Great family run restaurant. Food is great with some items on the menu that you don't find on the average Mexican restaurant menu. Reasonable drink prices too. Worth checking out!

We had lunch here. Busy Monday lunch time. We ordered Beef Quesadillas and Taco Salad. They taste delicious. Server is friendly and helpful.Nicely decorated Mexican Restaurant, a hidden treasure off 15th Street, Plano TX. Parking spaces available.

Ok but not great, 3.5 rating. We were so excited to try this local spot, unfortunately we left a little disappointed. The chips and salsa/bean dip were really tasty. I ordered the enchilada plate (2) and they were very small in size, also they messed up my order but I didn't say anything (not a big deal but asked for no beans, extra rice). The flavor of the enchiladas were good, my favorite was the chicken with sour cream sauce. The beef fajitas were not that good, the meat looked a little off and the taste wasn't great. Open to returning and trying other items but do not recommend the beef fajitas.

We went to Alexander's for lunch today from the recommendation from neighbors on ND. TBH, I'm kind of burnt out on the eateries I frequent and I wanted to try something new and local. Places I like, PB don't like, so I had to choose from Mexican, Italian and seafood and I chose Alexander's to try and I'm glad I did and my neighbors were right. It's a small, cozy eatery adjacent left from Eddy's Pizza. We were greeted by Claudia(hostess/server). She is very friendly and welcoming. We started out with 3 different kinds of salsa and chips and they were delicious. We ordered Queso blanco and guacamole and shrimp tacos(comes with refried beans and rice)and shrimp quesadilla. They were right amount of food and very tasty. We had room for desserts, so we ordered Tres Leche cake and Sopapilla with ice cream. I got coffee with my cake. They were so delicious. We highly recommend it! We can't wait to return to try other items.

My first day back from Vacay and I was craving Tex Mex. None of my usual haunts seemed appealing at the time. Maybe residual " Hunters Malady" from the challenge of tracking down all that great food on Kauai.Dialing in the local Yelp,a newby poped up. A superfluous perusal of a couple of reviews indicated it may be a find.It was early afternoon about 3 and the place was empty. Never a good sign. We ordered and the food came out hot in a reasonable amount of time. The chips were good but the salsa was served in tiny plastic condiments to go cups? Not cool My Tex Mex plate was just ok. The chili concarne which makes or breaks the dish wasn't quite there.Obviously this mom and pop is trying. They opened last January and appear to be struggling somewhat. I should have looked closer at the reviews before coming. The high 4 and 5 Stars were given by folks with only 25 or so reviews.I'd wait on Alexanders.

Simple restaurant but great margaritas and their Brisket Quesadillas are the bomb! This was my third time eating here in a week. My only complaint is the Street Corn. It tasted like it was frozen and I know corn isn't in season so they should make it a seasonal item. Service is excellent!

What a gem! Definitely my new go-to Mexican spot. Family-owned, and absolutely authentic, delicious food. Their drinks are also top-notch, and the prices are very reasonable.
