Guatemalan/central american food is so delicious. I came here on the eve of Christmas Eve looking for a touch of traditional cooking. it's a very small, hole in the wall restaurant/bakery. i tried the following: tamale de res, pache, chuchito, pupusa de queso and pupusa de lorocco. to drink i got an atole de elote. super delicious, very flavorful. my favorite was the chuchito, prepared just the way my abuelita did. ordered to go the following:7 chuchitos3 tamales3 paches 2 pupusas 6 sweet breads (champurrada y cuernitos) 1 hot atole de elote grand total : $70.46

Very authentic Guatemalan food! Loved it! Just wish they had some rellenitos. The tamales had amazing flavors, and the pan dulce was a good-sized portion and flavorful.

Excellent, Authentic & delicious!!! This was a little Guatemalan pocket of heaven, we ordered so much food and tried the caldo! Great flavors everything was fresh and service was great! They checked on our table multiple times and we even got pan dulce to-go! Many blessings, we left happy and full! -Vince

Great street tacos, haven't tried much else because the taco plates are so good! Everyone is super nice, it helps if you have some basic Spanish. Highly recommend!

new place in GP. If you look back at my reviews from last year, I was on a pupusa phase looking for the best pupusas in dfw.This place opened last week and I was able to stop by after work today. Ordered pupusas and Guatemalan bread to goThe space-bright very pretty latín America inspired, a few tables to eat inside. First thing you see as walking in is the bread.Keep in mind that they are just starting so there is no menu yet, not a full service restaurant with waiters etc. With that being said,Pupusas- I only tried revueltas. Chicharrón con queso. So far the best I've had, the meat is so flavorful and the masa is super soft and has a wonderful taste. They gave me authentic salsa and also green sauce, the green sauce was perfect for me because like many pupusa salsa,it lacked spiciness. Ask for the green salsa if u like spicy.Bread-the only bread I've tried is Mexican pan dulce. This definitely is similar, It was sooo fresh, so soft, they had a variety and I've already eaten two pieces from the bunch I bought.(what diet?) Definitely grab a few pieces.I also saw chiles rellenos and pollo al horno pieces in the glass counter. I will be back to try more items.2/2. Picked up more bread and chiles rellenos definitely a must try, very different from mexican chiles. Stuffed with chicken and veggies, chopped very finely. As pictured. Wanted to try their chicken but they were out, it was almost closing time so it's understandable. Will be back

Great authentic Guatemalan food. The atmosphere is calm and the servers are friendly. A very nice selection of Guatemalan specialties. I was so hungry I forgot to take a photo of my food before it was gone. We ordered the caldo de res ( beef soup), pacaya a vegetable blossom squash like thing fried. it was very good, and Garnachas( a nacho kind of thing or it kind of reminded me of a Gordita. As if nachos and gordotas had a baby. The fruit water is all natural and delicious ( ask for less ice). We also bought several hard to find Guatemalan grocery items and some bread. I can't wait to get to the car n try my bread. We will definitely be back to eat here again. If you love Guatemalan good or just want something off the beaten path give this place a try.

Food is absolutely delicious. The "garnachas" are like mini tostadas and just plain awesome. They also have a bakery with delicious traditional sweet bread from Guatemala.
