Bon Crawfish Hut

Love that this small business is family owned and operated and has been here so long. I've been living in dfw for almost 6 years and I always see this place but yesterday was my first time having them. Their crawfish is simple, Cajun, slight Asian twist but not completely viet Cajun. I like it. It reminds me of the first time I've ever had crawfish. It was delicious and their spicy is actually spicy and I love it. The family owners are super sweet and friendly. Their crawfish here is pretty good, I ordered a pound killed it and then ordered another one just to demolish that one as well. Definitely will be back!

Love coming here during crawfish season! You can byob, and tear away some crawfish! Their banh canh is also a fav of mine. Love the casual setting.

If you are a garlic lover this is a great place. We LOVE this place. I personally love the atmosphere, not pretentious just plain delicious!

Came here on a Sunday, crawfish was only 8.99 a pound, which is a good deal out of season. We got 3 pounds mild spice with corn, potatoes and sausage. We also got sweet potatoe fries. The food was brought to us in about 10 minutes. It was good size crawfish and it was seasoned well. The crawfish tasted good and I'd recommend, I liked how they seasoned the corn and potatoes. The sausage was a let down, I expected more. I enjoyed the sweet potato fries. There were a couple things that showed online that weren't here. Like they didn't have crawfish taco it showed. I'd recommend this place still though. It's in Asian mart in Grand Prairie and is definitely cool spot.

Great Spicy crawfish boil ! The people that works there, are respectful and friendly. I'm known as the spicy man when I call! Lol

The crawfish are larger than other places and customer service is decent. Crawfish are also spicy, but that's how I prefer mines. The only reason I'm giving them 3 stars is because even before COVID-19 they were never open during operation hours. You could go up there any time of the day/week and no one would be there. Literally at one point I thought they were closed until I decided to try them again. I hope their hours of operation stay consistent so I can update my review.

I have to downgrade my 5-star rating for this time :( More for food and taste inconsistency than anything else.The place is a food booth/stall within the Vietnamese mini-mall, but the service was actually really great (they come out and lay down a plastic table cloth portion on your table and provide you with napkins and a bib).The flavor and seasonings were exceptional, but it did not taste like the preparation was there this time. The crawfish didn't have the flavor of the sauce within the meat like I've tasted in the past. The flavor of the sauce was still still good from what I tasted, but lacking within the meat itself. It's a mellow hot chili pepper flav with a gingery taste. I'd describe it as kind of like the Vietnamese sate sauce that comes in the jar. The crawfish itself (I ordered 2 pounds) came in a large plastic bag and looked gorgeous. It was steamy-hot too.!I would still come here over any other crawfish place (I've had boiling crab, hot'n spicy, Pappadeaux and others). Their sauce and the way they do their crawfish is just very unique and flavorful. I hope my next try is back to a 5. :)

Some of the best crawfish ever. The freshness, the garlic and the spicy sauce is so good! It's inside the Asian market, other items are also good but I go for the crawfish!

I usually order at least 3 pounds of crawfish, but since we were trying this place for the first time I decided to order one pound just to try. We ARE GLAD WE DID. The taste of the crawfish was very chalky, the crawfish is covered in SAUCE, some type of blended veggies and over seasoned with what tasted like cumin, not buttery at all. The potatoes are whole large potatoes, you don't need more than one. WILL NOT be returning.
