Wow, first timer for a Sunday Funday brunch, and Brew City knows how to have a good time!I was with a party of 9, and we were among the first group for brunch. DJ was our server, and he did an amazing job making us feel welcomed. He had great energy and was an overall excellent server--no complaints about the service at all.We started with the Mimosa Tower, per DJ's recommendation, and it was the perfect choice for a large group. Our flavors were strawberry-peach and plain pineapple--10/10!For my meal, I ordered 'Cakes, Bac & Yolks,' which is your standard eggs, bacon, and toast dish. It came with two generously portioned cinnamon nutmeg pancakes, scrambled eggs, a choice of meat, and breakfast potatoes. I added a side of sausage and stone-ground grits. The meal was a 7/10 overall. I wasn't a fan of the grits--they had an interesting flavor--and the eggs reminded me of hotel-style eggs, which weren't great. However, everything else was an 8/10.I later checked out their social media and realized that people go to Brew City for the vibes, not just the food--but why can't you have both?Brew City was definitely a good time, 100%. The DJ and host were exceptional, with great music and energy.Thank you, Brew City, for a fun experience!

Went here on a Sunday with a GF for brunch and ended up leaving without even eating or drinking and going somewhere else. It's like a club for brunch which is fine if that's what you're looking for. And I would've been fine with the vibe and all that if the staff was friendly and they were more accommodating. There were two of us, and they wouldn't let us add our name to the reservation list and they wouldn't let us add a chair to sit at the bar (we had found one chair but needed one more). It's like they didn't want our business......so say less we will go elsewhere. And that we did. I would not suggest going back here unless you want to be treated like your business doesn't matter.

I have visited this restaurant several times and several times I have also "tried" to visit this restaurant. Every time I visit I ALWAYS check not only the Google map operational hours but the actual restaurants website. I have gone here THREE times and they were closed. No message on their website or even social media. And let me be clear, I do not live around the corner. I live in downtown Dallas. And each time, was only coming north to go to this restaurant. Not that that should matter. It takes all of three minutes to update your hours on your website. But the better question is, why can't you keep consistent hours? I'm not talking about I've tried to go at 11'o clock at night. This was 6pm, 7pm during their regular "business hours". Then I went another time (most recently on New Year's DAY. Not Eve. And they were charging $10 to get in! Again NOTHING on their website. Now I know they can update that website as I've noticed they've added that they automatically charge gratuity, to said website. And yes, the music is always extremely and unnecessarily loud. Like, it doesn't even sound good. It was so loud, one time I had to sit outside in the front on the faux grass just so I could have a conversation with the people I was there with. Generally when I have had an opportunity to eat, the food is good. But it will never be that good, to continue to get my money. I'm sorry but I can't support black business, when ya'll don't be open for business!

This is one of my favorite places but this was my first time having their brunch and it did not disappoint! Word to the wise PLEASE make a reservation to avoid wait times. I didn't and waited around 30 minutes for a table and 45 for food after the order was placed. The food Definitely worth the wait and we had a great time. DJ and MC were the best part. This was on a Saturday

