Bodacious Bar-B-Q

My coworker BFF suggested we try Bodacious BBQ as they feel it's okay to go all over and ignore that our lunch is actually 30 minutes, and not 120 minutes. However, I discovered it is truly the best tasting BBQ I have had in Texas in a few years! Barring what occurred a few years ago, I remember the last really good BBQ was in Mansfield (I will post the name in the edit).But knowing this establishment is a staple in Arlington is quite understandable! People may have lost their way when it comes to good BBQ-here it is if you need a little direction!

Just had a barbecue sandwich. It was average nothing really right home about. Maybe we'll go back.

This place was good Mac and cheese was AMAZING And the slice of pecan pie was delish.

Don't know why they have a 3.8 should have a 5.0! Best BBQ around! Bodacious originally is from East Texas. I had no idea they had one in DFW area! I'm hooked for at least a once a week sandwich. Stop in and see Fran and Wanda you won't regret it!

Wanted a bite close to where I was shopping, so Yelp guided me here for some so-called good BBQ. I ordered the two meat plates, but I only wanted brisket. The sides were limited spicy beans, green beans, pasta salad, mac n cheese & deviled eggs. I choose green beans & mac n cheese to be on the safe side. Little to my surprise nothing was safe... this was complete TRASH!!! The brisket was DRY AS CARDBOARD, not a lick of moisture whatsoever. The mac n cheese was creamy but missing salt & the green beans were straight from the can. This was a complete waste of money in my opinion however the customer service is 5 stars. The beef was ok, the sausage was really good, I got the spicy and nom spicy. Both were good and not too spicy. Ribs were alright. Mac n cheese was delicious. One of the best mac cheeses at a bbq place. Sloppy joe was ok. Pulled pork was pretty good. The service was outstanding and it looks pretty cool inside.

I purchased 8 lbs of smoked turkey for a family event. It went over very well. The turkey was very tender and tasted great on its own. That said, the BBQ sauce was also great and it did NOT overpower the turkey.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This was some of the worst BBQ I've ever had. Is flavorless, and customer service definitely makes it even worse.They gave me expired condiments, and when I called to express my concerns, she neglected me and told me I would be fine n I could "just eat it". I was offered in store credit. Trust me I know I could've just eaten it, but is the principle. I felt like I was bothering her, or as if I was a nuisance after expressing my concerns. After wasting my $40 on this awful costumer service & food, I was just wanted to tell my real experience. OVERPRICED, not worth the money ambiance, food as well as the customer service are all horrible.

Great staff, friendly with faith-based atmosphere and music. Very good pulled pork. Just wish you had a couple bbq sauce options.
