Arizona Cafe

I learned how to play pool here :) I've always been shy when it comes to a pool table, but between the people, music, and my helpful date I finally learned. There are two tables, a bunch of high tables, and a few booths. Easy seating at the bar. Enough TV's to pick which games you'd like to watch. The juke box is where most of the magic happens. Food wise, I've tried the regular burger - delicious! The people who work here are friendly. The service is more than great :)

We met some friends at Arizona Cafe for some Saturday NFL football. We love AZ, but it had been a while since our last visit. We walked in and found our friends sitting at a high-top to the left of the bar. Sarah was our bartender. She grabbed a seltzer for Becky and a pint of Estrella Jalisco for me. I can't remember ever seeing EJ on tap anywhere else. Not my favorite Mexican beer, but a decent offering. Their seltzer offerings, Bud Light Seltzer only, leaves a lot to be desired for Becky. Service was good. The AZ has TVs everywhere. Our NFL games were on and so were the college bowl games we wanted to see. We didn't have to choose. Those watching the NBA or NCAA basketball were also accommodated.Always a good time at Arizona Cafe.

Stopped in with the boyfriend after an afternoon of walking through the pier of OB. We were just visiting from the Bay Area so it's always fun to stumble into local small businesses to support.I was craving for a Chicago style hot dog and the menu here happened to offer it (I saw it on the menu posted on the window as we were casually walking by). The hot dog came with tomatoes, pickles, sports peppers, relish & onions for $8.50 a pop. Not the greatest I have ever had but it did the job in satisfying my craving.Looks like these guys have a great beer, wine, and spirit list. There are pool tables and a huge space for large groups to gather. I bet this is a cool spot to hang out at on nights and weekends. They don't have their own private lot so prepare to look for street parking if you're driving in.

Fabulous staff, good food, lots of options for drink, TVs galore and several pool tables. In my drinking days, I loved AZ because of the variety of drinks and cocktails. What keeps me coming back now is the Chicago Dog. So delicious and true to ChiTown. I tried the TJ dog on my last trip and it was amazing as well. Definitely a favorite place to watch Sunday football and grab some hangover food.

Great bar with good food. Run by friendly people in a nice spot in Ocean Beach. Would recommend

the guy at the door was drunk af and couldn't handle who's get in and out. Hadrly not recommend!
