A real "good 'ol boy" Texas hole in the wall BBQ place.We were pre-scouting locations to see the 2024 Eclipse and found this place well rated.I am not sure if they take cash b/c the ordering systems (surprisingly) was via kiosk. (looked like the couple in back was doing food and made this choice to save on a cashier- not sure if they even would take cash - but it sure seems like the type of place that would)It was a Thursday around 11:10 - and they already had a few customers in back. The vibe was EXACTLY what you want - they were even playing this local country station and I had never ever heard any of the songs, really old school and I loved it.Hubbs "smitty" brisket sandwich was the clear winner - though the raw jalapeños were a bit much for me- the roll was perfection, a little sweet and extra soft and chewy, also larger than most sandwiches. My pork rib plate was pretty good, the beans and mac and cheese were nothing special. I will say the ribs were greatly enhanced by their BBQ sauce on the side.Bill was $32.I had read about some desserts here - but the only offing that say was slices of pecan pie - they looked very good and jam-packed with pecans - but we resisted.

Very good bar-bq excellent service, and nice friendly atmosphere. The food is so good! My first time here love the layout back environment! Really nice staff!

Small town BBQ restaurant that we tried for lunch. The staff was very friendly and they recommended the brisket, since we were clearly from out of town.I went with the Brisket Sandwich (chopped up) with a side of coleslaw and green beans. I thought the sandwich was delicious. The meat had great flavor and I enjoyed their BBQ sauce. The bun sealed the whole meal together, it was fantastic. The sides weren't horrible but they weren't something I'd go out of my way to order again. The coleslaw was very interesting and was different than anything I've had before. I believe they called it a southwest coleslaw and it included cheese. The green beans were my favorite of the two, but still nothing special.Overall, small little BBQ spot with quality meat and friendly staff. We would definitely come back.

Finally made it to 4T's and we were not disappointed! We got there early so we'd be sure nothing would run out. My husband and I shared a two meat plate, consisting of ribs, brisket, potato salad, baked beans & Mac & cheese. Tops Soulman's any day; we will be back!

Solid BBQ. Best kept secret in Forney. Definitely the best in town. I wish they were open for dinner

BEST BRISKET IN TEXAS! I think this review has been put off for FAR too long. I've been a regular at 4Ts for about 2 years now. I love every single aspect of their bar-bq; hickory smoked to perfection. When I got married in 2015 I used a different bar bq spot, because I hadn't found this GOLDEN GEM yet. I wish I could go back in time and have these wonder people cater my wedding. Their meats are to die for, and if you're hungry for some Q, you better make it down there by 11 so you can have your choice of meat! They do sell out, so make sure you're there bright and early! Now to the real MEAT of this review. I've gotten their smoked turkey more times than I can count. It's absolutely tender and juicy, never a dry bite. BEST BRISKET IN TEXAS!!! And I mean that quite literally. I have never once, in my 15 years of culinary encounters, I am 30, I have never tasted anything so beautiful as 4Ts brisket. I would suggest getting a brisket sandwich if it's your first time. Or if you want something a little different than Q. They have a great burger! Juicy, flavorful, and satisfying. The Ribs are quite literally the 'baddest hombres' this side of the Mississippi. No one can beat their flavors. BUT YOU CANT FORGET THE PORK SAUCE! It's a vinegar based, peppery sauce for all things PORK. The pulled pork is heaven with juice and tenderness. But, again do not forget the pork sauce. Before covid, and the meat shortage. Every Saturday he would offer the absolutely, most delicious, pork belly burnt ends you'll ever try. They offer different specials, on different days. They will always have something you'll want to enjoy I promise! And if you need to have something sweet to finish your meal? Well their banana pudding is a great treat. But by far, Miss Cyndis chocolate pecan pie will leave you wanting the whole pie!I have been to countless numbers of bar-bq joints in Texas. I have travelled, I have sampled, and 4Ts is hands down, by far and wide the best!! I come at least once a week. It's a meal that you'll be craving every time you want bar-bq.

This is the best BBQ brisket I've had since arriving in Forney!! I ordered the "Schmitty " brisket sandwich! WOW!!! This is a lunch spot only. 11-3. Nothing fancy til u take a bite!!! WOW!!!! Delicious!!I definitely recommend you stop in!!

Solid lunch spot for BBQ is Forney. Sausage was great. Brisket was masterfully smoked. Kinda far to go but is a must try

I would advise that POC avoid this place at all costs. I ordered here once and NEVER will again. The entire vibe of this place wasn't welcoming at all. On top of that the "BBQ" was bland and pathetic. The owners were both very rude an inpatient when I had a question while ordering though the kiosk. By far the worse BBQ establishment that I've ever visited.

We were traveling back from Dallas when I got a hankering for some BBQ! Discovered 4T's on YELP, so we thought why not! Needless to say we were not disappointed! The nicest lady took our order with helpful suggestions on what sides to get and what was already sold out. Our food was hot and delicious! I got the chopped beef sandwich with potato salad. The brisket was on point with a good combination of fatty and lean. Potato salad definitely had to be made homemade because of the consistency of it. Just the right amount of every ingredient.My husband got jalapeño sausage and pulled pork. He's not an "out of his way" seeker of BBQ. So when I say he walked away with a full belly it had to be something special. The place and restrooms were clean and again the staff was friendly. We would definitely recommend this place and we will be going back!
