This is my FAVORITE Korean spot in DFW!! I consider myself pretty regular at Bop Joa. It is well priced and the service is lovely. Not to add the food is absolutely delicious. If you haven't been to Bop Joa- add it to your list.

Me and the hubs stepped in for a mid-week lunch date and it was super yummy! You know it's authentic because the only other people we saw coming in were Korean - speaks volumes! We had their steamed dumplings and Yang-Neum chicken as appetizers and shared their hot pot-style bibim-bot meal. It came with all sorts of pickled veggies - the daikon radish and cucumbers were my favorite! The hot pot made the rice crispy on the bottom which was perfect!! It's fun to try new cuisines and we really enjoyed the flavors. Knocking one star off because our bowl didn't have much beef in it, could have used more for the price point. Also would have liked to hear Korean music rather than a soap opera playing, but that's minor!

What a great family run business with authentic food sans friendly service! The environment is simple but clean and welcoming. We had both the spicy pork and beef bulgogi and I think we enjoyed the pork more although the beef was still very good. If we're lived closer, it could definitely be a place that we would enjoy sampling all the different menu items.

If you're looking for authentic Korean food, this is a pretty good spot in the Wylie area. The worker/owner? is very personable and kind. The food was pretty good. I got the spicy pork bulgogi with jap-che. I love jap-che so this was a great meal in my book. I had also gotten the bibim-bop which wasn't anything special really. I'm docking a star because when I walked into the store there was still trash from previous customers on several tables so it felt almost "dirty." I don't know if they are short-staffed or if there is an alternative reason, but I was personally a little uncomfortable eating.

Awesome place for those who love korean food!! They have amazing japchae and the jjajangmyeon was really good too. I believe it is just the owner here and you have to call ahead to make an appointment since the space inside is small.

Every Wednesday, Cashew's parents look for a date night away from the three monkies. I decided to give this restaurant another chance after they didn't serve us because they had a party that day, yet had their restaurant open. The place is located in a strip mall with many businesses, so parking can be an issue depending on the time you go to eat. We arrived and the place was empty. The young man is very friendly yet asks weird questions like, "Are you gonna eat?" This place has no menus, so you need to do a QR code. The bathroom is located in the back next to the kitchen. The young man suggested appetizers, and so cashew's mom asked for dumplings (5) appetizer. The dipping sauce truly helped the flavor of the dumplings, which are very small. I got the burrito and wife the chicken pieces. The burrito had a very nice mix of Korean flavor with Mexican style, and the chicken pieces had no flavor besides the dipping sauce. Cashew's mom liked the chicken pieces. The place is good and prices are adequate. The young man works hard and looks to make your stay a pleasant one, so I would recommend this place. I'm just careful. If it's full, they can't deal with large numbers.

Stopped in here for some lunch while I was in the area. The gentleman inside was so kind! Very cute and great ambiance inside. Food was amazing & hit the spot. Definitely needed a nap after eating this though.

We went here for while looking for some good dumplings and we couldn't have found a better place, the dumplings and fried rice were great, and the owner was super nice. He talked to us, and when there was a mix up in the kitchen he gave us another plate without charge. Overall the place is definitely a hidden gem. 10/10 would recommend(Pictured chicken fried rice)

First time here. Waiter was friendly. I love the cute mason jars that were brought out with water! Food was delicious. Afterwards, the chef came out to chat with us. I can't wait to come back to try something new. I noticed many people order takeout.

Tried this place out because we love Korean cuisine.Big disappointment, food was overcooked and very, very oily. The members of my party all agreed this is likely a home cook that likes their own food, but it's not presentable to the public.I empathize with their attempt to open a restaurant, but it's just not up to restaurant quality food or presentation.
