Archies Garage Cafe

We decided to give Archie's Garage a try on a cold, rainy afternoon. Initially, the parking situation was off-putting; the dirt/gravel lot might discourage some potential diners, especially in inclement weather. AG's should consider addressing this if they aim to attract more customers.The ambiance at Archie's is unique, set alongside an antique shop, filled with collectible race memorabilia which adds a quirky charm. However, the temperature inside was a concern; it was quite chilly, which might be equally warm in the summer, suggesting their climate control system might need to be addressed.On a positive note, we met the owner, who was genuinely nice and friendly. Hygiene was taken seriously, with visible cleaning using disinfectant wipes, which was reassuring.Food-wise, the burger was satisfactory but not remarkable. The fries came with a surprising seasoned salt, which was a nice touch. However, the Frito Pie was lukewarm, which, combined with the cold seating area, didn't help its appeal.The overall service left something to be desired. As more customers arrived, the flow of service became disorganized, especially when the owner, who seemed to be juggling multiple roles, including those outside of the dining area, was absent for 5-10 minutes. We saw a few enter, wait a few minutes and then just leave. And waiting 15-20 minutes for the check was frustrating, leading to an awkward self-service at the register.Overall, while there were some positive elements, the combination of a less than ideal parking situation, temperature issues, and service hiccups made our experience less than stellar. I'm not saying I wouldn't try them again, but I might try them solo first before I bring along friends.

I recently had a frustrating experience with Archie's Garage Cafe through DoorDash. The delivery driver waited a staggering 40 minutes at the restaurant before finally heading out with my order. It has been well over an hour of wait at this point. While I understand that delays can happen, this was excessive and set a negative tone for the meal.When the food arrived, it was a letdown. The only redeeming part was the catfish and its sauce, which were decent. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal fell flat. The fries were far from crispy and lacked flavor. The elote, in both regular and Hot Cheetos varieties, was disappointing. It was subpar and lacked the flavor and texture you'd expect. The Hot Cheetos topping was already stale, despite supposedly being fresh. Lastly, the macaroni chicken burger was a major miss; it just didn't come together well and left a lot to be desired.Overall, Archie's Garage Cafe has significant room for improvement in both food quality and service. Based on my experience, I can't recommend it at this time.

Hi I got the chicken fired steak basket and 2 of them costed me 36$ with a missing mac an cheese after they forgot one of the drinks , since I've checked the door dash app the price for this meal went up (so within a hour or me ordering)!! I don't wanna leave about a bad review for a local place but I'm quite disappointed for the price that I paid

The BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger had Mac and cheese with bbq sauce. The service was excellent. The burger had a very good flavor and was very juicy. The place was decorated very interestingly. We will definitely be back.

this was a great experience, food, wise and service wise. If you haven't been here, you can come in and shop around a little bit for some cool antiques and you can also stop into their café that has so many options that you won't find anywhere else around here along with that the items taste amazing.

Terrible, muddy parking lot. My wife and I both had the Catfish and Fries and it was delicious! Not greasy, and with a nice crispy outer crust and seasoned fries. Not a fancy place, but comfortable enough for dine it. Friendly service. If they might at least put a new load of gravel on their parking lot, we would probably go back often and try other menu items. Otherwise, I don't want to stop at a car wash every time l leave to wash the mud from my tires.

We are adding this to one of our new favorite spots to eat! The menu was way bigger than expected, and I couldn't decide, so I ordered 2 items. Everything on the menu sounds delicious, and the food i got was. You have to go through the resale shop to get to the garage restaurant, and the restaurant was clean, and nicely decorated. I highly recommend trying Archies!
