4 Kahunas Tiki Lounge

A gem!My friends and I were in town to attend a graduation and we're glad we stumbled upon this tiki bar. It was very beautifully decorated and the staff was very friendly. We got a couple of drinks but my favorite was the seasonal Minty Claus. It had just the right amount of holiday spirit and it wasn't overly sweet. A perfect drink if you ask me! There's parking right out front.Would return!

What happened?This used to be spectacular. Service went to crap. Drinks are now low quality junk. Ambiance is still wonderful.

I had the Zombie and Tidepool which were delicious. I would recommend these if you prefer fruiter drinks where you can't taste the alcohol as much. The service was great and our drinks were ready shortly after ordering them. The aesthetics of the place live up to its name and was super nice. They also have a dog that roams around so feel free to give him some pets while you are there. They also have varying table sizes and sections to accommodate varying party sizes.

We LOVE a tiki bar and have no idea why more cities don't have them. This one is super fun! Everyone was enjoying a drink that is finished with flames. Love the constant Gilligan's Island on the bar tv. The "Missionary's Downfall" and Mai Tai were delish! Bar tenders were friendly, enthusiastic, and efficient - they look like they are having fun!!

Every year I make a pilgrimage to Dallas for a horror convention with friends. Since my last visit my friends have gotten into Tiki drinks. Let me tell you, visiting 4 Kahunas was like sitting in an early 60s ultra cool movie. The place is smallish and located near AT&T Stadium. The ambiance is all out Tiki. There were a couple of low key dogs roaming around in the place, adding a positive laid back vibe. Enough about the room, the drinks were the highlight. They have an extensive menu and they all looked enticing. The prices were reasonable. Anywhere from $9 to $14 depending on what you order. The drinks were very tasty and deceptively strong. I understand the allure of Tiki now. However, I am very grateful we took an Uber. These packed a punch. Bottom line worth the visit and worth the experience!

I LOVED this spot! I was in town visiting from Florida and my friend (who is a local) stopped in. 4 Kahunas is located in a cute little area of town with a bunch of other restaurants and drinking establishments, very walkable. It's decorated like your typical tiki spot with an added dive bar twist. Their menu is listed online, I never saw a paper menu but that was fine! I was shocked by the prices, in FL a typical tiki bar will easily run you $18-22 so I was very happy to see more reasonable prices at 4 Kahunas. Both bartenders were super friendly, helping us make decisions about cocktails. I got a cocktail (I can't remember the name) and it had the most elaborate garnish I've ever seen on a drink (aside from a bloody mary) It was a pirate ship! I loved it! We also saw another drink that had a dolphin made out of a banana as a garnish. Anyway, my first drink was delicious and very strong, like hella strong! My friend said her drink was strong too! The vibe inside was very relaxed so we enjoyed just hanging out and catching up somewhere where we could actually hear each other. My second drink was a seasonal drink with ube, it was good but not as good as my first. Overall, we got 5 drinks and our total was like $65 after tip which is amazing in my opinion. It was a great time with great drinks and company!

Almost 6 years later and the rating holds true. The cocktails here never disappoint. The flavors range from citrusy to sweet, to boozy, to bittersweet. Something for everyone. It can not be stressed enough that patience is the key here. This is not a vodka soda. There are many ingredients involved, and many drinks have cool and decorative designs (see photos). These are well crafted by fantastic bartenders. If you want a quick drink, this probably isn't the right place. This spot is all about amazing drinks in an amazing environment. A little oasis.

Went to visit 4 Kahunas Tiki Lounge again after 48 thousand years. HahaTo kick off our tropical journey for the night, I decided to try the Tropical Itch cocktail. This refreshing concoction combined Over Proof Rum, Over Proof Bourbon, Lime Juice, Passion Fruit, Dry Curacao, and Bitters. A classic from '57! The flavors created a perfect balance of sweet and tangy, It will leave you yearning for another sip.Next on the line up was the Pirates Port. Crafted Dark Rum, Ruby Port, Lemon Juice, Passion Fruit, and Tea this drink had a distinct kick.For those seeking a bold and potent libation, the Zombie was an absolute standout. This powerful concoction featured a blend of 151 Rum, Golden Rum, Dark Rum, Lime Juice, Passion Fruit, Grapefruit Juice, Pineapple Juice, Absinthe, and bitters. With each sip, the Zombie awakened my taste buds with its intense flavors and a touch of tropical mystique. It was a true testament to the skilled craftsmanship of the mixologists at 4 Kahunas. As described on their menu "A couple of these may give you that "zombie walk", so watch out!"Last but certainly not least, We indulged in the classic Blue Hawaiian cocktail. This tropical delight with combined Light Rum, Coconut, Blue Curacao, Lemon Juice, Pineapple Juice and Coconut. Served in an eye-catching glass garnished with a beautiful purple Dendrobium orchid. The flavors melded together harmoniously, creating a refreshing and visually appealing drink.Beyond the exquisite cocktails, 4 Kahunas boasted an lively atmosphere. The décor, music, and friendly staff all contributed to the awesome experience, making us feel like we had escaped to a tropical oasis. The bartenders were knowledgeable, passionate, and eager to guide us through their menu, ensuring that each drink was crafted to perfection. This place is truly a tropical escape.

I love tiki bars! I try to visit as many as I can! This one had the usual tropical decor, boozy cocktails in fun glasses, Godzilla playing on the tv...but what made this tiki bar better than the others, was our bartender, Logan. He obviously loves making cocktails not just drinks but experiences (as seen in my videos).

Great drinks and even better atmosphere! They really did this tiki bar right. The only downside for me is that I don't live closer so I can go more often.
