Big Mama's Chicken & Waffles

The workers were not only amazing they were super funny and nice. I ordered a half chicken, filet nuggets, and 3 shrimp. I don't know what their seasonings are but they had me HOOKED from the first bite. The tartar sauce and pickles they give you pairs with the food perfectly. It feels like a family owned restaurant who puts a lot of hard work and time into their work and it shows!

This was my first time coming to this establishment, customer service was cool. The seasoning on the food was amazing. However the food was very soggy which kind of ruined the experience. It may have been a bad day so I might give them another try one day

The time I spent waiting, I thought for sure the food would be hot and fresh. They do get 3 stars from me because they were very nice and polite.

The wait at this place is INSANE. Then the waffles where not cooked through and the chicken was very MID and you only get 2 thin tenders for a big waffle. I was always curious about this place since I always drive by the area but unfortunately I will not be coming back.

Since moving into area I've been wanting to check this place out & I finally did with my boyfriend. I was sadly disappointed with the food. Yes, it's well seasoned, but does it taste good? No. I am glad it didn't taste like grease. There's not much of ambiance since it's a drive thru. While waiting I did see a trash panda AKA raccoon rummaging through the trash bin. Service was decent. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

Worst type of service! Wait time was horrible, it gets worse guy made statement customers need take they ass home it's cold outside. He was complaining because they were busy?? Keep that attitude up don't have to worry about being busy doors will close fast. Then top it off you get my order wrong!! This will be my last visit bad enough the wait time has definitely gotten worse but now service is just horrible

Hadn't been there in years. Chicken is better than ever, Crispy, big pieces, great fried okra. Staff are welcoming & helpful. I'll be back!

I seen that this was popular in Dallas and gave it a try. Thankfully on Saturday around 11am there was virtually no wait. Its in the cut for sure. The person that took the food was pretty nice. Now, onto my issue. I ordered the 3 piece wing basket. My order came as expected, no discrepancies but that chicken was extremely tasteless. Very dry and overall nasty af. Im not sure if they don't season the chicken or what but that was nasty. The fries were okay. The extra seasoning only made the chicken worse.

My wife told me about this place. Said the customers in her shop said it was really good so I had time today to venture out and try it. I was really excited anticipating some really amazing fried chicken. As you can see from my receipt I ordered a 4-piece regular and Corn Fritters. Having lived in far East Texas and only 15 minutes from Louisiana, I am familiar with amazing soul food, especially fried chicken and corn fritters that will send your mouth into ecstasy. Well, this isn't it!I got home with my prize to discover I had been given a 3-piece instead of the 4-piece regular I ordered. The chicken was without a doubt tender and juicy but almost no flavor. I was also disappointed to find I was given 6 corn fritters slightly larger than the diameter of a quarter. The French fries were undeniably restaurant packaged frozen and of mediocre quality and what I was served was very soggy and completely bland. As for the slice of white bread, it was generic, plain, thin sliced bread. I am not a bread fan and honestly couldn't tell you anything more. As far as the service, I honestly could not complain about the speed or the person that took my order. It did take a couple of extra minutes because they had to fry the fritters. Which was totally acceptable. However, since I didn't actually get what I ordered I'll let you draw your own conclusions. The reviews I've read appear to be either people love it or they don't. There's little in between. And I can see why.
