We started eating at Big Tony's in DeSoto, Texas as my daughter introduced us to her weekly routine. Then she introduced her fiancé, now husband to weekends at Big Tony's. Imagine our shock in April when we were ordering food, and Amanda mentioned to the clerk her love of Big Tony's and how much she has missed it. Lo and behold Big Tony was there and over heard her. He was with some clients and came over and introduced himself. What a kind gentleman with the sweetest soul. My daughter and I were elated and she couldn't wait to call her spouse, lol. We enjoyed our delicious Philly Cheesesteak's again yesterday. Always made fresh and the we add the Philly secret sauce, actually we drown it in. So good. We just need a Big Tony's in Texoma land. We miss the big philly cheesesteak but eat them when we are in the Allen/Plano Tx area. Plenty of ample parking, and hot delicious meals for the entire family. xoxo#Allen,Texas

I hated to say anything, because we've been loving Big Tony's for years, but on our last visit we were rather disappointed. We realize with the economy that prices are going up, and maybe Anthony is just trying to keep his prices from rising too much. But our cheesesteak order on this occasion was very sparse on actual beef. If you look at my past photos, the portions were pretty generous. This time, the beef didn't even cover the bread. Good flavor still, just getting thin on filling. Pretty soon, it'll just be bread soaked in beef juice.

We love to get to go lunch from here. Their spicy mozzarella sticks make a yummy snack. I haven't tried a Philly cheese steak here that I didn't like. The other day we did order a side of sweet potato fries that were soggy and cold, but I still give them 4 stars because their Philly cheese steaks are so good!
