Good beer is an instant win for me, but this place backs it up with a killer kitchen. They source ingredients locally, provide seasonally accurate monthly specials and ooo baby gimme them duck fat fries.Just know they tend to tap more bitter & sour beers than most craft breweries.

We love the food and the beers here! You can't beat the patio when there's nice weather but even today (112F) they have enough misters and shade that's it's bearable! I always get the PBJ burger and it's the best version of this around. No other PBJ burgers compare- the jalapeño jelly with the PB and thick bacon is the perfect combo! Beware this burger is MESSY! But Worth IT!Today I ordered my burger medium and it was a little under, but usually it's perfect. The rosemary thyme fries are so cravable. Perfect amount of salt, herbs, and crispness. The homemade ketchup is actually really tasty and my kids will eat it so that is always a plus All the beers are great, and their tacos are tasty too!The service is always genuine and kind. Today was a little slow, but our server was very sweet and knowledgeable offering up suggestions on what to order.

Arizona Wilderness is a bit like your favorite hiking trail--lots of open space, a bit rugged around the edges, but full of charm and adventure. The seating options, both indoors and outdoors, are fantastic. Whether it's heaters in the winter or misters in the summer, they've got you covered. The long bar and plentiful tables make it an excellent spot for groups, and while it's loud, it's the kind of lively buzz that adds to the atmosphere rather than detracts. Just be prepared to hunt for parking when it's busy--think of it as a warm-up for your beer-drinking session.Speaking of beer, this place is a microbrewery dream come true. The beer selection is off the chain, with a rotating roster of new brews on tap almost daily, alongside reliable favorites. If you're a beer lover, this is your playground. However, the food is a different story. It's not terrible, but it tends to fall a bit short of the mark. The chicken tenders and salads are decent, but the burgers often miss the sweet spot for those who prefer them medium and pink.Service at Arizona Wilderness can be a bit of a wild ride. You'll usually be seated and have your drink order taken quickly, but after that, it can be hit or miss. A pro tip: put in your food order when you order your drinks, and don't hesitate to flag down a server when you're ready to check out. A bit of assertiveness goes a long way here. All in all, Arizona Wilderness is a great spot for beer enthusiasts and groups looking for a lively hangout. The ambiance and beer selection earn high marks, even if the food and service can be a bit inconsistent.

I'll start off by saying that the drinks at this place are really good! I ordered the Sonora Sunset, which is like a prickly pear margarita and it was REALLY good and strong! I definitely recommend! For the appetizer we ordered the artichoke dip, which was pretty good. The balsamic tomatoes gave it a really nice flavor. For the entree I ordered the vegan Sonoran cajun and this is where the restaurant lost me. The sandwich was extremely dry and parts of it had this weird almost fishy taste. It was so odd. I definitely won't order this again as I didn't really like it. The vegan fries it came with were pretty good and I'm happy to see this restaurant have a vegan menu. Next time we go here I'll try something different. The restaurant itself it really cool and the service was good as well.

I did not expect to give this place such a great review only because I'm not usually impressed by bar type restaurants and food. The restaurant definitely put time and effort to create a rustic farmhouse, garden upbeat vibe. But I was left so impressed and i actually would recommend this place to anyone! They use such great and local ingredients. Everything is made with such quality and effort that you can definitely see and taste. I got the chicken and waffles, and I tore that plate up. There wasn't a single particle left behind, it was amazing. I also tried the other foods and each was so good, I will definitely be back. The service was great too and the prices were definitely affordable for the quality. I think this place definitely deserves each star

We came to AZ Wilderness for the first time in awhile. We waited about 30 minutes for a table since it can get very busy here on the weekends. I was underwhelmed with the food. We ordered the confit wings, which used to be lollipop drumsticks with lots of meat. The seasoning of the wings was amazing as usual, but I thought it was very expensive ($17) for the amount of wings and the meat on those wings. The pickled carrots that came with the wings were spicy and tangy. I ordered the PB&J burger and my husband ordered the special Los Suns burger. We weren't blown away by either. The burger meat was cooked well, but the overall flavor was not there. The bacon on the PB&J burger was overcooked and bark like. The fries are great here though!! The beers were great as always. I would come back for the fries and beer. The service was great. Our server was very nice and attentive.

LOVE LOVE this place! My favorite brewery in AZ. I love trying their recently tapped whenever I go. I got the Grande Victoria and my boyfriend got the Superb Owl. Both delicious! If there's one food item you have to get, it's the the Elote Dip. I order this every time and it's extremely addictive. (Tip: ask for some extra lime to put on it, it's a game changer) Food ordered:The Fingers and Fries are always good, love the honey mustard that's comes with. My boyfriends always likes to try the burger of the month, and he has yet to be disappointed. The service here is always great. Good vibes and I always feel well taken care of. We will continue to come back here! Highly recommend!

Recommend: On behalf of: the food, service and general ambiance; without a doubt, one of THE BEST restaurants in AZ, and certainly my one of TWO favorite restaurants in and around Phoenix! The story behind this place is INCREDIBLE. A couple of owners, starting out as 'Brewers', moved onto chef prepared meals that rival, if not put TO SHAME other 'burger' type styled food joints. This is a completely UNIQUE, tasty and wonderfully enjoyable atmosphere gold-plated with stunning delicious and crisp beers with stomach-starving, satisfying FOOD! The meals are a one off in that it's all sustainably grown, picked and made from local AZ businesses, including the delectable salads! You've likely NOT tasted greens in a salad like this...This place is a win on many, many levels, but their food and customer service is above reproach. I mean that. The brewskis on tap were flavorful, the food, even the 'tortilla chips' are made here! - but literally all of their menu items were a sophisticated surprise. I want to leave this review short; only because I think, recommend and ENCOURAGE you to go check this place out. Time for my 'Terminator' Line: 'I'll be back!'
