Andersons Eatery and Distillery

Love love love this place. Andersons has been nothing less than family to my girlfriend and i, Every thursday they have drag bingo that my girlfriend and i attend! We are welcomed every week with amazing service and an amazing atmosphere to just be yourself! their bar service is excellent, the bartenders go out of their way to make a drink you will love (try the blueberry lemon drop martini it's heaven). andersons is definitely the way to go!!!!

The server was so sweet and explained everything to us. I asked what she would recommend on the flats and she said the fig and could put the hot honey on the side and it was divine !!! Partner ordered Prime rib sandwich and loved it. We're staying away from fries bc we're working out so we got a side salad which was fantastic. And the bill? $27 ! . Plenty of food and had leftovers to bring home.

The atmosphere is casual and welcoming. The staff were kind. The outdoor area has 2 cats on staff that the restaurant adopted, which is fantastic in my opinion!Unfortunately, the food got mixed reviews. Our table ordered the loaded nachos (their special), brussel sprouts, hot honey pepperoni flatbread, and pulled pork fries. The person who ordered the flatbread enjoyed it. The fries were "ok" according to the person who ordered them. The brussel sprouts didn't stand out, but they were good. The nachos were so incredibly salty that they were not edible. The majority of the nachos went to the trash. I am not salt sensitive. It might be a great place for drinks, but I think I'll pass on the food next time.

We were greeted warmly and the attentive service continued through our experience. We ordered the cauliflower bites for a starter, complemented with a kolsch and the whiskey cider. The whiskey cider was a strong pour with a musky finish. It was a unique palate that I enjoyed. We also tried the dark ipa which was a unique blend of a stout and ipa; it was dry but tasty. The cauliflower bites had a well-layered seasoning blend, though they seemed to need sauce of some sort beyond the ranch. For our entrees we had the pecan pesto chicken sandwich with a house salad and the veggie flat bread. The flat bread was well-appointed with a good blend of flavors and very filling. The pecan chicken pesto was also tasty, though I only tried a bite. It seemed a well-balanced sandwich. The house vinaigrette was very good on the spring mix that accompanied our entrees. The ambience is very much that of an elevated garage, but I enjoyed the layered lighting and various accoutrement that added to the vibe. We enjoyed the selection of board games available to play while dining. I plan to return soon to check out one of the many entertainment options they advertise like drag bingo or trivia.

I cannot speak to the food as I didn't have a chance to eat, but saw the wings come out of the kitchen, and they looked delicious. Sam, the bartender, was incredibly helpful and made a damn good drink! They use fresh juices and have an entire menu of cocktails to choose from. Love the atmosphere and employees as anyone would feel comfortable here! Can't wait to come back!

Friday afternoon- stopped here for lunch. Here is what we liked:* Service was nice and was attentive.* Unique cocktail list with their in house spirits.* The fries. Let's talk about thin cut steak fries. Who thought this up? They should be employee of the month- every month. We had both the poutine and Korean fries. Recommend both.* Dog friendly- big outdoor area and provided water and treats- that's a win. Happy dog, happy wife, means I can enjoy beverages.What could be better:* As a distillery how do you not have a flight? You make several spirits, prefect. Tourists (me) will pay for those to try your stuff outside of a cocktail.* The cauliflower bites were good, just needed something.

Met up with a friend for a late night drink and snack. Our usual spot is Eastside but they were insanely packed so decided Anderson's after Yelping their menu.We came at the perfect time!! Big crowd just left so we got to get some one on one time with Mr. Anderson himself!! The fries were big ol' steak fries and we all enjoyed the pork bbq AND poutine. Very well put together. Mr. Anderson def brightened the place up and we enjoyed chatting with him!! Since I'm Korean, he offered some house kimchi to try so next time I'll order the kimchi fries, WHICH I totally will. It was pretty amazing and I'm very picky when it comes to kimchi. Haha! Go check this little gem out, family owned and loved the outside patio!!

Stopped in on a rainy Thursday evening to a mostly empty restaurant. Ordered a lot of food and everything came out fast, hot, and with large portions. There was a bit of a mixup with our order and they handled it quickly and generously. A part of me wants to keep this place to myself so it's always easy to get an indoor table at... but it's way too delicious not to share. We will definitely be back!Don't sleep on Andersons!

We showed up around 7 with toddlers. I asked if it was ok to sit outside for so the kids can play and run and we eat something. I realized it was a bar but my friend has suggested to go here because of the wide space outside. We had a long day as a family and just wanted to not cook and get the kids tired. Amazing service. One guy came out and gave us a warning about a drag show and that was nice of him but I didn't realize until I looked up on Facebook what someone had wrote about this location. I am going to share with everyone and I do not mind if Anderson shares it either. We loved the food, we loved the service, and we will be back with our children again even during a drag event or normal day . Our kids don't care and we don't either. They went above to bring the food outside and because I left my card I was able to use tap to pay. It was overall one of the better experiences that I had at a restaurant here in Denton. The kids loved the music coming from inside also! The most offensive thing that happened was the cat that was outside only let us pet him once even after we bestowed gifts of food to him. We will be back.

BEST FOOD EVER! This was some of the best food i've eaten in Denton. The hot bruschetta sandwich was amazing. Fantastic drinks and even better staff. They were all so attentive and welcoming, will definitely be coming back every weekend!
