Had a great experience for my birthday HH. They had a drink with my dog's name so I had to get that! We also had the puffed deviled eggs I think they were called. Beautiful space and great service. Parking is difficult.

We stayed at Bowie House during the first week. So beyond the growing pains of a brand new hotel, the experience, decor, and ambiance was incredible. A luxury hotel built by its wealthy owner so her wealthy friends would have a place to stay when visiting Fort Worth. She is an equestrian, so the theme is horses, but done in a very modern and sophisticated way. Modern west is what they call it. Lots of leather, wood, and warm brown hues. Comfortable and not pretentious or tacky. The rooms are spacious, beds very comfortable, and well appointed with high end amenities. There's a spa, restaurant, and a bar. Outdoor pool. The art throughout is interesting and from the owner's private collections. Front desk, housekeeping, and bell service was spot on. In the restaurant and bar, the service was off. Long waits, orders forgotten, food not cooked correctly. Chalk it up to being new. The experience overall was great, and look forward to trying the hotel again when they are more settled.

The staff is super attentive and wonderful. Check in was a breeze. The views from the rooms are nothing special but even the basic room had so many wonderful attributes. The valet was easy and fast. The restaurant was decadent and the crowd was fun. A great alternative to the Drover.

My company had an event here and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. The rooms are stunning, the art is interesting (in a positive way), and the service is impeccable. From beginning to end, our stay was perfect. Every selection made to create the fancy Fort Worth vibe in this boutique hotel was done expertly. The lounge, separate rooms with different vignettes, the bar - all perfect. Now, let's talk about the food. You are not getting typical hotel food here. No sir, the food is unbelievable!! This place is a must!! Also, the pool is going to be the place to be this summer!

My daughter and I went for a "stay-cation" and girls' time after a stressful couple days. It was a magnificent place to get away! The hotel is chic, warm, and inviting. It is the perfect melding of TX cool and elegance. The room was beautiful and inviting all the way down to a hand-written welcome note. We felt welcome and special. The spa was gorgeous. We loved sitting in the infra-red sauna and felt spoiled with plush robes, fragrant water and Powerball treats. Every staff member we interacted with were so attentive and engaging. Paige, an event coordinator was so kind, offered us suggestions of cool places to eat, and really made our stay memorable. The manager, Andrew took time to talk with us and make sure we were happy with everything about our stay. He shared some cool info about the hotel and made sure we left happy. I can't say enough about how relaxed and pampered we felt when we left. It made our mother-daughter get away one of the best ever. Thank you, Paige, Andrew, and Bowie House! Highly recommend a stay here!

Came here to grab a drink in the lobby. There were a decent number of people around about it was certainly not an overwhelming crowd. There was a male bartender who took my drink order. Another friend showed up so I tried to add on a drink (It was the same as another persons order and he had not started to make the drinks or give me a bill), and I was told I would have to wait to order that additional drink until the others in line had been served.Fine. He makes the drinks and I pay for them. Then I wait and there is one other person ordering. He takes their drink order. They add on a last min drink and no push back - he just makes it. Guess you have to be old and white to get good service here. Then, one of my friends asks what is taking so long. She stands next to me at the bar and he takes the order from her before coming back to me. Bad experience. Bad service.

I'm quite speechless with Bowie House, plus Bricks and Horses. We had a Ressy to eat dinner at Bricks and Horses. We pulled into valet parking but sadly was turned away. Valet attendant came over to me and said we don't have any parking you can't valet but you can go to lot 7. He then said I don't know where lot 7 is. Somewhere on the other side of CVS... I was like wait what... so we get back in my car and drive to the other side of CVS. Clueless on where lot 7 is bc there are no signs stating we can park anywhere. All we saw was NO HOTEL parking. I drove around the whole block to ensure I didn't miss anything... no lot 7. So, we left and went to Winslow's Wine. Just go ahead and drive past Bowie House and check out Winslow's. Valet was helpful and they have fantastic food!

Went to first drinks and appetizer. Sat in the Mulberry Room which was lovely. Our waitress, Tatyana K. was exceptional in her knowledge of the new hotel, restaurant and bar. Made wonderful suggestions and had her timing well done as we were well attended to, not overly watched and allowed to enjoy our time and soak in the curated atmosphere.

For such an expensive place, I felt the food was only moderate, and the service was lacking. They were quite slow to fill up our waters, and almost seemed annoyed to have to take out order. I did like my gin martini, however. They made a good classic (with a lemon twist) martini and a lot of places don't get that right. So they got an extra star for that. Also, we brought our (well behaved) toddler with us and they were very snooty about it. We understand it's a nice place so we intentionally came early as to avoid the crowd (to be thoughtful of other guests). They don't have high chairs because kids aren't welcome -- that's essentially what they told us. We have been to other very nice restaurants - even nicer than this place -- who have a solid kids menu, high chairs, and who are very respectful. I do not recommend it, even without a kid.
