Arista Wine Cellars

This is a great wine shop with everything you need (glassware on down). They have a great mix of wines from all over the old world and the new, with plenty of west coast US selections.It's a large space, with a long ramp down into the main shop. You see wooden cases of tons of interesting reds, including what seem to be some very nice specialty items. Up front are tons of signs, tableware, utensils, and glasses appropriate for every style. Really a gorgeous selection. We poked around and found some nice WA bottles, and the owner was super helpful and well-informed, very graciously guiding us through some pretty general questions about what was interesting in the shop.Although the focus on tastings here seems a bit less than some other shops in the area, I will definitely be back when I need a nice bottle, especially old world stuff.

This place is so great. Their Saturday tastings are a wonderful way to try new things, Roger and the crew are super helpful, and they have a great selection in stock. They will search the interweb high and low to find you unique bottles if you find something cool they don't stock, and the prices are competitive. Best local ever.

This team has the best wine and customer service!! They have a variety of wine clubs to sign up for, offer great menu options and recipe support! There have been times when I needed a few bottles to be chosen, stuck into the cooler and ready for me to grab them on my way to a party, all with low fuss and great wine choices. I'm so glad they are in the neighborhood.

I live two blocks from this shop and definitely need to spend more time here. Despite my close proximity, my first visit wasn't until a few months ago, when I was invited to a friend's house for dinner and I had no clue what wine with what was being served. I stopped by and was greeted with a very friendly guy who helped me pick not one, but two lovely bottles within my budget. The selections were perfect and helped make a terrific evening. I was given instructions on which bottle to use first to help with the progression of the meal, and it was spot on!I learned they have free wine tasting on Saturdays, which I hope to try soon.

These guys are just awesome! You need any wine of choice, this is the place to go. Even if there was a particular wine that you had a restuarant that you loved, just write the kind down and they are more then happy to special order the wine for you. Super friendly service, and if you have no idea what to get they will always find a complementary wine for the meal you are having! Wine tastings often on Saturday's which is always a blast as well. Just recently they picked up a Hors dourves line with different spreads and what not. I tried it on a night of an event down there and it was so delicious! I truly recommend people asking about this new product!

I have been coming to your Saturday wine tastings for years. You always have very interesting lineups. Best free tastings in the PNW, and I never left without at least one bottle. Today I mentioned that I have a little over case of wine I need to pack for a move to the east coast and you guys just gave me a sweet 15-bottle packing box. For all such things I can't recommend you guys enough. Cheers!!

Great wine shop! Everything you could need, tastings every Saturday, super helpful staff! I like to support local businesses so I joined the wine club and have generally loved the wines they choose each month. Regular emails are informative which I appreciate!​

Arista has a wonderful selection of wines and a great, knowledgeable staff. They are very helpful and will help you find the perfect wine for your occasion. Their wine selection ranges from inexpensive to expensive and cult wines. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely wonderful! I'm always hearing from my family how great Arista is. They are regulars and usually have a bottle open on Saturdays at home with plenty to say about that afternoon's free tasting. The shop is warm, a tad sophisticated, a bit eclectic, and exudes welcome. They have done a fantastic job creating a sense of community and hospitality, with a passion for great wine. In addition to a great tasting of several French wines when I visited, I was impressed by the merchandise available. A great selection of wine related gifts and decor.The shop dog, Sophie, is an absolute sweetheart, too.
