I've never had Venezuelan food before but this place really exceeded my expectations. The tequenos are heavenly! Order the sampler plate so you can try everything, especially since everything is so good I literally couldn't find one thing I didn't like. Also ask for a side of their chimichurri sauce to dip! The waitress was so nice to us and made an effort to explain stuff

I've always passed this place and wanted to try it so came here with my sister and mom the other day for lunch. We ordered a sampler of mini-arepas and got a variety of vegetarian, cheese, and bean and cheese arepas. You also can have a garlic cream sauce, chimichurri, and spicey sauce to accompany your arepas. There was only one person at the counter and one person cooking in the back so you may have to wait, but it's WORTH it and both of the folks who are there are so sweet and helpful.These were all delicious - the ingredients are fresh and the cornmeal cakes were delicious - crispy on the outside and smooth/ slightly chewy when you bite into them. I loved using the different sauces on them too.We are wanting to come back to try more - give them some love - they deserve it!!

They are perfect for the whole family and for a mama that wants our Cuban/German baby to be exposed to all foods this is a favorite now. She loved the platanitos, frijoles, tequños, and empanadas. The owners thought of everything and even have a changing table in the bathrooms (you know I look for you guys ) But now to tell you all about the delicious food! One of the best things about Arepa Xpress is their sampler platter. It includes a variety of items, including tequeños, empanadas, and of course, arepas. The sampler is perfect for those who are new to Venezuelan cuisine and want to try a little bit of everything. If you're looking for a more substantial meal, their lunch plates are a must-try. The Venezuelan version of Ropa Vieja is a standout dish that truly takes you back home. The shredded beef is cooked to perfection and served with rice, black beans, and plantains. It's a hearty and satisfying meal that will leave you feeling full and content.Another dish that you cannot miss at Arepa Xpress is the swee toqueños with guayaba y queso. These fried cheese sticks are filled with guava paste, creating a perfect balance between sweet and savory. The sauces at Arepa Xpress are also not to be missed. Their chimichurri sauce and garlic sauce are perfect accompaniments to every dish, and for those who love spice, there's a spicy sauce to try as well. Authentic, delicious Venezuelan food. I lived in Venezuela many years ago and I love that I can still get these favorite foods of mine. They fill their aprepas!! They have all the authentic goodness. If you have never had an arepa or tequeño you need to! If you have you won't be disappointed!!

Came for the first time. As soon as I came in asking for a menu , I was directed to scan a code. Come on, we are beyond covid. Get actual menusIn addition the service is pretty much nothing. I tried to be polite but not much of a good feedback. I was basically left alone in the front 10-15 min waiting for the food. I tried to actually get some conversation with the person in charge but clearly he didn't care much about taking to clients. I grabbed the order and left. At my destination I open my order and for a great surprise the Arepa de Perico i ordered was just scrambled eggs with ham. What the heck! No tomato no onions... that is far from perico at all Well done. First and last time I will be on this place.

Such a lovely place to eat. Venezuelan food is very different from Mexican food which is more typical here. They use a lot of plantains and corn in their cooking. I can't recall the name of what I had, but it was like this corn muffin filled with delicious cheese. Drinks are good too. The most joyful part of the experience was speaking with the owner who was warm and inviting, and treated me and my dining companion like family.Please support this small business who makes excellent food and has wonderful customer service skills.

La comida es muy buena, recomiendo todo el sancocho muy rico, buen servicio. patacon y maduros deliciosos .

They give small portions for a box of plate , I got the Burger Venezuela & Criollo something like that & a Venezuelan drink too . In the picture it looks big but it's not big at all , very disappointing about that & they give small portions of fries as well, at the cost around 30-35 dollars , ur better off with Salvadoran food or Mexican food for the your worth of money.

Food was absolutely delicious!!!! If you want a break from the typical Tex Mex flavors, this is the place to go. Very wonderful and refreshing flavors. Will definitely go there again!
