Big Joe's Pizza & Pasta

We are visiting from out of town and needed to grab some food before checking in to our hotel. We got a large pepperoni pizza with black olives and onions and an order of chicken Alfredo. Both were absolutely phenomenal!! The pizza was a classic New York style with the perfect amount of all the toppings. Delicious crust, too! The chicken Alfredo is easily some of the best I've ever had - buttery, cheesy, flavorful, perfectly cooked. I love that they include a side of bread to soak up any extra sauce! YUM! Highly recommend this place. The manager/owner was our cashier and was super friendly as well.

Trash.........The meatballs tasted like they came from Sam's. I'm not understanding why and how my cheese is not melted on this hot dish. How it that possible....????????

This family owned business is so amazing! The pizza was definitely homemade and delicious which is why I didn't get a picture of it because we ate it so fast lolDefinitely recommend anything & everything on this menu because of the real Italian flavor! Beautiful and awesome customer service and worth every penny!!

Great place! Great prices! The Real Deal ... came here because we are hungry and couldn't be more satisfied with our choice. Big Joes is hands down our go to spot now whenever we come out this way for our son's jiujitsu tournament. Good people!

I decided to treat my friend to lunch. I gave her two other choices such as, Subway or Jack in the box. She chose Big Joe's! I am so glad she did! The prices were good, food was delicious and the ambiance was peaceful!As, I walked it, it was like a breathe of fresh air. The inside was clean and looked a lot better than the outside! Lol. The Red and White Checkered Table Cloths were sending Italian vibes and the artificial Flowers in the center of the Restaurant were the perfect touch to create a fresh new look because, Big Joe's used to be a Whataburger back in the day.I wasn't sure what to order and the family ahead me didn't either. However, the Young Blonde Order taker with glowing Blue eyes was patient w everybody. He resembled, the actor, Tanner Buchanan who played the Character Robby in the Netflix series Cobra Kai. Ok, so back to the review. Lol.I opted for the Lasagna for $8.99. My friend got the Baked Ziti for $8.99 which included a side of Bread. My friend said, it was a little to crispy but, she said, it's ok. I agreed w her. My Lasagna was Meaty and Cheesey! Lol. It was piping hot too. The Tomato Meat Sauce was tasty with a few small meatballs.The Lasagna Sheets were baked just right, nice and soft. It was topped w a lot of yummy goey Cheeses.A Bus Boy dressed in White dropped our Silverware and Parmesan Cheese off at our table. Even though it was not busy in the Restaurant, he was a great addition to Big Joe's. Some how his presence made me feel special. I guess, it was the nostalgia of his uniform?Well, I think, I covered everything. Lol. If your ever in Haltom City. Check out Big Joe's and grab some Italian food. I'm sure you will like it!

My family and I enjoyed our visit and dinner here! Customer service was top tier and made by true Italians! Chefs kiss!

The pizza is authentic NY style and delicious! They also sell slices for when you don't need a whole pie.

For $22 i got a small lasagna, a little stuffed pizza pocket kind of thing and a salad. it was all so amazing and made with love. the lasagna came with extra sauce and it was sooo good! comes with fresh bread as well!! can't wait to go back!

I would like to say this place amazed me. My friend brought me here and i have to say they have some of the best chicken alfredo pasta i have ever tried. I'm a little bit of a food critic and everything about it was amazing. The service was great. Nice people all around. The ambiance is great also this place needs more recognition. I'll be going back for more.

Always fresh food have never had a bad experience there I recommend this place to everybody taste just like my mom was back there cooking
