Bristol General Store

This place was highly recommended online and by the welcome center before we started the Bluebonnet Trail. Unfortunately we were here on a Tuesday and they do sushi starting Wednesdays through the weekend. The plus side was they did have tacos and we were told everything was freshly made and it was really good! We got both beef and chicken to try, the chicken was my favorite. My husband and I also got some fried rice to share and it was delicious as well. I honestly would not have made this our food stop without all of the recommendations and very glad we did.

My beautiful wife and I were driving the Bluebonnet Trail and this place was recommended to us. The interesting feature about this place was that they sold sushi, which isn't a big deal to me, since I don't care for it. If you want sushi from this place, we were informed that they don't offer it on Mondays. They did offer other Asian food as well as regular American fare. You order at the counter inside the general store. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries. It was incredible. One of the best cheeseburgers I've had in awhile. It was made fresh to order. My wife ordered the orange chicken with rice. Her meal was pretty good too. You could eat outside or they had an indoor eating area next to the general store. The rest of the place was a convenience store and gas station. Please give this place a try.

Texas, gas station, in the sticks, sushi. These things usually add up to disaster but not here. Really great rolls volcano roll and Texas roll were winners. The tuna tower? Yes please,may I have another? Tuna sashimi - was good not great, but check the first sentence. ;-)Fast and friendly too. The "dining room" is attached with community tables and plastic chairs. Nothing special here and they still serve you in Styrofoam to go boxes when you are eating in - otherwise it would be a 5 star review.

Of all the times I've ordered food from here it has always been amazing! I love how fresh my food tastes every time I order take out from this cute little spot. I always call in my order to pick up & their service is always on point. I love how I don't have to drive far away to get sushi. I have been missing out all these years without buying my sushi from here. Most definitely recommend this sushi spot for all your sushi needs. :) You will love it!

I always enjoy ordering from Bristol GS. The sushi is good. I was a little disappointed I needed to request wasabi and ginger. But the sushi was good. Fried Rice was moist and plentiful. Dumplings were good. Of course a little busy on the weekends. But all were patient and very kind. Always enjoy for my family and I to order and all share our favs.

This was a surprising little gem! Food was amazing, from the burgers to the sushi. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Out on the bluebonnet tour and was recommended that we stop at the BGS. Sure glad we did. Hit Taco Tuesday. Delicious chicken and beef street tacos with cilantro and onions. Great service. Friendly staff. Nice outdoor picnic area. Outstanding "gas station" food! Worth the visit!

The best sushi I've had in a while.We had the fried roll, fried California and the Texas roll.

We loved our stop at Bristol General Store. I have never been in such a clean gas station. They have plenty of drinks and snacks but they also have restaurant food to order. The burgers looked amazing but we were told we had to try the sushi! Yes gas station sushi. It was really good. Service was amazing. Everyone there was so kind and helpful. They have picnic tables out front and the. A side room inside that was super clean. And they have live music on Mondays!! Oh and they just got their liquor license so you can stop for a cold beer! We will be back!!
