The breakfast tacos are phenomenal! You can't go wrong with any one you choose. We also loved the variety of salsas. There are several tables indoors for dine in, but we also saw many people pickup their orders for takeout on a weekend. Service was kind and attentive. We will be regulars here!

The Good:* The salsas were greatIt is what it is:* Everything costs extra - salsa, chips, etcThe Bad:* The people are not friendly there. I let them know that it was my first time and that I didn't know how to order and they offered no help. Their menu is not clear.* I tried to ask them about their specials but they were not in to it. No one wanted to be there.* The breakfast tacos were real average. The tortillas are not cooked through so when you get them, the tortillas were mushy.* They nickel and dime you for everything.Verdict:* Would not return again. Sad because there aren't many options like it in the area, but I would subject myself to their food or service again.

This casual spot is tucked into a strip mall by the Southlake High School. I found it in a search for local tacos and had bookmarked it. It seems that the place has a lot of regulars, which is good. Customer service was prompt. The food was good, which you can see in my pics. My fish tacos were well seasoned and stacked. The rice and beans were okay. Chips and salsa were almost $4, and were also okay. They do offer a salsa bar with a good variety of their homemade salsas, but the plastic containers for the salsa were super tiny, and the ladles for the salsa were big. I could see over-pouring into a container, and the excess salsa running down fingers right back into the salsa from whence it came . . . And from which someone else will repeat . . .All in all, not bad but not someplace I will go back to with intent.

Was driving between doctors appointments this morning and realized I hadn't had breakfast yet. Found this hidden gem and sooooooo glad I did. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The place was clean and basic which I like. Some basic decor on the walls and a chalkboard for the daily specials. I ate 2 of the Southlake tacos. They were pretty amazing!!! I grew up in San Antonio so I consider myself to have pretty high standards when it comes to Mexican food and breakfast tacos!!!! Really want to come back for lunch sometime soon!!!!!

Pay attention to the pricing! The menu reflects a basic taco, up charge for lettuce which was yellow, they call a "Gringo" Why not a different racial slur?? Is this the gringo way of eating a taco I suppose? Add cheese @$1.50, on top of all that is a 4% CC fee. The ground taco beef is very elementary school greasy and a slight upgrade from Taco Bell. The single bathroom has a chair in it, who is that for? Very dirty and gross! Don't be suckered by trying a mod place, this was a disgusting joke..

Austin Taco House has the best breakfast tacos that we have found...in the area! That is the big caveat... The Southlake/Trophy Club/Grapevine/Roanoke area doesn't have any truly great options. Moving here from San Antonio we were a bit surprised that most places here can't even make a basic bean and cheese taco that is decent! But Austin Taco House can! And the chorizo is good too. These things, along with the homemade pico de gallo (off menu and sometimes you really have to beg for it!), are what keep us coming back! And the family that runs the place is great too!

One of our favorite places to eat! Today we had lunch when we usually do breakfast. We started with the fresh guacamole, chips and two types of salsa. Delicious! We then enjoyed tostadas, pollo ranchero and fish tacos. The service was excellent and the people here are just great people! Go, now!
