Such a fun event. Its not a huge event but definitely a good size. I was expecting more BBQ type vendors but the selection wasn't bad. Brisket, pulled pork or chicken sandwiches ranged from $6-$8. For those who aren't huge BBQ fans there are your traditional fair vendors with corn dogs, funnel cakes, etc. I wouldn't exactly say this is an overly kid friendly event. This is more for adults. The music was great and everywhere you looked people seemed to be enjoying themselves. It was hot out but no one seemed to let the heat dampen their fun. The non food vendors were probably the most interesting to see. There wasn't exactly a pattern in vendor types. They had everything from people selling spice rubs, scentsy, thrift store type clothing, childrens toys, insurance sales, and face painting. It was entertaining to walk by and glance at everything. This is definitely a fun event for groups or couples. If you aren't sitting in the VIP shaded areas, make sure to bring chairs or a blanket to sit on so you aren't stuck standing the entire time.

Had the best time here entertaining an out of Towner: Steak competition Best peach cobbler EVER - i mean ever- forgot the company too Ample bathrooms aka Porto pottiesWorst thing - the vendors were running out of everything that night. There were more bathrooms than food. And the alcohol was sparse! Good thing I brought my own.

BBQ like only Texas has, great people ready to party and some of the best blues bands from all around! It's a great weekend to spend with like minded people. If you like blues, or even rock, jazz and country, you should check it out. Ten years in the making and this year had some of the best talent yet! Thank you for a great weekend, Bedford!

They have taken this from a small town, nice festival to quite an expensive one. We went Sunday to the Taste of BBQ. Paid $17 for 10 tickets for a 'taste' from a food truck. One food truck gave 2 tablespoons of baked beans, one gave 1 tablespoon of mango salsa...really???? And as it was a Labor Day, it was quite hot. Very little shade provided. People crowded under 1 tree. The tents provided were a very expensive reservation only. Party tent gives you the honor of paying $40 per person to sit under a tent at a chair. Tickets for bbq competition now purchased online with a $7 fee to do so and a .65 convenience fee. This has gotten too high priced for me. We will not be returning again.

We go to all the festivals in the DFW area and this is by far the WORST.Too overpriced, too hot, too boring!!!$10 a person whether you are a child or adult.Way too hot- nothing to do but listen to music, eat & drink overpriced everything. The few retail vendors that are there are either overpriced &/or annoying and jumping out at you constantly. There is overpriced bungee/trampoline jumping for the kids. $10 for less than 5 minutes. $2 to slide ONCE down their inflatable slide. Save your money and if you want Bar-B-Q, go to Spring Creek Bar-B-Q or Red, Hot and Blue (there they have blues music that plays, too). If you want to go to a good festival, go to Euless Arbor Daze, any of them in Grapevine, Southlake or downtown Fort Worth. Total rip off. We will never be back!

Who wants to visit car insurance and house window sales booth's when attending a out door music festival? Unless you like just Budweiser products and canned Margarita's the Adult beverage choice Sucked! No Wine anywhere. The food vendors were good and price was reasonable. I am a firm believer in never say never but I do not see myself going back!! YUK! They should go see how Grapevine puts on an event.
