Bombones

This is a bar that is for the average working class. It is a great place to get off of work and come have a drink or a meal before returning home. The facility is very large and open. Its primarily customers are Mexican, but not just Mexican. The facility is very clean and welcoming for families of all sizes and ages. The staff are very attentive and provide fast service.

Anaid was my server tonight. She was super friendly, with excellent service. Extremely attentive, and full of smiles!!!!! Thanks for a great night!!!

Initially I didn't know what to expect based off the name but it's essentially a hooters type of restaurant. I went during lunch and it was not busy at all but the staff took their time to come take our order... never came to ask if we needed refills and had to go find our waitress to get our check. I still gave it 3 stars because my enchiladas were pretty good.

Bombones is such a great place to chill, listen to good music and enjoy a couple of your favorite drinks. I love the environment here! As we walked in today we were greeted by Ms. Kimberly, She was super sweet, friendly and so accommodating. She never fails! She quickly made accommodations and had us seated right away on such a very busy day. I highly recommend it here!

October, 01, I was at bombones. I sat in the bar like I do every Friday. The regular girl was off I guess. The service really suck today. I sat at the bar for 20 minutes I never got any service. Fuck them.

Wanted to try this place out because of the menu. Walked in and got a seat at the bar. Half full. 15 minutes passed by and no service. Ended up leaving.

First time coming here , the place is in the middle of no where almost but they have great looking women lots of TVs and a couple of pool tables , the iris trash can drink was really good ! But the Vegas bombs they served us were disgusting they need better bartenders

Went to meet up to eat & have a drink with some friends. A little tricky to get to because they are doing at present of lot of construction on the nearby freeway. (L.B.J./I-635) Plus you have to look close for the sign,it's set back a bit from others on this block. At first if you look at the building you'll think it's a strip club or disco from how it's built with the heavy doors & the way the door faces. Girls are indeed scantily clad,but it's just a normal 'Breasturant' or Sports Bar like a Hooters,Twin Peaks etc but with a Mexican theme? Large & roomy inside,has several sections,one with 4 pool tables. TV's everywhere,and I do mean 'everywhere'. Food & Service is rather good for this type of place,I got the Beef Enchiladas w/Spanish Rice & Refried Beans. Large portions on a large place and it was very good. Beans I think even were cooked with Lard or Bacon Grease as they ought to be? The only demerit I can give is this: The waitresses for the most part either can't or won't speak English. If you can't/don't speak Spanish/Mexican or aren't with someone who can ordering might be an issue past the 'Point at the Item on the Menu you want' interaction. (Which luckily for me that worked?) The place is quite a ways off my 'beaten path',but simply because of the food (Which was reasonably priced) I would go back.

Kind of annoying that the waitress think she can out smart you: "some other table paid for your 1st beers and quesadilla, now you have to add that as a $24.50 tip for me" - chill cubanita you're lucky I didn't take it to your manager.

Horrible service. Kept asking for ID even after we showed the door. Lady at the bar with the duck lips was so mean for no reason kept being smirky. Uglahh.
