Always good food- always tasty - always "on" - always good with customer service and a smile, with a clean and comfortable restaurant! We cannot recommend Babe's enough - if you are in the DFW area - you really must take time to visit if you like home cooking and you enjoy fried checked or Chicken fried steak ...

Always a crowd pleaser! We tend to gravitate towards Babes for every celebration, birthdays, graduations, and random gatherings. The chicken and chicken fried steak is always fresh, the sides are always hot, and the biscuits are always fluffy. We enjoy not only the service but also the line dancing and music.It's hard to go wrong with Babes Chicken!

My husband and I really enjoyed it. The chicken was amazing. Sides were pretty good and gravy was sub par. Our server was attentive and nice. Very loud and busy.

This was our first visit to the new NRH location. The food was better than I remember. My wife and I had the chicken fried steak and my daughter the fried chicken, accompanied by mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, gravy, and biscuits. The meat and sides were great. The decor is redneck as it gets, with an added Christmas pop for the holidays. ;-) The service was excellent, no complaints. The only thing preventing me from returning too soon is my waistline. But we'll be back eventually.

The sides were horrible. I'm not sure what liquid the green beans were floating in however it was too dark for my liking. The corn was either cream of corn or whole kernel but I wasn't sure. As for the mashed potatoes and biscuits they were ok.As for the entree it was the best thing they have . The catfish was good and so was the chicken strips. The parking is ample as well as the seating. Perhaps this place works for others but for me they can stand to do better with the sides.

Whoaw what a service this guys and gals give! As you enter in your warmly greeted and even with a big party they do not miss a step.Food: the catfish was fresh and the chicken was crunnchyyy. I love the family serving style atmosphere. Sides: it was okay. I think that the mash potato was from a powder- it could use some texture. Like the green beans and the corn. The biscuits are delicious.The place was nicely decorated and not too much to the eyeballs. I also love the live singer.

First time at Babe's and it did not disappoint. The menu is short and simple: there is no menu! Your server reads you the entree options and everything else is unlimited family style. This includes beans, mashed potatoes, cream corn, gravy, biscuits, and salad. We ordered fried chicken, smoked chicken, chicken fried steak, and fried catfish. Pretty much everything.Very large outdoor waiting area. The interior is initially dim with many tables and seating in extra rooms. Our server was very sweet and efficient! I loved her bedazzled Babe's shirt lolOverall we had a good time! Biscuits were soft and pillowy. Fried chicken had a good crunch to it. Only nitpick was that the chicken plates and green beans were a little on the salty side. Would definitely come back~

We just took a big group of special needs adults to Babe's. They were amazing! The staff was super helpful and very patient with our group. The food is delicious! Green beans are a bit salty but otherwise everything was terrific. The portions are very large and we had soooo much food.

Food was great! We got a little of everything from smoked chicken, catfish, chicken fried steak, and fried chicken. Side served was corn, mash potatoes gravy separate, green beans, and green salad with sweet vinaigrette. I think our servers name was Cole, awesome service very hospitable and chatty. Made us feel welcomed. Ambiance is family style sitting. For dessert we had banana pudding and chocolate cream pie. Banana pudding was different, had merengue on the top. It was good. Not as cold as I would like but the flavor was good. And don't forget to get a sweet tea! My first time and I would definitely come back again! Visiting from WA, I Highly recommend!

Babe's is the best in the DFW metroplex! Our favorites are fried chicken, chicken fried steak, and the fixings (salad, potatoes, green beans, corn and bread) and always consistently excellent! The staff is friendly and provide quick service. The restaurant is comfortable and fun - unique decorations, rooms, with fun music. Highly recommend!
