A Taste of Louisiana

This was by far the best fried chicken I've had since I've been here n Texas. The crispy outside, juicy inside. Perfect flavor. Perfect seasoning!!!

I tried the A Taste of Louisiana truck the man and lady running the truck were very nice and the food was cooked to order. I had the Spicy Sausage Po Boy and the Cajun Fried Okra both were very tasty and reasonably priced for what you get. I will definitely buy from them again.

I am an Office Manager for a non-profit having a fundraising event. We had been in communication with the owner, Matt, via email/phone asking if he would be willing to come out with his truck to serve food at our location. Our attendees would purchase his food. He said he would be there and we even tried to get him to sign a contract/agreement- which he refused to do- but, via email, we have him stating his prices for our attendees and that he would be there. THE DAY OF THE EVENT, he calls us and says he's not coming because of the weather and that we could not guarantee he would make enough money. The weather was not that bad and actually our event is rain or shine.I would NEVER recommend this food truck EVER!

Another "new to me" truck at the Fort Worth Food Park. I've tried their catering but this is for the truck.Tonight I sampled the Crawfish Etoufee. Nice consistency (not too wet, not too dry), tender veggies (including large mushrooms that may or may not be canned), plentiful crawfish, and not too much filler rice. The roux was slightly on the soupy side but improved with a couple shakes of Cajun seasoning from their selection of hot sauces and other seasoning spices for self-serve. \Verdict? Safe for my out of town guests but a bit mild for me. But service is fast and friendly and I will return to try other advertised yummies as the table next to me was raving about their po-boys and boudin balls and alas, I was too stuffed to try another dish.

I was just in New Orleans a few weeks ago. The food at A Taste of Louisiana was very good i give them 4 stars

Good flavor - small portions.Had their "large" Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya today for lunch. It came in a 12 oz styrofoam cup. I asked if it was the large and the server confirmed that it was.The flavor and spice was very good although the ratio of rice to meat was a little heavy on the rice given the price.For $6.25 plus a $1.00 tip this is way too small in portion size.I'll be hitting the vending machine in the break room.

Friendly and great food. Fries and catfish were fresh and really good. Not a meth house. Not sure what Utah gal was reviewing but it wasn't this place.

Great price, friendly service, made to order, best crawfish etouffee I've had outside of Louisiana! I would definitely order from them again!

I got the $5.50 (small) Catfish Poboy today for lunch. The taste was okay, but the portion of catfish was disappointing. The castfish was a very THIN slice, about 2 1/2 inches long, on a 4 inch sandwich.I will not be a return customer.
