I simply cannot understand this place! They hand out literally a lump of dough, they call it authentic Persian bread and have the audacity to charge a whopping $7 for it!! This is crazy town! The same bread last year was $3.50! i wouldn't waste time or money at this place!

Im judging solely based on the desserts and the service. I didn't read any other reviews until after we got home and im really disappointed by the one star reviews. I had a good experience though and would definitely like to come back and try more food and their bread. I loved the big ovens and watching the guys stretch out the bread and putting it in the oven. That was a fun experience. It's a little bit of a grocery store with international foods. Reminds me of many Russian or European stores I go to. It's never fully clean or beautifully designed. It's just functional. Im pretty used to that so that's not a deal breaker for me. There is a large assortment of cookies. We took a sampler box, I can't say im impressed. Nothing was blowing my mind. But the baklava.....YUM!! Worth it. We tried one of each and I loved them. Some are sweeter than others and all very nicely flavored and crispy. I would come back for the baklava for sure. Don't think I would get any cookies again though. Whoever was helping us was really friendly and patient with our indecisiveness.

Picked up a huge sangak, baklava, creme puffs, roll cake, and a semi-chocolate mousse cake here for Persian New Year. The owner was kind, funny and treated us very well. Their oven is enormous! We were running late, arrived near closing time and I was concerned that the food wouldn't be fresh, but everything was perfect--such great flavors, many smiles all-around.They also have grocery items inside, along with drinks, and probably the biggest doogh I've ever seen--was it 2 liters? 2 gallons? Who knows. We will definitely be back to try the barbari and taftun!

I got the Aria Special Pizza, Beef Jambon Cold Sandwich, Chicken Jambon Cold Sandwich, and Veal Tongue Sandwich. Also got the Cookie assortment.Enjoyed everything except for the veal tongue sandwich, which was quite dry in my opinion. It didn't have have or any dressing on it, the tongue was a bit tough. The pizza had good flavoring, but was extremely greasy and didn't hold its shape. The Beef and Chicken Jambons were quite nice. I didn't know what to expect, but they were some Persian cured meat. I would liken it to bologna texture and has a slight pickled taste. I liked that it was combined with picked vegetables, white sauce, and lettuce. I assume the flat bread wrap that it came on is a traditional Persian bread, which is quite interesting. The cookies were a mixed bag. I thought they were far too dry, and not quite worth the $14 price tag for 1 lbs. They were like something I could find for cheaper pre-packaged. Nothing I haven't tried before surprisingly.Been wanting to try this place for a while, so I'm glad I finally did. Would've rated higher if the tongue and pizza were better, and if the cookies were more interesting.

Since we can't travel to Canada at the moment, Aria has stepped in as our go-to place for fresh sangak. While prices are higher compared to Vancouver, we don't really have other options around here. The bakery is located in a Totem Lake strip mall and is pretty nondescript. It always smells lovely in there, especially when the ovens are going and they're cranking out piles of bread. On our most recent visit, we finally tried something other than sangak, and it was terrible. The wait time for a chicken kabob sandwich was almost 20mins, which is ridiculous. When they finally produced it, it wasn't even hot, the chicken was like dry rubber (you could tell it was previously frozen to death) and absolutely flavorless. I would avoid at all costs and just take your freshly baked bread home to eat with cheese and herbs. Maybe one day we'll try some of the bakery items or the interesting looking ghormeh sabzi pizza....

They have the best baklava-different flavors and options. I tried the almond and pistachio, pistachio only and cardamom - all three flavors were amazing. Looking forward to ordering more to share with family and friends.

I've lived in Seattle for 5 years and have complained about my options for Persian needs for all 5 years. I'll say that like most Seattleites I dread the thought of crossing to the east side, but I have found my new reason to venture there! Aria foods has many great things, but the best is their enormous bread oven and option for warm sangak I've been searching for fresh bread to no avail and I'm over the moon with not only an option, but a GREAT option. They also have spices, pastries, teas, dairy variety, etc. Great, your thinking, can't get any better? Right. No! They also serve food. And not just any food, but pizza straight from their amazing oven. I saw ghormesabzi pizza on the menu and couldn't turn it down. Combining pizza with ghormesabzi - skeptical are you? - don't be... two of the best foods combined is fantastic. Can't wait to go back! I'll have to wait a bit as the two packages of bread were devoured too quickly

I ordered the Mediterranean pizza. Looked nothing like the picture, I asked for crispier crust he said ok. Wasn't crispy. Ok whatever doesn't have to be... taste?? Meh. I'm from the Middle East so I love these flavors but the pizza wasn't that good. Also the "I really don't care, customers are annoying, please order and go away you're wasting my time" kid with the AirPods needs to find a job he likes. Seriously zero interest in talking or customers or orders etc .... Disappointing.

Can't speak to the owner or workers but they took my money and handed me my food and weren't rude. Just a business transaction. Tongue sandwich was good. Salad oliveh good. Bread good. I have yet to have a bad experience. I've been maybe 6 times. No issues. Out of thousands of orders placed you have a few bad experiences. Look at the reviews of any food business. Not everything is perfect. Sometimes things go wrong. Sangak is great with some French feta. You grab that across the parking lot at the Persian market. The establishment is clean.
