Not only is the food awesome but the owner, Melissa is wonderful. We ate it at one of 4 barstools and everybody that came in she seemed to know personally. We had the shrimp po boy, the pepper jack boudin balls and the gumbo routine fries and everything was delicious.

It was really good! I'm ashamed that I have lived so close for this long without swinging by. The food was very well done, and blindfolded could have 100% been straight out of a GOOD New Orleans kitchen. The shrimp po boy was every bit as good as the ones I've had on my several trips to New Orleans. The gumbo was pretty darn good too. We did get the pepperjack boudin balls and they were good, but just not my favorite. I feel like the cheese overpowered the boudin and it was more of a fried cheese ball with some boudin. Still good, just wasn't what I was expecting. Maybe my bad on that one though. The service was on point and everyone was super friendly. Yes, there are a couple seats if you want to sit and eat, but I would recommend heading down the street to a local park and eating outdoors.

I was passing by and saw a sign on the fence of a strip shopping center with the words "BOUDIN" so, being from Louisiana, I quickly braked and turned into the parking lot to investigate. Once I found the restaurant I parked in front and did a quick Yelp search. The reviews were mixed but fortunately I went inside to check it out for myself. This restaurant is in the space of what was once the eclectic neighborhood diner Fork in the Road, but they've completely remodeled and updated the spot making it real trendy and well-lighted inside. The lady at the front counter -- she's family of the owners -- was friendly and helpful in detailing the menu items. I decided on the Boudin Sampler (under Boudin Baskets) which included 1 Boudin Ball, 1 Mild Boudin Link, Fries and "Beaux Sauce" (for dipping). There's a small space for dining in but the restaurant appears setup mainly for to-go orders. When I arrived home with the order the fries were hot and crispy. And the boudin ball was a nice size and flavorful, as was the link. I'm also a bit of a snob when it comes to restaurants offering Louisiana food here in North Texas, but I honestly wish I had ordered more once I dug in because these guys got this right. Beaux Boudin is a unique and welcomed addition to the diverse food offerings of small restaurants in the Woodland West-UTA corridor. I'm looking forward to returning with a few "Loo-zana" friends to try more menu items!

Was not impressed, sadly. I was so looking forward to it. I had to add my own seasoning to the gumbo and the jambalaya to give them flavor. Hope they improve cos it's hard to find a great Cajun spot.

I have been searching for authentic Louisiana cracklings and this place delivers. Hot fresh cooked cracklings! If you want a taste of southern Louisiana this small place delivers. Nestled near a neighborhood in Arlington you won't be disappointed once you've experienced the food. This is mostly a takeout so don't expect a large sit down space. Oh...and don't forget to order the beignet bites.

Was shocked at how much I loved this place. We've driven by here many times and just never stopped. We finally decided to try this to grab snacks for football and it did not let us down. We purchased a couple of items to see what hit. The service was quick. It took them 10-15 to make it fresh but they offered to bring our order out when it was ready, which was a great offer. There's no sitting, it's a quick pick up kinda spot. Now to the food! The chicken and sausage gumbo was amazing!!!! We inhaled it so fast, it's flavorful and well seasoned. Chicken seems to be shredded and fresh. Perfect as a comfort food. The egg rolls were delicious, I'm very anti sweet added to my food. But the sauce is sweet and spicy and goes well with the roll. We also tried the boudin plate that has a sausage, ball and fries. We ordered a spicy sausage which was great and well seasoned. The boudin pepper jack ball was delicious. Only complaint were the fries, that was our only letdown. They were soggy in oil. No crisp... maybe it was just a bad batch. But that can be overlooked compared to the quality of the food. The food is amazing and the quality is just what you expect at a 5 star restaurant. Will definitely return. Don't sleep on this spot

New place, small with only a few sit down spots. Great food, boudin from scratch, great gumbo and loved the cayenne pepper chicken. They also just got a small freezer and sell boudin and gumbo. Owners were very nice.

Food was tasty but too salty for me to fully enjoy it. I might give it another try and order something else.

This place hits (that's a good thing)! Food was delicious. Customer service superb. We visited from out of state and noticed everything in the DFW/Arlington area is a restaurant chain or big corporation.... Bleh. We love supporting small and family owned/operated as much as possible and are happy we found this gem on yelp. We got C&S gumbo, SF gumbo, and beignets. Food tasted just like when we visited "Nawlins."
