger cooked very nicely. The service was great. Served in a timely manner. The building just felt grimy but what can you do when you go somewhere for the food, not the aesthetic?
