We have eaten at Arisu a few times now. Our first experience here was also our first having Korean food, and the owner came over multiple times to check on us and make sure everything was good. She told us about the restaurant and how the recipes were family recipes. The restaurant is well laid out and not loud at all. If you want good Korean food, definitely check it out.

I dined at Arisu on Sunday morning, October 13, 2024, around noon. The restaurant was quite empty and is located in the Oaks Shopping Mall plaza, which offers plenty of parking. I was greeted warmly upon entering and quickly shown to a table. They serve both Korean BBQ and regular dining, with a menu that features a nice variety of authentic Korean dishes without being overwhelming. There's one page for regular dining and another for Korean BBQ.For my appetizer, I chose gimbap, which arrived almost instantly--making me wonder if it was pre-made. It included spinach, egg, beef, carrot, and yellow radish. It was tasty, although I found the rice a bit mushy. For my entrée, I ordered the LA galbi combo with tofu soup. I thought it was a great combination, offering both a meat dish and a soup. The tofu soup allowed me to choose my protein and spice level; I opted for oysters. The galbi was cooked perfectly--tender and flavorful. I really enjoyed the soup, which was well-seasoned and generously filled with oysters. The side banchan options were good, though the portions were a bit small. However, the server was happy to refill them as many times as I wanted.Overall, I think Arisu is a great addition to Murfreesboro's Korean BBQ scene, offering delicious food and excellent service.

There's no KBBQ spots near where I live so I was excited to try Arisu while in TN for my birthday week.Honestly I'm not sure if they're trying to be an upscale Korean BBQ restaurant with their fancy gold dinnerware, I definitely felt like I was at a regular restaurant. I missed the huge overhead vents that classic KBBQ spots in CA would have too, that just adds to the ambience.I ordered the spicy rice cake and corn cheese. My husband also got the corn cheese, and the pork belly. I think both of us enjoyed the corn cheese cause who wouldn't enjoy some corn with a heaping amount of cheese... but our main dishes were definitely lacking. I tried some of the pork belly and it didn't have much flavor. It tasted very salty and fatty. I don't think it was worth the $25 price tag. My spicy rice cake was decent but nothing special. If we were to give them a second try I'd probably try their bulgogi beef. Maybe their spicy rice cake and pork belly just aren't the best options on their menu.Service was decent. Our waitress was friendly and came around to check up on us. The restaurant was surprisingly empty for it being a Sunday evening but it may also be because they're a little overpriced.Overall I would say Arisu is ok. Nothing like KBBQ I've had in CA though. Hopefully there are more authentic spots in TN.

Very nice place with a nice dining area. Trendy and clean, if I hadn't carried it out I'm sure it would have been comfortable and pleasant. The bibimbop was nicely assembled just as ordered and very tasty. The sauces were on the side so I could adjust the spiciness. The portion size was large and it was an enjoyable lunch. Ordered carry-out which I highly recommend. The menu allows customization of the dish so you can choose your protein and add or remove ingredients. The online ordering page said 20-25 minutes for pickup so I ordered about 20 minutes before I would be there for pickup. I received a text in about 10 minutes that my order was ready. Tip: take the online timing with a grain of salt. They are much quicker if they aren't slammed with orders.

I dined at Arisu Korean BBQ & Tofu on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 7 pm. This review is based on regular dining experience only without the Korean bbq. I enjoyed this restaurant for its expansive menu and ambience. The restaurant looked new and clean and I thought the smoky lighting thing in the middle of the booths section looked cool. The food here was pretty good. The kimbap was simple, but delicious. It was a very nice snack. The seafood pancake had a decent amount of seafood and was fried well. The spicy rice cake tteokbokki was spicy and tasted what I would expect from the classic Korean snack/street food. I had the bulgogi combo with the tofu soup. The tofu soup had good flavor, but I was disappointed in the cook of the bulgogi. It was very moist and lacked the char flavor I would expect from a Korean Bbq restaurant. I recommend getting the kalbi combo over the bulgogi combo for this reason. The side dishes were decent.Service was average. It was attentive at the beginning of the dinner, but got noticeably slow towards the middle and end of the dinner. Server forgot a couple things and took a while to get the check and pay. But, the server was nice though. Overall, this is a pretty decent kbbq restaurant for regular dining.

I was seated right away about 6pm on a Friday (great time) people were just coming in so I beat the crowd. The server was attentive, professional, funny, and helpful. The restaurant was decorated appropriately to the cuisine being served, not loud, comfortable atmosphere.Take a look at the menu make your own mind up on what to eat. However, some MUST taste recommendations from me are as follows:Rice cake appetizer, Spicy Squid, and the Seafood Bibimbap.... Table #16 .....Pennsylvania visitors.

Everything we ordered was so yummy!! I am a Korean food lover so I feel like I have a sense of what's good and what's not especially the ones here in Nashville. This one just recently opened up in Murfreesboro. They have unlimited bonchon and our favorite thing that we ordered was the bibimbap. The dolsot claypot is gigantic and we could not finish so it was definitely worth the price. Overall, portions were really filling and will come again to try other items! Service was amazing and they come to check on you very often and fill your water!

I visited Arisu Korean BBQ & Tofu, the place is bright and very welcoming. This was a late lunch so they weren't very busy, I was seated and my server got me some water and a beer. The menu has a lot of the standard Korean dishes along with some specialty items. I started with some Fried Dumplings and the Beef Bulgogi with white rice. The fried dumplings are good and the sauce provided was nice and light. The Bulgogi meat is marinated for 48 hours and I believe it is a variety of cuts of beef. I really enjoyed is the gentle sweetness of the beef with a very slight salty flavor. I enjoyed the various Bachan plates, they were a nice addition to the Bulgogi dish...especially the sweet shaved radish and marinated broccoli. You experience a wealth of flavors (sweet, sour, bitter, spicy, earthy, etc.) with the Bulgogi and Bachan plates. Bottom line...the food and service here is exceptional. You can have them cook, you cook, or even have a cooking party. No doubt I left with a satisfied heart, a full stomach, and a smile.I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Kee...I could tell she is very proud of this place and really enjoys interacting with the customers. She told me they are staying true to Korean recipes and her Aunt is in the kitchen. Love the "family" feel of the place and can't wait to try some of the other dishes like the Beef Short Rib or Korean Dumpling soups.

Visited Dec 23, 2023.A new K-BBQ and the only one in the boro! Good food if you're in the area and not wanting to drive to Nashville! Aesthetics were simple with gold finishes for the plating and utensils. Service was okay, everyone was nice/amicable but was not fast. The lady manager was great with making sure our orders were prepped correctly. Overall great opening, plenty of seating/parking, just needs faster service.
