I love this restaurant! I went here with my lover around November 2024 and the pictures shown below were from their Winter/Holiday menu. I finally got around to leaving my review since I was looking at my foodie pictures. 1) They are open pretty late (I believe past midnight) 2) When we were at this restaurant, they had a Santa for couples/parties that want to take pictures. It was cute!3) there are many small/tight booths for couples and for our small table we had a small curtain for privacy. It could be loud due to music and chatter all around. It is really dim so watch your step. 4) My lover and I LOVED the service and we loved our server who greeted us, made us comfortable, and told us mini descriptions of our order. Our server was very friendly, humorous, and welcoming! 5) Food: We got the assortment of the cakes because we got more bang for our buck. It was very tasty! Even though it was just 5 slices, my lover and I thought it was still a bit too much for the both of us. The hot chocolate we got was alright, I wanted to try it out but I wouldn't order it again for the price it costs because I thought it was basic. It looked nice though! 6) My lover and I were the second to last people to enter the restaurant, we didn't realize that we were the last people there once we finished eating!! Nobody rushed us or mentioned that we were the last people there and they were cleaning up. We felt so bad! But we love them for that and their service. 7) bathroom: bathroom was spacious, supplied well, and cute! (I personally rank restaurants on their bathrooms as well haha) My lover and I would come back because we loved our experience!

I visited Better Than Sex for dessert after an amazing anniversary dinner with my wife, and it did not disappoint. It was an incredibly delectable experience. This place had been on my list for a while, so I was excited to finally check it out. Parking was easy; there was plenty of street parking available. When I walked in around 9 PM, I was pleased by the ambiance. The tables and booths were lit with candles, creating a cozy atmosphere with couples around us. The sex-themed decor added a fun touch. We were promptly seated and ordered some wine along with a cheesecake. We decided to share the Pound Town cheesecake and a Rimmed Wine, which is a Sparkling Moscato from Italy served in a white chocolate-rimmed wine glass dressed with red sugar. The presentation of the Rimmed Wine was intriguing, as the glass was dipped in white chocolate, adding a delicious element to it. The sparkling Moscato itself was sweet and delightful. The Pound Town cheesecake was equally great, with fresh, sweet strawberries that complemented the flavors beautifully. The customer service was attentive, and even the menu descriptions were playfully themed. I've been back since and can't wait to return again. I definitely recommend this place!

I won't lie- the first couple of times that I came it was wonderful ! The vibes, music, location, dessert. A great dine in experience. Today, though--- extremely disappointed. My guest received her order; however, 5 minutes into her dining experience, I did not have my plate. I thought, well maybe It takes a little more time for mine to come out... more time passed. Nothing. I saw another table that came after get THEIR plate. At this point, I flagged down another server and told them to cancel my order -- which I'm starting to think did not get put in, which is shocking because the waiter suggested this dessert and I said (twice) that I wanted that one....Underwhelming. It will be a while before I come here again. We drove from Arlington. After speaking with the server, who stated he was the only server that night and to not take the experience out on the restaurant. He thought I said I didn't want anything (but this was in reference to drinks--- not the dessert. We had already discussed desserts previously). He gave me a gift card for next time for a free dessert. I hope it does not expire anytime soon. I'll consider using it in the future.

Date night was interesting with this place! The vibes were great. I loved the pictures hung up and the darkness and privacy and candlelight. The waiter was punny and kind. He was a bit dry so sometimes we couldn't tell if he was joking or being serious, but luckily we aren't the type to really care. The Double Stuffed was sooo yummy and soft. The drinks were all amazing. Pictured are the ones I had. The one thing we both really wished was that they served actual aphrodisiac type foods. We ate before of course but everything was just so sweet that we could only have 2 drinks before getting tired of the sweetness. Great experience buuuut probably wouldn't go back unless we had a sweet tooth!

This was such a fun experience! Our server was fantastic and really got into her role. Our booth was definitely on the tinier side, but we didn't mind. We had fun with the list of get-to-know you questions they provided while we were waiting for our drinks and dessert. The names were a lot of fun as well as reading the descriptions. For drinks, I had the Super Soaker, which was very good and surprisingly not too sweet. It did get rich by the end when paired with a dessert, but I really enjoyed it. My guy got The Old One-Two, which was also really good! I enjoyed both drinks a lot. For dessert, we split the Blueberry Birthday Suit Dessert Sammich. Soo good! It came with some strawberry champagne soup, but it wasn't necessary at all. I cannot stress enough how much I recommend this sammich. I wish they could ship this out to me.

One of the most unique places I've been to in the DFW! They pair different cocktails, beer, and wine with a "rimmed" topping like chocolate or Carmel. The menu is very niche and there's something here for everyone. My waitress recommended a Malbec wine with a dark chocolate and raspberry rim which was 10/10. If you're having dinner in downtown Plano this place is a perfect last stop for the night.

Every time I order a dessert, the caramel is always burnt. I asked them to replace it, but they told me I'd need to purchase another dessert, which I feel is unfair. I used to be a regular customer, coming in about every other day, but I stopped because of this issue. The dessert I used to order was called The Missionary (since all their dishes are named after sex positions). It's disappointing because the caramelized sugar on top of the ice cream is consistently burnt. I never asked for it to be burnt, and it completely ruins the dish.To make matters worse, the cashier seems upset every time they see me, as if I'm lying about the issue. I can't help but wonder if they've even tasted it themselves because it's clearly burnt. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place based on my experience.

The desserts here are fantastic. Came here on a date and the setting is very romantic and nice. Even better is the way the servers talk and explain the dishes in such an erotic way enhances the experience of this place. This is definitely for adults only not kids. They have some great cocktails here also.

Adrian was our waiter; he has a nice singing voice and was really funny, but total deadpan the entire time, which made it better. (His timing was on par with Josh Johnson, one of our fav comedians.)He originally forgot my Hubby's dessert (chocolate cake and ice cream), until my husband reminded him about 15 minutes after the drinks (cab sauv and coffee liqueur) and my dessert (cheesecake w/ popcorn bark) were delivered by Adrian. (He was genuinely, although casually apologetic.)Anyway... Adrian and the Valentine's Day quiz (which they obviously needs to renamed, as we were there March 2nd) were the best thing about the place. They played love songs, just a little too loudly, but the mix was classic. The decor is dark... like so dark Adrian actually shined a flashlight on the food, so you could see it, when it was served. I wasn't sure about the cleanliness of the place (as it feels rundown) and was genuinely concerned my light pink outfit might not be clean, when I got up from the bench I was sitting on, but it was fine. The food was just okay. My Hubby liked the fruity flavor to the frosting and said that was the best part about the cake. My cheesecake was neither rich or sweet, and I believe if it isn't one, it should absolutely be the other! The caramel sauce was strangely thick and kind of grainy... almost like it had flour in it, although I'm sure there wasn't. The best part of my desert was the popcorn bark, which I finished! I ate only a few bites of the cheesecake and didn't want anymore.I had the coffee cocktail with Irish cream and added a caramel rim... which if you want to taste, you will have to lick the glass or use your fingers. The drink was just okay. My Hubby liked his wine, but chose not to have chocolate or anything on the rim.$54 later; I can say it was pricey, if not a unique experience. I'd rather buy a bottle of wine, pick up a slice of cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory, start up my jazz playlist, and light some candles at home. (It would be cheaper and closer to the bedroom!)
