Amazing food every single time!!! Today I got to try the chimichurri chicken sandwich and it was absolutely perfect. The waiter even recommended subbing the pinwheel crisps for the fries and getting extra chimichurri to dip them in. It was a great suggestion. I absolutely love the ambiance and the entire vibe this place gives off. The service has always been top notch every time I've been. I can't recommend Brick & Bones Backyard enough.

FoodI ordered the chicken and waffles, it came with a sauce on the meal. There was also a side of fries with the meal. Overall it was decent, lightly seasoned, but the mixture of sweet and savory wasn't as strong as I would have expected it. ServiceI sat at the bar, the service was good, our bar tender was attentive and made sure we had constant refills. There was also a waitress that kept checking in to make sure we were doing good with our meal.AmbianceThe location is actually an older house that was repurposed so entering there is a dining area with a couple of tables that looks like it used to be a sun room. Further back is the bar which is small with about 5 chairs and a tv along with several drinks. There is an upstairs portion but I'm not too sure if people are allowed to go upstairs. There is also an outdoor section that is being built and should provide a patio and some outdoor eating experiences soon.Its a decent location and I believe there is an original location downtown near Deep Ellum.

Service was excellent. They sat us right away on the second floor. Ambiance and lighting is cozy. Food was good. It is missing more sauce options as it can be a bit bland. All drinks (except cocktails) come in cans, no fountain drinks. Will give them a try again.

Hidden gem in Rowlett!!! Didn't even know this spot had popped up here but I'm glad it did because the food is so freaking good! I got the hot chicken, chimichurri chicken sandwich, poblano mash potatoes, habanero bacon mac, and Mexican corn. Yes, this was a lot of food for 2 people and no, we didn't finish it all. But no regrets! Everything was pretty good! The hot chicken was not spicy, but it did have some nice seasoning. The chimichurri sandwich was my personal (main dish) favorite. The mashed potatoes was good, just a little bland. They pair well with the meal though. The Mac and cheese was good, but the Mexican corn was the star. So delicious and vibrant!

Parking is off Rowlett Road, a bit tricky, on south side of the blue house. Staff is friendly and engaging. Big parties might have to arrange seating ahead of your visit. The menu is printed, and lighting is dim inside. Explore the online version before arriving. I picked "Sexy Chicken", side salad, and Poblano Mashed Potatos. Sexy? Maybe, a bit soggy. The kitchen is new here, so I will give them a break. The side salad & Poblano Mashtatos were awesome.

Tried this restaurant out last week and it did not disappoint. The place had a cool vibe and the hostess was very nice! The Forbidden Chicken and the Chimichurri Chicken sandwich were amazing and perfectly seasoned!

Such a chill, boho vibe, loves it. Live 5 min away, needed time away from our two year old (jesus that boy can't leave my ankle). I love my tofurkey but I eat chicken at this place. Backyard Salad is delicious and excellent drinks! They experiment with drinks every quarter. Amazing service. Try this place out. Jairo as a bartender is an absolute wonder.

Our server Sandy was wonderful! Our first time here and the food was FANTASTIC. I got the hot chicken wings with the habanero Mac and cheese. only description could be, if LeBron were to ever fall out of his prime, this meal would reinstitute his GOAT status. Life truly changed. I know true joy now.

Husband and I decided to try it since it was here in Rowlett. Glad we did. Chicken was big and juicy. They give big portions and I love the friendly atmosphere. We will return.

We've ordered this for delivery two times now. The food traveled very well, especially for fried food. We ordered the original chicken, tenders, and a sampling of their sides. The chicken was still warm, crunchy, and juicy but needed more salt in the brine. The sides sounded really interesting but were a little underwhelming and needed more of their main flavor (e.g. more pablano in their pablano potatoes) along with more salt. Overall though, we enjoyed it. A great new addition to the area!
