Best little Italian restaurant in Dallas. Everything is cooked with care. The chicken parm is amazing. The staff are attentive. It is small, unpretentious, right in Snider Plaza. Great spot for lunch or dinner!

It was graduation weekend and Snider Plaza was packed. We ducked in to Amore and were graciously given seats even though the place was packed. One of my absolute favorite places and once again it shined. Lobster Ravioli, Manicotti and minestrone soup. Exceptional. Service was top notch, ambiance great and the whole experience once again showed why Amore is my go to place for Italian.

It has changed hands and not nearly as good. Veal was shoe leather. Bread has changed and salad has changed. Have to find a new Italian restaurant

Solid, reliable neighborhood Italian food in a cozy and welcoming environment. I would have given it 4 stars were it not for the absurd opening hours. Amore effectively shuts down at 8 pm, and very unapologetically so. Perhaps this is why it attracts a disproportionate number of guests over the age of 50. I would visit far more frequently if they stayed open later.

A cute little Italian "Mom and Pop" restaurant that is a bit of a hole in the wall. Great drinks - I had the frozen bellini. Delicious. Also good limoncello Martinis. I recommend starting with the caprese salad, that consists of 4 slices of tomatoes with basil and mozzarella drizzled with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. For main courses, the linguine and clams, manicotti, and lamb chops were very tasty. The service was also great. Approached about drinks when needed, without being too much. I would go back for this hidden gem.

Amore has been one of my go-to joints where I have been regularly going since the mid-nineties. You might ask...if so, Rickster, why only three stars? To be honest, Amore leans towards being Old School Italian. And for that reason, it's a place that is reliably comfortable and predictable. A place that one can trust from visit to visit. It's not the type of place you would go if you're looking for contenders for a Michelin star or aiming to spot someone on the A-list.Is the food unique and memorable? No, the menu offers classic Italian favorites, pasta specialties, and pizzas...something that one would expect from a favorite neighborhood restaurant.Does the ambience knock your socks off? Let's just say, for me, it's a place that conjures up "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant, " that old Billy Joel tune. If you want to snag a table at 7:00 PM, you're likely to find the place full of folks who have been regulars from the neighborhood for decades. Cue up Billy..."We'll get a table near the street. In our old familiar place. You and I, face to face. A bottle of red, a bottle of white..."And the service? It's always prompt...but then again, Amore is a small place with five or six booths, and maybe ten tables.Yep, Amore is one of my favorite places to go over and over and over again and enjoy a four star experience, with three-star food, ambience, and service. And kudos if that makes sense. Billy Joel would be proud.

Love this place I usually get the linguine and clams or the chicken parm. My kids get the spaghetti. As long as you avoid the pizza you will be fine. This is old school Italian so don't freak out when it is not organic wheat.

My family has been going to Amore for 20 years. Sometimes we eat there, most times we do pick up and eat at home.We did pick up tonight and when we got home, the order was all wrong. I called Amore thinking they would make good on the wrong order, but the manager was extremely difficult to deal with. He would not own up to the mistakes and make good on the bad order. It was a bad enough experience that we are terminating our relationship with Amore and moving to another Italian restaurant. The "family feel" of this restaurant has deteriorated over the last several years. We are out!
