We decided to look for a new taqueria to try out and found this spot. Great little find!! Service was great! Very helpful and quick. It's located on the side of a shopping center right after the JITBOX. We did not dine in as we usually order to go and eat in our vehicle. The inside is very kept and clean. I was not expecting it to be as good as it was. I'll admit that. I was wrong and I love that lol Someone in the reviews said it was too expensive. The tacos are stuffed with meat and worth the price. We really expected them to be smaller and ordered more than we could eat. We ordered tacos de fajita, chorizo, and barbacoa. They give you plenty of salsa and veggie toppings. The meat was so good!! Very tasty and fresh. I took the chorizo and fajita meat and mixed it together and made me a couple of tacos de campechano. ;) So good! This place is one for the books. We will be back!

Confession Time: Gatekeeping Tacos No More Alright, alright, I'll admit it - I used to keep my favorite taco spots on the down low. Why? Because nothing kills my taco vibe faster than a TikTok-fueled line longer than la frontera. But you know what? It's 2024, new me, new rules. Time to share these gems with mis amigos. (Check my other reviews if you want to see what else I've been selfishly hiding.)First things first, let's be real: there aren't that many great taco spots in Dallas. Sure, Salsa Verde is solid--it's affordable, tasty, and packed with regulars, mostly paisanos who know what's up. And Revolver Taco Lounge? Best upscale tacos in town, if you're willing to pay Dallas-level prices for your taco fix.Enter Al Chile Taqueria. This place is like if La Banqueta, Cesar's, and El Tizoncito had a really tasty baby. With multiple locations, it's kinda turned into a mini-chain, but this specific spot is the OG of deliciousness. Seriously, these might be some of the best tacos I've had... like ever. Even the service, they shout your name and you walk to the half door. Waiters? You wish! Los Tacos: Let's be honest, not all tacos are created igual. Sure, they've got the usual lineup of meats you'd expect, but let me tell you, the cabeza (head), lengua (tongue), and tripa (pro tip: get it extra crispy, trust me) are on another level. Normally, I avoid these because they can taste like someone's lost pet, but aquí, I actually ditch my usual al pastor and bistec for these gems.Other Food: Quesadillas? Go for the tinga--spicy chicken heaven. Burgers? I mean, fine, if you must. But make it worth your while and throw in some suadero (thin belly meat) to level it up. Otherwise, estás wasting your time. The Downside: No bottled water aquí. But, hey, they have mineral water, Jarritos, and the holy grail: Mexican Coke. The ambiance? Eh, hit or miss--this isn't where you bring a first date unless you wanna impress them with your impeccable taste in tacos, not atmosphere. More of a grab-and-go joint for locals, with a TV that always has music playing--adds a nice touch of sabor.Pro Tip: There's a killer dessert spot next door--grab your bottled water over there before you swing by Al Chile, and head back for something sweet after. Also, sign up for their rewards program, because a taco discount on your cumpleaños is basically a love language.Bottom line, this place is fantástico. I've brought friends from Monterrey, Chihuahua, even Cuernavaca, and they all agree: this is the real deal. Chicanos need not apply. The salsa's spicy (como debe ser), but honestly, the tacos are so tasty you might forget to even use it. Buen provecho, mis amigos.

I stopped in here after church for a couple quick tacos and they were pretty tasty. I got a choriqueso and an al pastor queso. I will definitely be back to try more options. I tried both the hot sauces they brought out and man are they super spicy!

They completely changed their recipe. They now provide white corn instead of yellow. Also, the fajita meat has changed. I'm not impressed.
