5/6 of us enjoyed their meal. The service was good but the place only had 2-3 other tables the whole visit (Friday between 5-6:30) which seemed odd. The biscuits and gravy did were a hit with our oldest.

This was pretty good. It's an unusual place. High on a hill. Nice views of Glen Rose. I always thought it was a breakfast place, and I think it is, but we were here for lunch.Our server was attentive and helped us with the menu.We went for fajitas, and a chili relleno. Both were good. Bottom line: Would definitely consider Big Cup again, maybe for breakfast, and definitely for a biscuit.

The wife and I stopped in this place with our 2 teenage grandchildren on the way to Ft Worth. We thought we had found a hidden gem because there were 4 police cars there and that's usually a good sign. I had all of us rate their own experience so that I could get an overall rating so this is what we came up with. The grilled chicken sandwich got a 5, the chicken strips and catfish got a 3 and the chicken fried steak got a 1 it was very tough and overcooked.. the service was fine and friendly but never came back for drink refills. The place offered no good or bad decor. It was clean and well kept. Overall we all agreed that a 3 star rating was fair.

Went there for our goodbye brunch after dinosaur valley state park. Glen rose being a very small town, has limited options. My husband and I and two children under 3 we spent about $70 bucks. It was mediocre at best. I got "chicken and waffles" and it was a waffle with clearly frozen chicken strips on top. We mostly went because the kids menu has Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes. The kids enjoyed that, but the prices are like being top notch food from a bed and breakfast and/or I hop without the quality.

Yes! This was the Texas biscuit experience I needed during our eclipse trip! We ordered the banana french toast for the kids and they basically licked the plate clean. An order of pancakes and bacon also disappeared in an instant! My husband and I shared the southern style biscuits and gravy: biscuits, scrambled eggs, and hash browns, covered in sausage gravy. It was so, so good. And huge! And extremely affordable. We ordered another biscuit after everything was done and shared it with butter and jam. It was so good.

We were seriously about to pull into a gas station and get coffee to go and then Big Cup caught our eye. Such a wonderful impulsive stop. We both ordered migas which were devoured too quickly to photograph. In the entryway the Big Cup Eatery boasts "Home of the biggest biscuits in Texas." Well hell yeah, we had to order one of those to share too. It was flaky and delicious and didn't even need added butter or jelly. Oh and the coffee that we had originally stopped for was piping hot and so good! The waitstaff was really nice and our food came out quickly. Would definitely recommend this stop.
