Escargot...not good!
The sole fish was so tough I had to cut it with a knife. It did not have a good flavor
Filet that was supposed to be medium rare but was medium to medium well. Potato was so dry you couldn't eat it. Definitely not a $46 plate
Salad was nothing special

Beautiful and charming French restaurant. I made a mid week lunch reservation and was greeted with friendly smiles and seated immediately. The ambiance is cozy and feels intimate, perfect for romantic date nights. It was pretty quiet when we were here, plenty of available tables and seating. We had the french onion soup, salad with shrimp and creme brûlée. Everything was excellent. Our server was personable, kind and attentive. We really enjoyed learning the history of the restaurant. It's been around for a long time! I'll definitely be back again soon with the husband next time for dinner!

This quaint, QUIET and beautiful French restaurant deserves all the stars. My husband and I split the cream of asparagus soup and the steak tournedos dish. Our table enjoyed the smoked salmon and pate appetizers. I have been interested in all things asparagus since some recent travels early in the summer and the soup was so creamy and delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked with a rich delicious brown sauce and very fresh and simply cooked vegetables. The appetizers were also very nice. I had an amazing chocolate cake for dessert that was so decadent. Had to have some nice port along with that as well. The service was absolutely top notch and they had a well curated wine list.Unfortunately, I only took a picture of our wine, but I thought I would share because it was such a nice one.

Not sure why it has been so long since we came back here. The decor is white table cloth old world style. My wife thought it could use some updating, but I thought it was great. The one complaint we had was entering the restaurant is a bit awkward. The Saturday night we were there, you come directly into the dining room with people dining around you vs. a hostess stand and there is no one standing by the door to greet you. May be a COVID thing, but they need to fix it. Sometimes there is someone at the bar who would welcome you. We had a great table. Definitely a fine dining feel. Food and service are exceptional. We started with the Pate - perfect for two to share with a cocktail or wine. Next we shared a Caesar salad - my half with anchovies. Entrees were cooked to perfection. My wife had the filet of sole and I chose the duck. The duck was fresh and flavorful with a delicious brown sauce with a hint of orange - perfect and not overpowering the meat. The filet of sole was excellent. Embarrassed to say we tried TWO desserts. The Crème Brule got the top honors of the two, but the fresh strawberries marinated in Grand Marnier accompanied by some chocolate moose was a very close second. Nothing left to take home. The manager helped us with a wine selection and we enjoyed a nice 2010 Boudreaux. We won't make it so long next time between visits!

Addison cafe is still at the top of their game, with fabulous food, service, and quiet, charming atmosphere. The guests here are 'in the know' and have been coming here for years. We love the Caesar salad, wines, authentic french onion soup, grilled salmon, filet of sole, filet mignon, lamb, duck. cappuccinos, and cappuccino pie!Ali and Amir are super kind, thoughtful, and accommodating. They are awesome with special requests. We always choose the Addison cafe to de-stress and enjoy an amazing, delicious evening!

Terrible. Ordered the lamb which was overcooked and had utterly no taste. Service was good but atmosphere was creepy given we were there only patrons there from 5:00-6:30. Completely empty. I'm not sure why they remain open. Something very eerie about this place. Never again!

Excellent service. Done by owner for lunch. Food was mixed. One guest had sole and enjoyed it. The other guest did not like it. A third guest enjoyed his lunch. Owner gave a dessert to the table to share to make up for the discarded sole. This is a pleasant place, better than expected from the street.
