I remember the first time I had Chinese food in this area at Wendell Hom's Teapot Inn. He opened it in 1966 and my brother worked there while he went to college at SDSU. It was dark and I loved the food there.Arizona Chinese Restaurant is bright and full of light. Menu is huge.Bbq pork chow mein was a huge plate of food which was enough for 2 meals. Bbq pork was tender and had a delicious 5 star powder based flavor. Dish had a smoky wok flavor I loved.Pork egg rolls had a thin crunchy layer and a tasty pork filling.2nd visit. I tried the duck won ton soup. Lots of duck, broccoli, and napa cabbage. Duck was tender and had a delicious 5 star powder based flavor. Won tons were small and I liked the flavor from the pork and shrimp mixture. Great tasting dish.3rd visit I tried the fried game hen and the Arizona fried rice. Game hen had a crispy skin and tasty fried flavor. Sadly it was dry. I wouldn't order this dish again. Fried rice had a smoky flavor from the wok and I liked the mix of shrimp, chicken, and bbq pork. Excellent ratio of meat to rice. Very tasty and I had enough rice for 2 meals. So far my favorite dish is the duck won ton soup.Staff was nice and got my order out quick.

If you're looking for some Tijuana style Chinese food, this is the place to go. All the items I've tried are delicious and this is a restaurant I keep coming back to when I'm craving Chinese food. The waitresses are always friendly and they have both English and Spanish menus. There's a decent amount of parking and seating inside. Each plate ranges from $13-20 but I always leave with enough leftovers to eat again. Truly deserves more stars than it currently has!

Delicious Chinese food! This is Cantonese style which was so delicious without the greasy feeling of other Chinese restaurants. We had their Napa cabbage/chicken soup, bbq pork, and almond chicken. Will definitely be back to try more dishes like their wor won ton soup which our server said was her favorite. Total hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant and you know it's gonna be authentically good! We will be returning!

Deliciously cooked dishes paired with efficient, courteous servers puts this place on my map.First visit I ordered the Chinese combination from the lunch menu. It comes with soup and rice, I chose the pork fried rice. Second visit I ordered the chicken curry with white rice. I love how they cook the vegetables, just right. Not too much or too little. The curry sauce had depths of flavor that I kept dipping everything into. There is plenty of parking in this small strip mall. The menu offers many choices under each category and is well organized. Upon entering you are greeted promptly and given the choice to pick your own seat.Cool fact; Family owned and operated since 1982.Looking forward to more lunch's here.

This place has always been my go to for Chinese food. Always fast service, so many choices on their menu and love everything I've had from the menu. The egg rolls, Chop suey and sweet and sour chicken wings and pork fried rice are my favorite. This place reminds me of Mexican Chinese food I've had in TJ.

A staple of the Southwest Chula Vista for years...since the 80's. Comfort Chinese food that takes me back to my youth when I lived in Baja. Love it!

Either I'm in another world but the chow mein was terrible. Mostly bean sprouts No noodles and 1-2 broccoli.... The sweet and sour pork was ok, very traditional who could go wrong. This is not a true Chinese restaurant....I was very disappointed

Ordered food to go service was good , food was not good super greasy not really flavorful idk what kind of chop suey it was but it was mixed in with normal noodles? and really expensive. Spent $98 to feed four i ordered the family combo 1 and you have to pay for every person $16.95 I believe, ended up throwing all the food away after one serving. Used to come here years ago not the same. Won't come back.
