Boozy Bird Beer & Wings

Came here with friends and I loved the service. They played great music and the drinks were nice and strong. Emily was so sweet and had us cracking up too. Coming back soon!!

Horrific experience. As a past restaurant worker, I provide a lot of leeway in my experiences and tend to shy away from negative reviews unless the experience was beyond subpar accompanied by poor customer service. So I come to pick up an order at the scheduled time advised, and the order hasn't even been acknowledged... I actually left off at this point in the review because the bartender came out with the food and was kind (opposed to the manager) But I had a second horrible experience trying to pick up a delivery order from here so I'll just go ahead and leave a reviewSecond time the bartender didn't know of the order asked another they didn't know then tried to send me to the restaurant next door. After showing it was for the location we were standing in, they then went to look for it on the system (same as first time) I didn't say anything but clearly was annoyed by facial expression (due to last experience) which I guess made her desire to defend herself ... when she isn't boozy bird she's just an employee.. but she decided to defend herself and say I'm not a manager .... Which super annoyed me at this point because the manager (who wasn't there this day) was my problem last time but also like I didn't even say anything to her lol But I basically said to her this is y'all MO This place lacks customer service skills except the very first male bar tender I came across

Boozy Bird Beer & Wings is in the same location as the former, Carrollton Chop Shop. The decor is very similar, but the menu is completely different. I ordered the half salad which was very filling, and my friend ordered the chicken strips, which were HUGE. I would recommend ordering the smallest portion size because the portions here are larger than normal. The service and staff were good, the drinks were decent, not sure if I will return based on the limited selection of things that I prefer to eat, but it's worth checking out for yourself.

Came for a drink and some appetizers after work. The fries first came with OUT the bacon when it was already supposed to have it on. Then, on top of it we found a screw (in the pic) a SCREW! (Health violation) Let's just say I will not be coming back.

I am not a big wing eater. However, this place looked like a good place for a cold beer and to watch a game. Mac n Queso bites a must. Absolute deliciousness in each bite. My son had jerk wings, which I sampled. It's just right on the spice level and a good representation of Jerk seasoning. I chose soicy apricot glazed wings. Definitely made the right choice. This wing was probably the best I've ever had. Huge and that glaze is spectacular. The wings were cooked perfectly. Bartender provided amazing service and offered on point suggestions. The place has a sports bar vibe with a wild side. Beer pong tables provided. You bet I'm going back!

On the downside it's worth mentioning the new operation has no draft beer. Everything is served in cans or bottles. And, no coasters. They use folded dinner napkins instead. Kinda weird and untraditional for a "sports bar," but guess it simplifies the operation and saves some $$$.

Cool casual spot with good drink specials. Went on frozen Fridays and had $5 shots and frozen margaritas. Went earlier in the day so not much of a crowd but service was nice.

Great place for food and drinks and TV with your friends. It is really nicely decorated inside

Went to boozy birds tonight with my boyfriend and some friends for the ravens game, had an amazing time! Not only did our team win but the bar service was excellent! Despite the large crowd of fans, our bartender Emily provided great service to us throughout the night! We will definitely be back to see her for the game next week!!

1/5 - Inexcusably Poor Service at Ravens BarMy wife and I visited Boozy Bird in Carrollton, TX to watch the Ravens playoff game, and what followed was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've ever had.From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the establishment was poorly managed. There was no hostess to greet or seat guests - a basic expectation for any restaurant. After finding our own seats, we waited for over an hour without any acknowledgment from the staff. Not a single server approached our table during this time.In an attempt to at least get our drink orders in, we tried to order directly from the bar. Instead of being helpful, the bartender rudely dismissed us, telling us to wait for our server - who, at this point, seemed nonexistent. The irony of being told to wait for a server who never came was not lost on us.The service was so abysmal that during our wait, I actually had enough time to leave the restaurant, drive to the nearby Taco Casa, purchase food, and bring it back to my wife at our table. Yes, you read that correctly - we had to get food from another restaurant while sitting in Boozy Bird. Only after we had completely finished our Taco Casa meal did a server finally decide to make an appearance.As a Ravens bar, they're doing a massive disservice to fans looking for a place to enjoy the game. The complete lack of basic customer service, the rude bar staff, and the apparent absence of any management oversight make this establishment one to avoid at all costs.Needless to say, we will never return to Boozy Bird. There are far too many other establishments in Carrollton that understand the basics of customer service to waste time here again.Verdict: Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere. Even the neighboring Taco Casa provided better service - and they weren't even our intended destination.