Now it took me a few days to really figure out What I was going to say in the review post. Attempting to show "BLACK OWNED" businesses that WE CAN SUPPORT their establishments is not worth it. Here's what I mean by this. On Sunday a few of my friends met me at Brews Kitchen & Cocktails. I'm sorry I even recommended this spot for us to watch the game, and dine-in. I've dined here two times before and those times weren't bad. However this experience was TERRIBLE!!! Once my friend, and company showed up. We all went inside. Now it was NOT crowded (meaning Wall 2 Wall). So there shouldn't have been a problem with where we had to sit Right? That's what I thought also. We were seated about 10 steps away from the DJ's microphone, and music table. This was "LOUD" as hell. We had to send one another text messages because we were all tired of asking the other person, "Huh What Did You Say?" This was ridiculous...so our hostess/greeter comes back over to the area where she'd originally sat us at. I asked, Could the table be clean? Also could we had sat in one of the big high back booths and chair area over by the window? Her response was, The Owner wants EVERYONE seated in the same area. Now I ain't the smartest person but I'm not the dumbest either. This didn't make any damn sense but I rolled with the punches until I had to STAND ON BUSINESS. After 14-18 minutes of several female servers walking by us as if we the Invisible Invaders. I finally walked back up to the front entrance spoke to a beautiful light skinned sista with a NFL jersey on. I expressed our disappointment and she immediately took care of us not having a Server notice us for almost 20 minutes. Mind you when we arrived it was 5:15p.m. When we were FINALLY serviced it was after 6:20p.m. Chris moved us over by the window which was awesome. However my friend wanted the $40 Lamb Chops. Chris goes to the kitchen and puts our order in just to walk back out to inform us that the Lamb Chops were SOLD OUT!! So now the time is quarter to 7. My friend ended up placing his order for the NY Ribeye. He liked it so much he wanted to order the same thing but for a 2Go order. Chris went to the kitchen to come back out to us and said, He was sorry but the Kitchen is CLOSED!!! At 7o'clock on a Football SUNDAY??? So we see everyone (employees females) wiping down tables that had been dirty since we walked in at 5:15ish this must be a new thing. Keep all the tables dirty so it looks like the place has limited space for potential customers to sit. I've seen this at a few restaurants as of late. Then the ambiance goes from romantic to all the lights are no longer dimmed. The DJ announces that he's packing up to leave but couldn't make a brief announcement about the kitchen closing by 7pm. ??? I hail Chris down cause now I'm too heated and embarrassed cause I invited my friends to come to Brews Kitchen he spent over $280 on drinks, food, and gratuity. Of course I was gonna ask for the owners name. Sloan is the owner of this very nicely decorated restaurant. I couldn't believe it when I asked Chris, Was the owner here? He said, YES. I asked to converse with him about the JANKY ASS service and establishment he's operating. On the website it shows the time for Sunday hours to be 11a.m.- 10p.m. but you shutting shit down at 7p.m. While Security comes in Yelling everybody needs to GET THE FUCK OUT!!! I've been here since this morning. So that's our fault as paying patrons attempting to keep your doors open???? Now I can visualize what happened to make the BLACK OWNED business VINETTI's to shut its doors. Especially if they ran their business like Brews Kitchen did for us on this past weekend. The owner Sloan doesn't interact with his customers I was informed. He leaves it for the managers to do. Meanwhile the member of management NEVER walked over to our table to EVEN ask us, How was your experience or service today? This spot if it stays in business another year it'll be ONLY BY GODS GRACE. The food, drinks, and aesthetics are all beautiful. Unfortunately the way the restaurant is ran is disappointing. My friend wanted us to go back just for the food and drinks tonight. I didn't wanna have him spend over $$$ and the service not be A1. We can go to other spots that genuinely are attentive and deserving to us as patrons. Food was 7/10Chris was 10/10

I went to Brew City for a friend's birthday recently and I enjoyed my experience! It was Thursday, so there was a DJ and a live band, performing R&B music. The MC for the night, Taylor was so friendly. She made sure that the birthday girl felt celebrated by the entire room. And she can sing too! lol Every singer they brought forward that night was amazing. It was certainly the highlight of the night for me. Food: I had the pasta, and it wasn't bad. The flavors weren't unique but the food was seasoned, they give you a great portion and for a reasonable price. I believe it was $16. Our server was nice, she didn't go above and beyond and there were some long gaps between her return, but whenever she came to the table, she was nice and made sure we had what we needed. The venue itself is very nice! Lots of big TVs and plenty of space to dance or spread out enjoy a completely different vibe if you want to watch the game or enjoy conversation with your friends/date/family. I will be back!

This place was pretty nice. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed and immediately sat although we didn't have reservations (noted for next time). I was only in town temporarily and celebrating my cousin's birthday with her. The bartender Sandy was so nice! She looked out for us and gave us suggestions on what to order but ordered catfish and grits and she ordered chicken and waffles. The food came out fairly fast and was pretty good. It was a nice spot to visit for brunch. Cons: kids. I love babies! But not in a club setting. There were multiple babies. Also the food was 3/5. It was good but not the best I've had. I'd return on a future visit to Dallas.

I only went here because all of my friends were going. Upon entry the bar was packed and everyone was complaining about the bartender- Cali W. They basically said she was only waiting on men. And ignored all of the women. She had an attitude and I don't know why. But for me to be at a bar now standing with people that I don't know and we are all in agreement that the bartender is being a shitty person tells it all. I stood for a while, while she did the walk by and ignore. She turned and went to another girl on the other side of the bar who told her that I had been waiting for a while and to take my order first. She still tried to ignore me when the girl was pointing at me. Maybe I had on my invisible shirt that day. But she finally did give me a soda because that was all I wanted. It's too many other things going on to purposely go outside and be a shitty person to others. I probably will never go back here just based off of this horrible experience that myself and everyone else had here. I left the bar area and went to a table to sit w my friends after that. I probably would have gotten food here or more drinks for my friends if I didn't have to endure that.
