Aledo Diner

We had a great visit to this restaurant. We had drive to Aledo fro. FT. worth for a football game and stopped.on 9-15 around 1:30. We had never been here before.I had a Rider Omelette and my wife had a grilled chicken salad.We had great service from Jess (i think that was her name) The food came out fast and it was perfectly prepared. I loved the way some of the veggies were on top of the omelette.!!!!I highly recommend this family restaurant/diner to anyone who is visiting Aledo.

This review is for food only as we only did takeout. Will return again for the dine in experience.We have always seen this place packed full of people, so of course we wanted to check it out. We called in an order over the phone - 2 chicken fried steaks with scramble eggs. Hash, and biscuits with gravy. We picked it up about 20 minutes later pretty easily enough and went straight home to catch it while it's still hot. The chicken fried steak was well seasoned, the eggs lightly scrambled and seasoned well and the gravy was just the right thickness. Biscuits were good and fluffy. Overall, really good for takeout!Would love to return and update my review after grabbing a seat in the rush hour or finding a time where it's a bit less crowded.

Great little hole in the wall with a good menu selection. Only open during the day but amazing value.

This place is a regular lunchtime spot for me. The daily specials are priced low, with a great verity. Service is excellent to outstanding, depending on the obvious. Small town diner with big taste and curtesy. Cake with lunch till they run out!! Come early and don't clog up the system...this is no place to pull out your laptop, book, or hang out talking. They need that table

We were out in Aledo on a rainy Friday at lunchtime. Looked on Yelp and found this little place. When we walked in every table was full, but we didn't have to wait but just a few minute. The ladies running the place are very nice and service was good. I had chicken fried steak with two vegetables and my husband had fried catfish with two vegetables. Both were excellent and the serving sizes were just right. For the price I would definitely go back here again.

Wanted to love this place but unfortunately it just wasn't not quite up to par. Found it dirty, sticky, trash on floor, plates were greasy, etc. food was good but it needs a good cleaning.

Good prices and good service. The food was good. Simple things but they were better than average. Chicken fried steak didn't disassemble when I cut it and everything had good flavor.

Always amazing ! Cds and fried catfish were awesome today ! The manager and her staff are always so great !

Quick service quick delivery of food food is delicious prices have gone up quite a bit, but it's still a great place
